Cant believe my boat has finally made its tv debut lol. Loved the drone shot. You chose the perfect night rob as the river fished exceptionally well. I personally had 11 fish on opposite side of wier. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the video and will be giving them new baits a go for sure. If theres any bait testing jobs going im in lol👍..
Gents... I've got no reason to fib about weights and it was me that weighed it. The scales were showing 12.07 hence why I was quite happy with it. We all thought it was heavy for it's size as was referred to in the comments.
we got on there after a bank holiday weekend 1a to 9 were empty so we had 18 hours to ourselves. neither of us had caught a barbel before so we were buzzing. peg 1a was underwater so i cast up the side of the wall to my left. 4 massive bites 4 carp to 24lb not 1 barbel between us and we were on our dream pegs without having to book. nash ia krill bagged the carp and lovely they were but we tried everything to land a whisker and blanked. just bream and another carp from peg 5. go figure
I'm not usually one for commenting when I doubt a weight. But that wasnt 12lb 7oz, and you guys know that! It was hardly a double! The 11 pounder was obviously bigger! You are only lying to yourselves, and must think we will believe anything! Disappointing attitude from such a popular bait company 👎 no need to lie to sell your product if it is as good as you say. I Would also have liked to of seen you catching barbel on a tricky water with it, to prove it's worth, not on a prolific venue where 20 plus fish is common place. Again, disappointed.
Hi Ben, as you can see in the video, the guys were just as surprised as Rob at the weight of the first barbel, hence the 'have you zeroed the scales' comment from Dave. We can only go on what our anglers tell us in a lot of instances. They would have no reason to make up weights of fish. We never created this video to sell our baits it was originally created and aired on BT Sport for Rob's on the Bank TV series. We have simply posted it up and added some bait info near the end to show what they were using. The purpose of doing it at colly weir was simply to catch some fish for the camera and have some fun. If you look on our channel you will come across videos of our team fishing on more tougher waters for barbel and other species. :)
Never 12.7. Just never and a fisherman that's meant to be so well accomplished, he should have been able to see that and reweighted it after checking if it was actually zeroed properly. something went wrong there and its clear. I have photos of proper 12.7 barbel and bigger, from Collingham and they are completely different looking fish. All much longer, bigger shoulders, brutish looking beasts that are also more bronze, this one had the look of a younger fish, with lighter scales that is indicative of the smaller fish at Collingham.
wow you caught barbel in the easiest barbel peg in the country. this isn't were you should be doing barbel vids as most people will never get the chance to fish this peg. this is just pointless vid that no one will learn anything from. The weir at Collingham isn't realistic at all.
Great venue..some great catches... the boat against the wall looks nice in the back drop...well done boys...
i might get some of them fox scales 🤣
What kind of sorcery is this, the more the time passes, the younger Rob looks... Barbells are great fighters 👍
😂

The other 11 pounder was bigger !!
Pro trick : you can watch series on flixzone. I've been using it for watching a lot of movies recently.
@Rhys Tatum definitely, have been using Flixzone for months myself :)
@Rhys Tatum Yea, I have been using flixzone for since december myself =)
Excellent How heavy does the method feeder need to be for the river Trent there
Some nice little barble
i dont think that was 12 o7 you should off showed the scales to the camera.
Can see my van in the background... didn’t one of your lads snap his bait spoon 😂 I seen somebody do it over there before
12.7 😂
That barbel must have eaten 2kg of boilies before he caught it.

I thought I'll check the comments, and it's not just me thats never 12.7
Это был фидер или карпфишинг?)

12lb🤣🤣🤣 full ov it.
Got to say it Rob. Your scales are reading back to front. I wouldnt even give you 7lb 12oz for that fish. Woffle and sales pitch. Wot a shame. 👎
