    The worrying thing is that some (most) think that you can be anonymous on the internet ..... as you have said many times, if three letter agencies and/or a government wants to identify you - they can and will

    • @deckmonkey1459
      @deckmonkey1459 2 года назад

      The worrying thing is people don't care. "I don't do anything wrong, why would I care?" The Canadian government has been tracking 33 million cellphones for over 2 years, which is everyone in Canada with a phone. They had to admit it when they applied to track them for 5 more years. They are forcing everyone to add a government app that tracks you and your vax status if you want to return to the country anytime you travel. It includes where, when, travel dates, flights and where and when you will be when you return home. If you are unvaxxed you have to have a quarantine plan submitted for 14 days with multiple tests to be done during that time. The app will allow them to track you and drive by to make sure you comply.
      We had countrywide cellphone loss a few weeks ago on every network. One company running the entire system who needs permission from the government to operate? They wouldn't.... Nah....

      @@deckmonkey1459 What can I say, but: Yeah
      Also what is interesting is that these people that follow QAnon seriously believe that this person is totally anonymous and that governments also don’t know who he (it) is, therefore believing the information he puts out

Just commenting on how if they want to find us they will but also if they want to prevent us from gathering better insight to learn and grow to stop things that most don't even know or realize.

      So what you are saying is that there is no point trying to maintain privacy on the Internet because the three letter agencies can always track you if they want to?
      So you don't think there's any value in hiding your data from Google, Apple and Facebook, which are the three privacy threats that Rob mainly focuses on ? Amazon and Microsoft should also be considered as threats.
      Why bother doing anything in your world? Just sit back, watch videos and achieve nothing?

    If they can find the exact person in North Korea who has hacked specific machines, then the 3 letters can find anyone at any point. It's only a question of whether the effort is worth it for them.

    A VPN is not “security”!
    They can ID you in many other ways (web cookies, OS finger printing, proxies and MIM techniques etc).

    Or anyone who knows... I turn off my nearby share and each time i turn my phone on it's on. It does turn off by itself but it's causing me a huge concern due to odd files that keep getting downloaded without my permission. For example mobile HTML controller .... Or audio notifications. I even had a recording of myself yawning and i have no idea how to record myself in an audio file... Help

      Use a less visible VPN like BytzVPN (mine). Because it is not overcrowded with people, the IP addresses aren't tracked as a VPN
