So is there an auto throttle? I didn’t think there was so I’ve just been trying to control the throttle by hand. Which can get out of control quickly. Any tips to help me? Great video! I liked and subscribed to your channel. Nice and chill atmosphere. 👍🏻
Thanks! The CJ4 does not have an auto throttle so power is always set by hand.
One thing that helps me out a lot is to set the FLC speed bug/marker to my desired speed before I make any changes to the throttle. The big blue marker makes it easy to see the speed I have to maintain and kind of tricks the brain into always trying to fly to the blue marker. For cruise I find it's best to set the throttle and watch the N1%. If your speed is stable after about 30-60 seconds, make that N1% your base and increase it or decrease it a little bit until you stabilize on your desired speed then just maintain that new N1 setting.
Love your videos. aftyer you set your FD 9:05, you set up your LNAV, VS, and speed bug. I didn't see you click anything to do this. How are you setting up LNAV, VS, speed bug?

I could not get the VOR needle to point to station or NDB needle, once the frequency was selected . Did I miss anything? Thank you for explaining this new Mod

First, the easy one to explain is the NDB because it has never worked in the CJ4 since the game released.
For VORs I'll just list a bunch of things and maybe one of them will help you fix the issue:
1) If using a real world chart, make sure the in-game VOR station has the same frequency because on more than one occasion they have been mismatched.
2) Make sure you are within range and line of sight of the VOR
3) Change NAV source out of FMS1 to VOR1 or VOR2 depending on whether your frequency is on Nav1 or Nav2 to display the VOR course needle on the PFD (or MFD)
4) VOR2 for some reason doesn't allow you to manually select a course. It's been a bug since release and hasn't been fixed yet by ASOBO.
at 15:00 how do get far enough out to see your wing? I cant seem to get it

does that thing have a reverse thrust?
Nope, just ground spoilers and brakes.
it used to have when the game launched. Now they removed the reverse option
@@R93adventures On the real world the CJ4 don´t have reverse thrust, no need it! Have a nice power brakes
I cant get the W next and prev waypoints to work in advanced mfd
The MFD ADV only works when the MFD is in ‘Plan’ view. You can change it with the LWR MENU button. If it’s not working still it could be a mod conflict but I’m not one of the devs so that’s about the extent of my troubleshooting knowledge.
Turn up your voice can’t even hear you with the volume on full 😂
