I understand that you can’t answer all comments. However, I wanted you to know that I enjoy your channel. It is one of the first things that I think about when I wake up on Saturday morning. I turn on the TV on Saturday morning and there you are. I enjoy your down to earth and humble way that you present yourselves and your travel. Keep up the good work. We appreciate it. Cheers!
I’m glad you will continue. You have inspired me. I didn’t sell my home mainly because I don’t know what the future looks like for me. I’ve rented it out. It pays good money- enough to cover my travel costs. It’s not without problems but my daughters help me out when I’m away. I’ve left Australia now, following your example. Thanks for your inspiration. I’m actually happy after a divorce from a lying cheating disrespectful husband, and 4 years of grieving the 50 year happy marriage. Yesterday I actually felt joy. I thought, “what’s that?” Is it joy? Yes I think it is. I travel mindfully at my own pace, taking it all in. Thank you for your RUclips channel. You have inspired me to change my lifestyle. 🥂
I’m very happy to hear that you are going to continue with the channel, I can hardly believe it’s been two years now how time flys. It’s been a pleasure to follow along with all ups, downs, twists & turns. Please keep on keeping on!
Hello both hope all is well .Renting out your house 🏠 a lot of people may not be aware that the inland revenue ain’t as generous as they used to be .In respect to how long until you can let it out before it’s no longer classed as your abode so then if you sell it you get stuffed with capital gains. We rent out a house in Uk 🇬🇧 live in a static caravan in Bewdley six months a year and travel 🧭 for the other six months.we lived in our house in 🇬🇧 for 19 years will sell after four.Sarah most likely has visited Bewdley its a popular place for brummies and Black Country. I gave up my shop in Birmingham city centre in 2019 at 55 and my wife gave up her job working for property developers 2020 .have not missed it for a nanosecond
Just discovered the channel, great job, much appreciated for all the hard work and time you dedicate. Love seeing how in-sync you seem to be... I wish I had a bit of that, you're both so lucky!
I love travel days ! its 1-3 days of free food and people watching ! with a CC that offers free lounge access its the few days between travel that costs me nothing.
I too am not a tourist, and find it hard to explain. My friends can’t understand why I don’t cram in every experience in a short period. I just like to meet locals see how people live and find interesting things I’ve never found before. I still take holidays from slow travel, and go to resorts and tourist areas, but they are holidays, just like everyone else.
"Traveling is not a competition" and "This is our life". These truths really hit home for me. There is definitely something to be said for just "being" in a place and observing life. Doing your best to live like a local has quite a few benefits such as taking the pressure off , as well as financial benefits. Like you, I feel no need to rush around and acting as a tourist, ticking boxes and such. Enjoy you two. Safe travels.
Thank you for this visit. I live in London and just turning 52 and feel burnt out. I am a Paediatric nurse working with Complex Children and young adults in the community. Looking to change career and do teaching English abroad. I have done a lot of travelling over the years, off to Japan in May. I saw a few of your videos. Thanks for this one.
Travel days are always stressful for us as we travel full time! We try and head to the airport very early and get through security, and then we can relax airside and eat and drink leisurely. We've also had our moments of whether to stop doing our RUclips channel...but we'll keep doing it as long as it's fun. Cheers from Lisbon :)
Love you guys and your videos! Just quit my corporate job and started a slow travel lifestyle. Been watching you two from the beginning, and you have been so helpful and inspirational. Sorry it's been a pain making videos, but as usual, you have taken it in stride, learned from it, and are able to laugh it now. I hope to jump in as a Patreon as soon as I quit freaking out about not having a paycheck!
So glad you chose to keep doing the RUclips thing. Your videos jump out at me when a new one is available, and they are some of my favourites to watch! Love all the content, all the personal insights, the keeping it real side of things - all of it! Quit my corporate job, and wouldn't go back for anything. Have some young ones that are stopping me travelling, but one day..... Keep going!
Just stumbled on your channel today! I’m six months in to the non-tourist lifestyle…. I still work online part-time but generally slow-traveling retired. I love the nomadic - live like a local lifestyle so far!! In Southeast Asia now - looking forward to Europe and South America as the future unfolds! Just subscribed!😊
So glad you’re still on RUclips as we know creating content is a lot of work. You’re both very genuine and so enjoyable to watch and learn from. If you’re ever thinking of visiting Ecuador, look us up. 😊
So glad you didn’t stop making videos. You have a lot of people here who care about you two and would’ve been gutted. I look forward to watching each and every video and living vicariously through you two. ❤
Watching this while I pack up our hotel room after 3 days in it (after a few weeks in an airbnb). How does stuff spread out so much! Yes someone to pack:) Love the channel and honesty. Please continue:)
We travel by RV Van in North America and it work really well to balance out our travel expense with high cost countries. We also travel by cruise and love it
I love how you are thinking about your patrons when you decide on your content. Focusing on the needs of real people is so much easier than trying to fight an abstract algorithm.
So glad you decided you wanted to continue the channel. I really enjoy your humor, humility, and I'm entertained by you both as you live your journey doing what I'm interested in doing with my wife. It will be another 3-4 years before we can begin. Meanwhile I need to live vicariously through you. So thank you and keep doing what you do :)
I appreciate many things about you two, and above all, your authenticity. Loved hearing about your journey so far, the pluses and minuses, your regrets. I look forward to your videos on Saturday morning and enjoy whatever you bring to the table, always thoughtful and interesting. I like how you say you aren’t tourists, that you’re just living your life. I love that you find new friends everywhere you go. Thanks for another enjoyable video!
Very important what you say about not being tourists, that you are just living your lives. I am the same way as a full-time traveler. There are some things I will want to see in a location I'm staying in, but if I don't see all the "must-sees" it's no big deal. Most of my time in a location is spent just living, like you would in any place you live. Not every day is an adventure, and I don't want it to be that way. If every day was an adventure, I would just be a tourist on vacation/holiday! And I would get burned out very quickly. That's not the type of life I want as a nomad. Keep up the great job with the videos. Glad to hear you will continue doing it! Cheers!
You are doing exactly what my wife and I want to do. We are both 45 and can financially do this today, but our son has 4 more years before he can go to university and we have a 6-year old dog that is holding us back from beginning this journey.
Just stumbled upon your channel a few weeks ago and I've been catching up on your content! Wife and I have been contemplating retirement (5 yrs away) and what we'd be in a position to do, and I've been inspired by your videos to sell everything and move to Southeast Asia! Keep up your travels and turning out great content! Looking forward to catching up with you on the road!
Neil and Sarah the race is on! Inspired by you two. We brought home our class A RV today. Our beach front tropical tiny vacation rentals hit the market this year. Going roaming 2023!
As fellow RUclipsrs and FIRE nomads, this video is so relatable. 1. We meet hundreds of nomads every year and the topic of “what we’d do differently if we won the lottery” comes up often. Without doubt the place our community would spend more money is on their accommodations. Same for us. Loving the affordability of SE Asia where our money goes so far. Looking at the US later this year and need the smelling salts to revive me! 2. Moving day is tomorrow so Neil’s valet wish is now one I want as well! If that person could handle visas, even better. 3. Happy FIRE-versary! I just hit mine in April and celebrate every year. Wonderful that your lives are going so well. ❤ 4. In February 2022, we stopped our weekly RUclips videos. Now, we do them when we want, knowing that YT will hide anything we publish. Ah, well…it’s roughly one a month so still keeping a toe in that water but it’s not taking over our lives anymore. Like you, it was lots of effort and arguing. I’m glad you’re doing it on your own terms. Your videos are awesome! Best to you both. 😘
Glad you are continuing to do this because I do enjoy your authenticity and I am sure I speak for your other followers, that I come back to watch your channel for you both. Sure there are other travel you tubers out there but honestly I use them only when planning a trip and drop once I'm done. But not to knock anyone who puts out content on YT, it's hard work! So I always "like" anything I watch to acknowledge the hard work that went into producing that content for my entertainment.
Love this video, and you guys. You've had an impact on me for sure. I've recently been travelling in Romania and loved it. Naples is next on the list. I love watching your travels/adventures and you give the best advice. I guess my only question is.. is there anyone you really don't want to go and why?
Just found your channel today and LOVED how real you are about not doing it for the money! Well done! I have been watching tons of RUclips travel (FIRE, retirement, young/any age, slow/fast any type) and it is super fun to see someone really consider WHY and figure out what's best for you.
I’ve really enjoyed following your journey, I subscribed very early on and you hadn’t left the UK yet. I always thought it was brave to start during Covid times but you guys made it work. I’m pleased you didn’t pack in your vlogging, Saturdays wouldn’t be right without a2Go Roam video.
So grateful you decided to continue your channel. I was traveling yesterday and missed your video. Had to stop this morning and catch up. My husband laughs that I speak about Neil and Sarah like we're friends. Thanks for letting us peek into your world every week. As for your spreadsheets, yes I'd be very interested as I commented on the original video hoping it would be available at some point in the future. Safe travels and looking forward to next week's Q&A.
I truly enjoy your channel. Your leap into early retirement inspired me to do the same. I ,ost enjoy your conversations and takes on all things in life. Thx.
I just found your RUclips channel last week and absolutely love your videos, particularly the ones where you focus on logistics, planning, budgeting/money. My husband and I plan to start travelling for a substantial part of every year, starting at the end of 2024 when my husband retires. So my job at the moment is planning to get ourselves back to UK from our current home in New Zealand, and then planning the first 6 months of travel (which will mostly be in SE Asia). I would love to see a video on how you deal with financial institutions (e.g. banks) and tax in the UK as you travel the world, and also if you use the NHS. The sort of things that I’m struggling to figure out at the moment are - 1. how to move cash ISAs or open savings accounts when we don’t have a UK address. Even if we use our parents address, financial institutions require us to prove address with things like utility bills, which of course we don’t have, and won’t have in the future. Our plan is to continue to rent our house in Uk and live with family in Uk and Ireland when we are not travelling, and probably stay in AirBnBs for short periods as well. 2. Can we move our current stocks and shares ISAs to a different management company from the one we currently use when we are not resident in the UK? 2. Where can we find a good UK tax accountant who is used to dealing with nomads to help us to determine what we need to do to ensure we are tax resident in UK. 3. How do we access NHS care, for example register with a GP, without a permanent UK address. Will they consider us health tourists rather than Uk residents ? Apologies if you’ve already covered these sorts of issues in your other videos. Good luck with your travels and keep the videos coming. If you make it to Auckland, New Zealand before we leave at the end of 2024, we would love it if you would come and stay with us.
... having been a nomad I'm happy you're happy with your journey,, everyday is a school day on the road 🙏 ... my question is ... where did you two meet ?
So thankful you are continuing with the videos. I have enjoyed them right from the start! Your videos are a real joy to watch. I am also glad that you remember to have fun with this. It truly shows in your videos. The ups and downs of your travel experience and life are valuable for all of us to learn from. Thanks for sharing everything!!
I know what you mean about not doing touristy things when you're living your life abroad. I lived in Athens, Greece, for two years and never went to a Greek island. I was having too much fun with my Greek friends in the city.
I lived near York and never visited the National Railway Museum until I took my son and later a family friends from France. I had 3 days in Beijing with a mate, but he was ill, so I never got to see the big wall. Regrets are a waste.
Hi Neil and Sarah! We love your drops every Saturday and look forward to them! Loved your recent videos about the medical costs in Malaysia. That was a big concern for me, as someone who wants to move abroad soon-ish. Would you do a video at some point, that is a day in your life? The boring/mundane and the exciting? My biggest concern with retirement is being bored. I'm thinking your channel gives you a lot of purpose, but would love to see more of your daily routine. Thanks!
Absolutely wonderful video! I'm headed to Turkey on April 1st & will visit one of the coastal places that you guys visited, Fethiye. Looking forward to getting away from this Bangkok heat. I love Bangkok but, it's so hot & smoggy right now, I can't handle it. It is refreshing to know that you've figured out how RUclips fits in your life & created balance around that. It's nice to know who's in control. Best wishes for a wonderful week ahead &, as always, I look forward to your next video.
Glad you are continuing this primarily for yourselves, you are such a small channel that the money would never have been a consideration. I hope the people who are prepared to pay for content continues to grow for you. We are retired and love slow travel but aren't nomadic (we like coming back to our home for a few months). It's interesting to watch how you both cope with a nomadic lifestyle now you are 1/5th of the way through your 10 years. Thanks for the videos.
Top 10 death bed wishes AKA: REGRETS!!! I wish.... ❤I had more time! ❤I lived my life my way! I had loved more! I laughed more! I had set my priorities differently! ❤I seen more of the world! I listened more to my heart! I loved me more! ❤I had not worked so much and spent more time with my loved one(s)! I had payed more attention to my health! The majority of adults are living a life that has been mapped out by the generation before them. They deem it as a safe way and whatsmore the ONLY way. Life doesn't acknowledge your long-term plans, it won't reschedule the future if your health suffers, it will throw you an abundance of obstacles and scatter tragedies and triumphs throughout your calendar, so the best option you have is to enjoy the now as much as possible. ❤❤
So glad you kept channel. Love just hearing about places you go and what can be done with. $$ spend. Would very much like a tool that really pulls all those pieces together to help plan and track travel budget. You really are becoming experts.
Good advice. I’m retired at 62 living in Southern California. I would like to get out of the USA and travel searching for a new country to live in. It’s good advice to sell my house rather than rent it out because you never know how people will treat your property. Also I think the housing market will fall so it’s good to cash out now.
I noticed the Monument Valley triptych on the wall of your former home. It’s a stunning location that I think you visited during your time in Arizona; if not I hope you come back and see it in person.
Regarding the question of paying for tools. I love to hear how you do you comparisons and planning and calculations, but not really interested in a product. I tend to develop my own tools. Might change my mind later but that is the way I feel currently.
Don't shut down your RUclips. You are just about to the point where you could start seeing some real money soon. If it were me, I would just take the brand deals for stuff I would actually use.
To the point that this will be coming to an end at some time in the future; are you keeping money aside to buy a home when you are done? I am interested in doing the same but get a little concerned about getting out of the housing market sometimes, and the worry that it will be so expensive to get back in to a home.
Hello, great content. Do you and your wife check in luggage and also carry on? And what is your experience with luggage/baggage in general as far as what is allowed and the sizes of your belongings, such as what size in liters? Thank you.
Yes, we are much more alike than different, the world over. No matter where we are when we are travelling, we see mothers and fathers taking care of their little ones, sons and daughters helping their elderly parents, friends and family out together enjoying each other’s company, people going and coming from work, errands, the park, the beach, the hospital, the funeral home, the car repair shop…the list goes on…but what we’ve found no matter if we were in Albania or Italy or Morocco, people just want to be safe, healthy and happy. ….everybody now….come on…join in: 🎼🎤we are the world….we are the people……😉🤣
Really good video guys. Do you think it was down to the RUclips that made you guys argue more or could it be the fact you’re literally in each others laps for the last two years 24/7 and the arguments just manifest or boil over because RUclips is now a part of your life? I use a tool called trip coin for my budgeting. Probably not as sophisticated but nice and simple to use. I think I remember you mentioning, when you were in Greece that you didn’t feel the need to see everything all the time so you’re sticking with that philosophy and I’m with you on that. In my book I’m writing about the fact I’m not a tourist and don’t feel the need to do everything at once; I don’t have a timer from when I board the plane to go on a “holiday”. My holiday is my life now. No rush. It’s so liberating. Liberating and freedom are two of the most common words I use when describing my travel experience. Safe travels guys. 🤙
Wondered if it was $4 per hour actually worked, per 40 hour workweek, or on a 24 hour basis. Just geeking out here. I’m always interested to hear about your reasoning and decisions, keep being you!
Your videos are so relatable and informative. You have inspired us to start our own discovery of what retirement can look like. We even started a RUclips channel as well! #wadingintoretirement
As you have sold your main home where will you live and how will you be able to afford to rent with no jobs? I presume eventually your money will run out without a full time income. My son who is in IT says companies such as RUclips, Facebook, Ebay and Amazon can change rules and regulations at a drop of a hat potentially rendering your online business obsolete overnight. I don't think it is a wise move to put all one's eggs in a single basket.
“Far better to dare mighty things….” Stick with it you two, and don’t think you’ve had your last “couple” disagreement. Feed the youtube beast, but don’t let the beast feed on you. And never go corporate again 😂
Wonderful just Wonderful. 😊 Thanks for taking the time to share all this with us. Absolutely 💯 correct. You have to keep the lines of communication open with each other and remember YT or being content creators shouldn't turn you all into grumpy little Dodo birds 🦤🦤.😉👍 Did you ever decide to make that spreadsheet available?
I understand that you can’t answer all comments. However, I wanted you to know that I enjoy your channel. It is one of the first things that I think about when I wake up on Saturday morning. The sort of things that I’m struggling to figure out at the moment are -
1. how to move cash ISAs or open savings accounts when we don’t have a UK address.
We'll answer that the next time we do a Q&A 👍. It's far from a normal story of our meeting 😃
We are new followers. We enjoyed this video very much. Looking forward to the next one.
"Live as Locals"...Love it! The point of nomadic living is to "live", not run around doing the touristy-things.
Great video. We love all the help & info that you give
Very happy you are continuing with the channel, I enjoy your content so much.
Brilliant video. Always love a great spreadsheet to play with and yours looks fantastic.
Enjoyable update video on where you are with all of this. Glad you didn’t jack it all in over Christmas. Keep on keeping on!
Top 10 death bed wishes AKA: REGRETS!!!

First, I am so glad you didn’t quit YT because I would certainly miss you and your humour! Second, I would really be interested in a finance app.
I absolutely love your channel and I’d really miss you if you left RUclips. Thank you for what you contribute to the world. ❤
You guys are an inspiration! We hope to do long term travelling too
Safe travels. thanks for the info about comparing cities when traveling.
Great video - really looking forward to you being back in Europe (as an Aussie that loves going there in our winter)👍
God bless you both
Good advice. I’m retired at 62 living in Southern California. I would like to get out of the USA and travel searching for a new country to live in. It’s good advice to sell my house rather than rent it out because you never know how people will treat your property. Also I think the housing market will fall so it’s good to cash out now.
I'm having trouble getting through this one because Neil keeps putting down Sarah. Neil, please be good to Sarah. She's great too!
Yeah Neil is an absolute monster😂
Good video... I like the bit about the budgeting through the year bit ... it must take a lot of time preparing and doing these videos..
Blimey.... if only you knew lol 😂
Yes!! Interested in spreadsheets!!!
I would be interested in the spreadsheets
Don't shut down your RUclips. You are just about to the point where you could start seeing some real money soon. If it were me, I would just take the brand deals for stuff I would actually use.
To the point that this will be coming to an end at some time in the future; are you keeping money aside to buy a home when you are done? I am interested in doing the same but get a little concerned about getting out of the housing market sometimes, and the worry that it will be so expensive to get back in to a home.
Jill, we'll try to answer this in a video soon. Big subject.
….everybody now….come on…join in: 🎼🎤we are the world….we are the people……😉🤣
Look at doing ‘yoga nidra’ every afternoon. Like a guided meditation. Also, avoid eating too much RICE.
We would be willing to pay for your digital spreadsheet. We are nomads and constantly trying to balance our budget.
Maybe a mixture of both Ryan but RUclips is always the catalyst 😃
Yes defs interested in those tools
Thanks for your videos
Wondered if it was $4 per hour actually worked, per 40 hour workweek, or on a 24 hour basis. Just geeking out here. I’m always interested to hear about your reasoning and decisions, keep being you!
That's for the time invested in making the videos.
@@2GoRoam And that’s between both of you?
I'll be your travel organiser when you're multi millionaires! I'll update my CV 😊 xx
Deal!
Hi guys
Can you tell me the hospital you used in K L as i would like to have a full health check.
Kind regards
Your videos are so relatable and informative. You have inspired us to start our own discovery of what retirement can look like. We even started a RUclips channel as well! #wadingintoretirement
As you have sold your main home where will you live and how will you be able to afford to rent with no jobs? I presume eventually your money will run out without a full time income. My son who is in IT says companies such as RUclips, Facebook, Ebay and Amazon can change rules and regulations at a drop of a hat potentially rendering your online business obsolete overnight. I don't think it is a wise move to put all one's eggs in a single basket.
Hi a Steven, we address this in a couple of weeks. but great not, we've retired rather than just having a 10 year splurge 😃
Nice house you hv there.
Full time butler coming up!!!
Are you ever planning on going to Switzerland?
We mention it time in Zurich in the up coming Q&A videos 👍😃
“Far better to dare mighty things….” Stick with it you two, and don’t think you’ve had your last “couple” disagreement. Feed the youtube beast, but don’t let the beast feed on you. And never go corporate again 😂
Hahaha! There will be 37 states after we pitch out the crazy ones! 🤪
Do you have kids? If so, at what point did you feel conferrable leaving them to start your travels?
These guys are ok.
How much luggage do you two carry with you?
Always TOO MUCH... and it annoys us intently 😂🤣
Take turns doing videos
Do you have soap
Instead of retired you go back to work again haha, but heay at the end of the day as long as you happy that good enough
Wonderful just Wonderful. 😊 Thanks for taking the time to share all this with us.
Absolutely 💯 correct. You have to keep the lines of communication open with each other and remember YT or being content creators shouldn't turn you all into grumpy little Dodo birds 🦤🦤.😉👍
Did you ever decide to make that spreadsheet available?
Not yet... it will take some time to make it consumable. One day...
