Great Job. Real straight forward tutorial. I did notice and please correct me if I'm wrong. But when you are showing the procedure to set up your file for logging.... When you went to the RPM Max Setting on the PE Delay section, Your setting was already set at zero and you changed it to 8000 RPM So that it would not turn on? Isn't the default setting normally set to 8000 RPM to be enabled and to disable you would set it down to Zero? Description: [ECM] 44450 - FA WOT Delay RPM Max: Above this RPM, delta WOT Delay is Disabled. Aside from this... Awesome job and thanks for sharing. Take Care.
Very helpfull. Thanks. And a question: Why "Multiple by % half" and not by entire percent? Is it because you want several steps to reach final values in order to prevent "overshoot" or there is another reason? I suspect the fuel mass is already calculated from the injector pulse width, so it already contains a correction in it - am I right?
I'm having a hard time finding the injector size difference. Let's say it's 10% bigger. Do I multiply the table by 1.10 to increase the injectors. Or because there bigger do I decrease them. I know logging will fine tune them. Just looking for a starting point. I have a stock manifolds cat delete 6.4 intake with a Cia 14 ram 5.7. I learn a lot from you and your videos.
Hi I have a 2010 Challenger with PSC1 pro Charger 10 psi long tube headers walbro fuel pump car ran good until installed FIC 1000 injectors now it stumbles at 2500 rpm wot I used fic spread sheet for injector settings I have read on hp forum a lot of people have had this problem but no one has a fix can you please help hate to think I wasted my money on new injectors i'm at 95% duty on old ones Thanks
I tried this method on my charger today. Boosted 3.6. And it just didn't seem to be right. The numbers in scanner would be mostly negative. So I paste them in the 2 tables and then reset adaptives. Go drive and log. Not the cells that had negative digits are now positive. I kept making the changes and the numbers just kept flipping between negative and positive. Thoughts?
I just installed 1000cc injectors, 392ci supercharged, and cammed. Logging VE the cruise area is looking good, but at idle it’s -25 also getting codes for bank1 and 2 rich, it seems no matter what I change in the VE it does not effect to fuel trims at idle. Should I be working on the injector table? When I log the injector idle and cruise is the same cell. It seems idle and cruise is using the bottom 4 cells and decel cells above, I have used the injector data from FIC. Fuel trims were good before the injector swap.
I have a 14 ram 5.7l. Have the latest vcm suite and the mpvi3. I'm getting ready to do a 6.4 manifold swap with the 6.4 injectors. Ive been through every tab and can't find injector control. Do I need a different version. I'm at a loss
Would you be able to do a video of this on a 2018 charger 5.7l. When I go into my tune file it doesn't show anything related to injector pulse width. Im new to tuning but I'm learning and trying to figure out how to tune my 5.7l on hellcat injectors so I can run e85.
I'm on the middle of tuning my injector pulse width vs fuel mass and inverse of this If I don't have a fuel mass table anywhere to choose from for making a new tab, what else could I use so I can copy and paste my injector pulse width vs fuel mass
Great video. You must have a similar hemi cause I noticed almost all settings you had were the same. I saw Deceleration cutoff on yours was @68 some reason tuner has mine set at 129. Is there a reason they would do that? They also have my FA enrichment set to 0 when I have cats. Thanks again for the info I'm gonna fix couple things that I think your video helped me with
@@Saavagerandy would either one of those make the idle have a small up and down after the car would warm up. It's OK at start cold, but after warming up I put in neutral and idles almost like when a tps sensor would go bad.
Similar starting point. Take new injectors divided by original injectors. That number will be your injector tables multiplier, from there you multiple the top two of the fuel mass injector tables. Then you copy that data and go to second table. Right click on the row column and click edit Labels and post the data in there. From there you’ll have to log to dial them on
RecklessMotorsportsUSA ok I’ll play around with it tomorrow, see I found a thread that kinda showed how to convert the numbers and Then it also didnt tell you where to enter the numbers or how to go from there. So I was completely lost. And I’m going from already modified sized injectors (6.4) to 1000cc btw thanks 🙏
Awesome job bro! The bestt! Make more hemi tuning videossssss
thank you, this was very helpful.. my injector data down low(.5ms) is sketchy and i'm now able to adjust it .. making progress
thank for posting this informative video
This is great! Really appreciate your videos. They are very helpful.

Also have you messed around with the neural network trainer and do you tune the vvt.

It’s to prevent overshot yes
when you setup your layout for this factor.. your function box has data.. [50155.155], when we do it.. it is blank? reason for that data in your video

I'm wondering the same thing, ever find out?
I found its about 63. If you multiply your table by 1.6. Then log it from there
I'm sorry. Multiply by .63

How close is it to zero anytime you’re + or - within 4 the changes have to be very small

I find fuel trim data never works for me the way they claim it does

It’s pulsewdith under the fuel tables, otherwise under view you need to change to advance view

So under fuel tab you will see two things that are opposite of each other and that’s for your injectors they are mirror images
@@Saavagerandy do you by chance know what its named under? The only thing I'm seeing under the fuel tab is the stoichiometry

Yes
So weird question but let’s say in my case I don’t have cats do I still need to turn back on the FA power in Enrichment?
Nope that’s only for cats

A lot of people shut off dcfo I don’t unless I’m tuning that requires it, and some tuners shut of FA enrichment on every vehxile

Sounds more like issues with tuning on the idle airflow side of things
@@Saavagerandy any videos you have that could help me figure out how to fix?
How do you convert injectors? I got some 1000cc injectors but idk how to convert the data. Ive only tuned LS

If you scroll through my videos I have a video on injectors for dodges
RecklessMotorsportsUSA will do man thanks, do u actually do tuning also?
Yes I do anywhere from 5-20 remote tubes a week
What's considered good for VE + or - 5?
Technically yes I prefer 3
