The Trump stuff is a pathetic side show. You may not have noticed yet, but the world is moving on - quickly, very quickly.
No other President has needed to ask this, needed to clarify how much illegal behaviour would be acceptable. This says everything about Trump. It never occurred to the US' founding fathers that a criminal or corrupt person would be chosen let alone be elected into that office.
That's what impeachment is for. Democrats didn't believe any criminality in Bragg's NDA case until Trump announced he was running for re-election, how lucky, right?
And the thought that the DOJ should have the power to 2nd guess the president's every action and target them after they leave to relitigate and seek a crime for retribution is absolutely not constitutional. It never was. The DOJ was NEVER intended to have the power to interfere in another branch of government's leader, but you know who does? Congress with Impeachment (Which removes immunity upon conviction).
Exactly. The great Republican leaders would be appalled to see how this high office has been reduced to a farce by not just one but a bevy of narcissistically obsessed flim flam merchants obsessed about themselves rather than the well being and progress of their country.

The criminal cases are doomed to fail on appeal (because a fair trial initially simply isn't possible until the higher courts) and Trump's poll numbers increased after each indictment and leads Biden in them.

I haven't seen the video. But I've watched the whole court hearing twice and a dozen videos from different lawyers and law professors discussing it. Why would my opinion be less valid because I didn't watch some TV personalities and journalists opine on something they don't really know about?
