Diabolical Adrenaline Guitar (Alpha v0.52) - Half-Life Soundtrack

Early versions of tracks from the Half-Life alpha build. This one is noticeably different from the final; the titular guitars are way less pronounced here.
The other 9 tracks included on the CD are identical to their final versions; arguably the only exception is Drums and Riffs where the only difference is the intro fade-in isn't cut off.

this sounds like a stealth version of the song that transitions into a battle version (the version that is actually in the game) when an enemy finds you

It sounds to me more like an "evasion" version that the battle version transitions into when the enemy loses sight of you and they start searching for you.

This sounds so good! Has some tracker UT vibe to it. I prefer it to the release version actually. Too bad it has some harsh transitions.
