Because they started this game around the time when DC movies had a big shift. Basically, Suicide Squad did well at the box office while BVS underperformed expectations. That's where it all started.
They should be using actors from the DCAU.

Batman would have planned the counter attack, Wonder Woman would have fought Brainiac's army, and Flash would have saved the civilians.
They should have sent green lanturn, things gets messy he maies a construct to alert the leage to get up there. If he gets brainwashed as he would have, superman and maybe batman could have actually pulled tje ring off him, assuming we're using the concentration logic
The whole mood of this game is so off. This game is extremely sad seeing all earth mightiest heroes die in the end, and the Suicide Squad is just over here thinking they are in a carnival. Sad

I’m just saying, if Batman, Flash, and Wonder Woman felt uneasy about the whole situation, why didn’t they just stay on earth while Superman and Green Lantern inspected.

@@aidenboyle3573 Well Wonder Woman focused first of all in saving the civilians and sent Flash to do it had Barry not fought Green Lantern on his own (i understand why he did it but still) and focused on saving as many people as he could while trying to stay off brainiac's radar and rejoined with Wonder Woman then they could have planned a counter attack.
So in other words this happens because of Superman's incompetence and not listening to batman just like apocalypse war smh🤦♂️

When most of the budget was spent on the shallow open world rather than making an interesting story, so they decided to have audio logs in the game because it wouldn't cost much.
If anything batman should’ve been the one to avoid Brainiacs control. they could’ve written in a justice buster of some sort and had Batman be the one to help the suicide sqaud and if he was gonna die Superman should’ve been the one to do it that way even with the repetitive gameplay more people would be willing to buy the game OR BETTER YET it could’ve been BATMAN KILL THE JUSTICE LEAGUE if they wanted to break gaming they could’ve done that

More story intrigue in these tapes then the actual story. This game needed to be a Justice League game. I feel like the darkness of it would’ve been perfect for a superhero conflict then just bad guys shooting everything you love.

I hate the story but I do like the detail that Bruce is the only one that calls Superman Clark, it really shows how close they are
I think it's like that most of the time because of how Batman sees Superman's humanity as opposed to others who see him more as an alien

Despite the insulting ending given to Batman, they at least made him infinitely more competent than the rest of the League. He was right not to trust Brainiac. If only he had some 5D contingency plan that served to resurrect or at least keep his mind alive should he be brainwashed like what happened to him.

The third tape confirms that Alfred is still alive, since Batman talks about him in the present tense. Which means Brainiac-controllee Batman probably murdered him too.

Ibr Batman wouldn't of gone up there. Unlike Clark, Lantern, WW or Flash. He can't just "escape." Because if Brainiac's evil and he's INVITING Superman onto his ship, he must be extremely confident he can at least capture him. And if he can capture Clark, he can capture Bruce.
Also, since at the end of Arkham Knight, Bruce told Duck it was the last time he'll see him, I don't think his plan was to come back. Rather to completely give up Bruce Wayne to completely bec9me the horrific idea of a Batman. So, why didn't they just keep him "dead?" It would've made the last survivor thing alot more logical as WW is the last person Brainiac would want alive as she has no weaknesses and hiding isn't really something she does.
However, if the man ,who hides in the shadows, is presumed long ago dead by Brainiac, then Bruce would have the upper hand and it would continue Arkham Batman's story while actually showing fans Batman's tower of Bable protocols in a game for the first time.
Also, Batman wouldn't KILL the JL so by the end of my revised game it would lead to the next instalment of the Arkham franchise branching off Batman central into a JL game as Batman returns from the dead after 5 years and forms the JL with Kal, WW, Flash and GL in response to intergalactic threats like Brainiac.
Just an idea so let me know what you think but I really like it and I hope you do too 🙏🏾👍🏾

He’s pretty in character outside of him not asserting that they don’t go on the ship due to the high risk.

So then in the audiobooks or dialogues is Justice Day similar or the same A-Day(Avengers Day) like in the Avengers Game.
I actually am not annoyed/disappointed that they were irreverent with the JL (although it would not be my first choice for story feel). But they were inconsistent with the feel of the story and that confuses me so i don't know what the writers were trying to make me feel. The tone shifts so rapidly in each scene that it feels like they want the audience to feel what they want in every moment so the ones who take the story seriously can focus on those small specks of real moments and the ones who don't care can focus on that. But i just can't ignore the jokes that are thrown my way so i can't take the story seriously cause it doesn't itself, kinda like some marvel movies but even stronger. In my opinion they should have either gone all in dropped the apocalyptic tone of the story and just go for memes it can still be fun although Arkham Batman would still be a bad choice for canonicity. Not ideal but definitely possible. My preference would be minimizing the humour, still killing all the JL and all that but try to capture the emotion that i was honestly most attached to throughout the story which is "this is so damn tragic". It was like infinity war but without the redo. Like the worst timeline, but still keep the villains we play as bad guys who are honestly okay with getting revenge on the JL. But i still liked the Wonder woman respect(too much with the actually mourning her) and i would have enjoyed them reflecting a bit (maybe not boomerang) on what they sacrificed for everyone. To simplify my rambling, the JL are now unsavable and they are menaces who need to be stopped, the Squad would be forced into taking them out, with parts of them enjoying payback but still regret that it all turned out this way (even if no one could do anything about it), some of them could have turned their life around somewhat but forced to use their powers for hurting again like shark and deadshot maybe even Quinn.
God damn fuck this game so hard, what the fuck. Why would you have the JL AND NOT MAKE A JL GAME! god damn

The absolute abandonment of all plot threads and characterization established in a 4 game-encompassing universe is astounding. The sheer lack of care for the story of this game in favor of using the "Arkham" name and IP to boost sales is incredible. Ive seen dozens of comments from fans offering their own ideas and alternatives to what this game should've been, ALL markedly better than the shallow, finaleless narrative we got. We could've had the Arkham Batman as an ally instead of wonder woman, that would make sense in the Arkhamverse no? Why its decided these 4 r the most up for what should be the impossible task of killing the JLA is beyond me. And if ur gonna kill the JLA, they could at least get flashy dramatic death sequences instead of pulling an "ANDY'S COMING" and instantly sandbagging.
Superman would've chosen to handle the negotiations alone, maybe have GL tag along but the whole team? Trusting and good natured as big blue is...very naive and foolish to send the entire team. They could've wrote him better here.

2 voice acting legends, Nolan North and Kevin Conroy, both wasted in a game that no one asked for. Like how did WB and Rocksteady not even think for a second that they could have just made a Justice League game instead. Like the interactions bt Clark and Bruce were just pure gold.

WB’s insistence on pushing Harley Quinn (and the broader Suicide Squad) is astounding and annoying. She was never that popular. The Birds of Prey movie was a weird choice. It just seems like they wanted a character who could be DC’s version of Deadpool, with similar style humor. And the fact that she’s a female Joker helps.
