Not an unpopular opinion at all lmao, be quiet. The split between players who like and dislike DZ is at worst 50/50, most players have accepted DZ. Don't act like you're in anyway special.
Well it's not awful but it's also kinda boring. We've seen battle royale like a thousand times before and the whole concept is very repetitive and leaves few room for strategy and tactical gameplay compared to classic cs modes.
@@dessertlimbo So what you're saying is community servers, casual game modes and community made maps and gamemodes shouldn't be allowed either, because they're not strictly competitive? Who cares if DZ doesn't fit the same theme that the competitive gamemode falls into, it's still very much CS:GO and has a fair amount of skill to it.
I think people are easily intimidated by Blacksite. When you first begin it seems like you have no idea what is going on, and that you're helpless because you start with no gun. But it's actually a pretty fluid game mode. You just need to understand how it all works and it becomes a nice little game. With a bit more experience you don't have those same issues you did at the start, you will understand how to get tools and guns and ammo and the progression of the game will start feeling a lot more natural. I hope more people start giving it another try. You'll figure it out with some experience. It's not a shallow game mode, there is a lot to it that people don't know at the start.
Also health shot also reduces dmg taken (momentarily) and decoys show as a "player" on map, and nades have more dmg and bigger radius and molotovs won't explode in air

For queuing with a friend, it can actually be advantageous to spread your spawns out a little bit and bet on the fact that an enemy won't want to spawn between you. For instance, I always spawn on overlook/the east side of construction and will usually grab the loot from overpass right at the start and my friend usually spawns on the west side of delta and will run cliffs at the start. This strategy maximizes the amount of territory you start the game with and thus the loot you receive. It's optimal to pick a place to spawn and stick with it so that you can learn where all of the item spawn points are around you. In the early game, it is incredibly important to find armor. If you don't find armor by the time you are done looting your spawn, you should consider buying it before moving on in the game. In the mid game, we generally pick one team to hunt down and kill in order to maximize our ammo and utility. We don't generally buy anything except armor via our drones at this point in the game. SMGs and shotguns are great for this part of the game. In the late game, you can actually afford to be patient. Many teams will try and get the first supply drop and I have found that it is optimal to just wait out for the second or even third drop. As you are securing a drop, have one of your teammates mass order a bunch of ammo so that it arrives when you open your crate. After you get your first drop, you have a decision to make. Depending on how many people are left, my teammate and I will either try to hunt down another drop, have one of us keep an SMG (I find the MP9 to be the most effective, since it has the best precision of any SMG, great fire rate, and decent damage), or order a scout. Once you have your end game loadout ready, it's just a matter of following the zones and finding a good place to have the final showdown. edit: oh, and if you find extra gun crates that your team isn't going to use, be a dick and shoot off all of the ammo that is in the gun so no one else can get it
I was getting goosebumps for apparently no reason. Listened carefully and... Warcraft 2 soundtrack at 2:30 combined with BRENT’s voice. Best youtuber ever. Keep the awesome work.
Pro tip: Put three breach charges around the position where an experimental weapon box will drop / has dropped. Move back into a safe position and look at your tablet (High res recommended but not required). As soon as you see the crate symbol disappear from the map, detonate your breach charges. This strat has worked 100% of the time for me (Tried it once).
A tip you forgot to mention: Diversion devices can make empty hexagons yellow, if you're in a 1v 1 situation and are about to enter the enemy's hexagon, throw a diversion device in the hexagon you are currently in to catch the enemy off guard
I've watched a lot of Danger Zone videos from other csgo youtubers, but so far this one is the most helpful and full of useful tips, good job WarOwl very cool
Good video, there are endless tips for this gamemode. It's a very strategic mode and many times you can win the game just through one kill. Rarely 0 if the danger zone kills the last guy for you. The rifle-care-package have a pattern to them. While the first always drops in the middle of the playable area, the 2nd or third always seems to drop in the farthest corner of the playable area, usually in a hex that is about to get zoned-out. Check it out yourself next time you play, note how the hex which is seemingly the farthest from the center gets a drop. Be quick to it as it tends to be a hex that will be zoned-out next round of missiles.
Awesome video. Thx man, I learned a few new tricks even tho I have already 52 squad wins and like 15 solo wins ( I rarely play solo tho, prefer duos) so I've been playing it quite a bit :P BUT, I need to correct you about the parachutes. They most certainly wont be "always spawning at high elevations where you actually need them". They can be found on the ground level and basically everywhere else too. :) But of course the high altitude places like the water tower etc. USUALLY have them, but not every time. :) *edit typos*
How to win danger zone: 1.drop at water tower 2.stay there for a while 3.If someone comes just jump down with parachute and run away 4.just wait in a house somewhere till its 1v1 5.then kill the last boi from behind. _literrally the way how I got my first win..._
"If you're playing with friends ALWAYS decide beforehand where you're going to spawn." My friends and I: "We all spawned on different sides of the map, didn't we"

How to win at Danger Zone? #1 Put music you use into the description. Easy as that :^) (For real Warowl, PLEASE, it's several months I ask for some songs and usually other people do too yet no one knows :^( )
For example 5:32 is the song I ask at every, single, video :^( I was literally going through the whole comment section only to find out other people are looking for this one too :^(
The high-value target missions also show if the targets in your zone. They are always worth it. Hostages are free money if they spawn near the hostage rescue area anyways, and can be used strategically to drop. Sometimes people shoot them thinking they are enemies by accident. Also, Echo is best spot to drop in as you can instantly see if you get good loot outside of Echo, then just rush 3 good camping spots or stay inside echo. Sure, you're middle of the map. But it's hard to snipe you out as the windows blacken quickly.
Can you make a tutorial about the demo watching system? Like how to analyze or how to work with the demo ui, i cant find any. Also, love your vids :D because of you, im gold nova master. Thx alot
The Demoui is pretty easy, Shift+F2, and Boom! You're God of the Demo Now. However, if you wanna watch HLTV demos or Third-party Downloaded Demos, you'll have to Browse from the Demoui. The Analysis Part, is totally up to you.
My personal preference is to spawn in the middle because there's a larger amount of uneven terrain and weapons in some areas. Outer areas tend to be at lower angles and more exposed. Also some of the houses imo are always devoid of good loot and it's a long open run to the next place to find a possible weapon box. Hatch, Bunker, Military, Delta, and anywhere in the southern compound seem to be my favorites because it's quick access to multiple areas, and you can easily just avoid a fight if you don't find a weapon in the first 20-30 seconds as people will run right past you. They're all too busy looking for loot themselves instead of checking angles, like 75% of the time you can just hide in a corner or skirt around a box and they'll miss you. Avoid Radio though, it attracts too much attention but it's nice for mid-late game if the red zone allows for it. Parachutes always spawn at water tower, but it can spawn on the ground randomly too. "Get enough ammo for your pistol, a mag or two, so you can kill 3 or 4 players" you overestimate the skill level of danger zone players (namely me). One tip you didn't mention was the strat of using items on the ground as traps. Is that $50 money wad worth picking up? Or can it be used to make noise for people trying to sneak around? Same with ammo boxes, if you don't have a good weapon, leave 1 in the box. Parachutes and money bags are great too. Also: This is a general CS tip, but if you just killed an enemy - Do not reload immediately! Most of the time I'm killed or kill others by baiting the fight and killing the victor when they're reloading or otherwise unprepared. Kill someone, check around for an ambush, then reload in a safe place behind cover. This is just personal experience though. Good vid as always.
here is another tip from me 1. find guns 2. avoid players 3. wait until there is one team or 1 player left 4. sneak up on them and kill. or 1. find a good smg or rifle | 2. buy loads of ammo/shields/medishots /armor 3. when you are loaded up started engaging other players
max speed parachutes this guys got all kinds of good tips thanks warowl. i remember dying with it thinking it would auto deploy? must not have hit max speed with it.. but i did land a pretty large jump off the lighthouse.. landed in the rocks.. never tried this off water tower
I find it doesn't matter AT ALL where u drop in Danger Zone. I go Radio all the time, and won 5 games in 2 hours today, which is almost a 50% win ratio. People don't push you usually so there is no point to be bothered by where they can come from - what I do is get basic loot first, and then look at the tablet and chase people - by chasing others you counter them chasing you, because even if they do - you're looking at them and it will be very easy to fight it out, almost 100% aim in there. Very good video for the new players and I very much respect you for it tho ;)
Yeah this is some f2p servers. Usually people rush in instantly. Radio has bad loot for it's size and location, making it the biggest target of rushes when people get fairly bad loot, as they can get a lucky kill or two and buy something good. Factor in the footstep sounds on grass, you can't hear anyone before they are in shotgun range to you. Yes, you can camp in radio. No, that isn't a good strat as the last zone cannot be put inside the camping areas of Radio, and you have to push out to the open fields. Echo and Industry are the best camping spots, both having the final zone possibility inside the camping area, as well as a huge sniping area of a roof.
#1: Hide like a coward.
#2: Sneak up on the last guy standing from behind.
1. I loot my area near the edge get a gun and armor
2. watch the areas near me and when one empties - move into it and loot it
3. keep moving into empty areas watching the full ones and try to kill those guys as they move
I do this and can always finish in the top 3 unless I stupidly miss a shot or get one tapped while unarmored

Shift + F2 opens the control panel and then you can slowdown or speed up the match
@@ironwolfgaming9632 thx
The Demoui is pretty easy, Shift+F2, and Boom! You're God of the Demo Now. However, if you wanna watch HLTV demos or Third-party Downloaded Demos, you'll have to Browse from the Demoui.
The Analysis Part, is totally up to you.
I love how war owl will still play starcraft music in the backround during a cs:go video to keep to his roots 11:00

Happy new year! Finaly a new vid. I have missed Them the hole Christmas👏🏻 thank you for your nice vids. Keep’em Rolling 👍🏻
The ten commandments say not to kill so I am an athiest now
My personal preference is to spawn in the middle because there's a larger amount of uneven terrain and weapons in some areas.
Good vid as always.

good vid
