Depends on the prices. In current market the nvidia options (4070S and the Ti version) are overall better value than what amd offers. Amd needs much lower prices to be attractive because they have too many downfalls. 800$ gpu and RT off is a joke.
AMD, what the fuck is going on there?
crazy how 7900xtx prob would lose to 4060 ti in raytracing
It wouldnt but it could beat GRE in some titles..
RTX 4070 Ti S > RX 7900 XTX, in value. Nvidia is beating the crap out of AMD, I wonder how AMD can get 40-50% of the market with just up to mid-range GPUs.
ps4 and xbox has midrange amd
The problem is, Nvidia released Super series for the same AMD

Ray tracing with 40 fps 😖 how u play a game a 40 fps it’s 2024 now
bro is comparing a budget nGREEDia card to the best AMD card
800 is "budget" to you?
I have both gpus and a 3060ti,3070ti 7900xtx is sapphire I could tell you yes In a few RT games the 4070ti is awesome but out of the 80 plus games I own the 4070ti does not come close. Some of my games the 7900xtx show double the 4070ti where it can lag at 4k unless using DLSS this is at 4k I play at. If you like playing native at 4k 7900 XTX is a great gpu I say 95 percent of my games for 4k the 7900 XTX kills the 4070ti . If using upscailers I would recommend the 4070ti usually around 1440p it really shines. On my 4k LG Oled I use my 7900 XTX. Favorite Games fallout 4 highly modded/Skyrim SE highly modded 2k mod list 800hrs on steam/Cyberpunk/BDO
Of course the XTX is better at 4k than the 4070tiS, but that's why the 4080S exists or the 4090 if you want max performance. XTX almost makes no sense at all, only fanboys, benchmarkers and super enthusiasts buy that card really. At least for gaming. For a normal 4k gamer it makes no sense really.
@@adriancioroianu1704 it does for me not sure but since i got mine for a good price its been the best since it came out its been great gpu. Like I said i actually own these GPUs if you don't own them maybe give them a chance I'm a Nividia and AMD owner that's just my thoughts.
@@NephilimGodMusic When the XTX came out, the 4080S didn't exist and the 4080 was too expensive (2 years ago, if you were too poor for a 4090). But since the 4080S came out and the price dropped, the XTX makes no sense at all, unless, as i said, you are a fanboy, a benchmarker or a collector. Amd should drop the prices for the entire lineup, they are in a bad position. Their products overall are bad value at current prices, even though i acknowledge the prices of all the card are inflated, its always relative value to current market.
@adriancioroianu1704 There is another problem - Cheapest 4080S price is equal to most expensive XTX price. If people want to hear massive coli wine when they started their pc first time I'd say go for 4080S. But small desk owner like me won't accept that kind of treatment from Nvidia.
According to techpowerup data at 4K and US market today:
7900 XTX 24GB|| 91.3 FPS || 900$ = 9.85$ per frame
7900 XT 20GB || 76.0 FPS || 680$ = 8.94$ per frame
4070 TI S 16GB| 75.5 FPS || 780$ = 10.33$per frame
4070Super 12GB| 63.6 FPS || 590$ = 9.27$ per frame
7900 GRE 16GB | 63.8 FPS || 530$ = 8.30$ per frame
7800 XT 16GB || 58.4 FPS || 470$ = 8.04$ per frame
7700 XT 12GB || 48.0 FPS || 380$ = 7.91$ per frame
The best value card between these is: RX 7800 XT
And RX 7900 XT for 4K
@@rlifeh ezcept you take you into consideration just one metric which makes this table very poor and irrelevant

Just get the 7900 gre and you are set for the next 2 to 3 years of 1440p gameplay. You can get a better experience with a great 1440p monitor than with a shitty 4k one.
Pixel densitiy isn't everything.

AMD is attractive in mid tier range, 7800xt or 7900gre, better a 7800xt instead of a 4070 and better a 7900gre instead of a 4070s
Depends on the prices. In current market the nvidia options (4070S and the Ti version) are overall better value than what amd offers. Amd needs much lower prices to be attractive because they have too many downfalls. Their features are significantly inferior, the power draw is higher for the same class and the raster performance is not high enough to push you to a next level of refresh rate or smth like that. So they don't have many arguments in their favor at all.

@@badwifisimulator9318Personally, for a little more than 100€ I don't mind too much, as long as you can afford a component that costs more than 600€ you have the financial means to add 100€.
