Just because they're taxi lights doesn't mean theyareonly meant for taxiing. All lights go on on the runway, but sometimes when you're told to line up and wait, then you line up with taxi lights off, indicating that you've not been cleared for takeoff. Once cleared, taxi lights come on. Also below 10,000 feet, landing lights come on, but after receiving landing clearance, taxi lights come on. Also, strobes go on before you get on the runway and after you exit. Great video. Liked and subscribed.
Great videos, at 8:11-8:17 you said you were setting up VNAV and vertical speed. How did you do this, i didn't see you mouse move. Are you using a setting on your keyboard
Yup, I bound most of the autopilot controls to my joystick since I use them so much. Makes the video a lot smoother as well since I have TrackIR running most of the time.
I wish I could pull that off. My AP is bugged out so I just dolphin dive all the way down my approach. Strange how some people have AP issues and some dont.

was really interested to watch when i noticed your video. I'm using the CJ4 mod and have London City Orbx - but when i try to select a STAR or approach I get no choice in the MSFS flight plan screen - i can only choose direct - and when I try to choose an approach in the plane all I get is a blank list - curious to know why you get a list of arrivals at timestamp 2:30 but i get an empty list - just put it down to bizarre MSFS bugs i suppose. Anyway, I enjoyed the vid
First thing is just double check the version you are using because WorkingTitle released a patch after 1.9.3 released. I think it is version 0.3.1 now. You’ll probably have black screens if you’re using the old version. Other than that the only issue I had with the mod is the NAV source button bugging out for me on a couple flights. The biggest issue with the CJ4 now is the autopilot getting completely borked from the 1.9.3 update but it’s not caused by the mod and it’s not even something specific to this plane. Something Asobo did caused huge controller errors in the autopilot basically causing runaway feedback but it’s an issue they have to fix.
Windhover yeah I downloaded the latest Working Title update and I was still having the errors with the plane. But I’m not sure if it’s the mid causing the problem cause I deleted the mod and was still having the same problems with the vanilla CJ4
One thing I dislike, and it's from Microsoft, is the N1 turbines spin in the opposite direction visually that they are supposed to, but this can only be seen at startup and shutdown.
The map needs to be removed from the PFDs. non of the cjs have a map on the pfd. and that's def not what the terrain map looks like on the MFDs. Air source select knob lives on both
Yeah, that one was my bad. The audio balance got borked during recording and I didn't notice. I just didn't have time to re-record this flight for a fourth time.

Rest assured, this was filmed just before the Japan update. I'm currently rocking the dolphin dance as well :p

Ahhh - ok - seems there was an EGLC update i missed in content manager - i can see arrivals now! Apologies for my ramblings. Once again great video.
