    Nice parts , the only thing missing here from Schelle was their shock pistons ,they seem to be better than the stock ones . I also just installed the Type 1 steering arm and just wow .. you will love this .
    hope that you will notice improvements on your car Rich .. Please report after you tried them ..

      Alex R installed the positions right after the first running video! What a great improvement! I got to run this the day before the video aired and yes, the type 1's are so noticeably quicker.

      Pistons...

      Yes I installed the Schelle machined pistons inside my B64D and I prefer them to the stock ones. I don`t know what kind of setup is needed for OCRC but I imagined that 1.6 front and 1.7 rear seems to be the norm . I changed my front oil to 35 instead of the 37.5 and for my track and I prefer it , I will also adventure outside with the B64D , I need to figure out how the car will react to an outdoor track.. Please make a video about the new bodies for the B64D I think I will order the Pro-line one .. But The Jconcept "S2" Illuzion is also interesting maybe I will order both .. it's a tough call .. when you can`t see them in person ..

    Nice video. How do you like the Maclan car stand? The carbon fiber is pretty bling!

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  7 лет назад

      My favorite stand....and I have owned many! The rubber feet are great and the looks of the carbon is awesome. It's the perfect height for all 1/10th and many 1/8th

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  7 лет назад

      No links yet...I only see the JEC versions, but they have weak plastic link mounts. Vanquish will be the way to go when they release them. I do have a couple of soldering videos: ruclips.net/video/sXDruxcncvE/видео.html

    I'm new to rc and really interested in racing so how would I go about setting up my buggy for the clay track? You got a video on track set up? As far as suspension etc?
    you're one of the first people I subscribed to when I got into the hobby not to long ago, your videos are great! I probably have watched every one of them!

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  7 лет назад +1

      Thanks BigMike! I'm def not a set up Guru. I'm currently using Kurt Wenger's set up for OCRC on my B64d - He's the owner of Schelle - and know's his stuff! Just ran this yesterday and it was pretty good...

  • @francistiu9728
    @francistiu9728 7 лет назад

    You should put mip pucks. And is your center gear plastic?

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  7 лет назад

      Francis Tiu I'm running a MOD motor....MIP only recommends for 4w Stock (13.5t) running stock internal gears

    I just bought a B64 last night, about to build it, i noticed you shaved the nipples off ;) for the body mount...im going to try just not using them at all and just going with velcro. Are those posts necessary to hold the body up or can i just do without them?

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  7 лет назад

      Most people shave off the body post - and leave the flat spot for the body to ride on. Simple Velcro on the sides work great

    • @kamcradic2171
      @kamcradic2171 6 лет назад

      Get 3/4 inch thick 3m velcro. I've been using it since I started so 16 years ago.

    hey @TheRcNetwork do you ever think that you will get a team associated f6 just wondering btw great vid

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  7 лет назад

      Probably not on the F6. It looks cool....but not too many on easily available on road tracks here in Socal (there's the Tamiya track....but you have to run Tamiya most days)

  • @dylanchadderton1
    @dylanchadderton1 7 лет назад

    i put the +1 schelle acerkman arms on my B64 and quickly took them right off way too much steering and nervousness on the front end, oh well

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  7 лет назад

      Dylan Chadderton they are noticeably quicker....on my second outing, I forgot I had them on....but it's a tighter more technical track layout too

  • @baddogs16
    @baddogs16 7 лет назад

    is there a weight saving with switching the rear plastic hubs to the schelle aluminum hubs

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  7 лет назад

      Nope, weight penalty, but more adjustability and durability

  • @alexlyu3655
    @alexlyu3655 7 лет назад

    What size is the battery? I ordered one but I don't know the size.

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  7 лет назад +1

      +Alex Lyu it's a "shorty" sized Lipo. Anything from a 3500-5000mah will fit....the strap is adjustable up and down
