The looks on your face while eating at the expensive place were priceless! That seems like a once or twice place to visit for the quality. The cheap place definitely seems like an everyday or couple times a week place. I love me some Korean food (Bulgogi is my jam), but I have never had Korean BBQ. I am intrigued. That tartar definitely looks like something that may not pass in the U.S. Ha. But I'd try it. And all them sides coupled with the meat that you cook at your table. That looked delicious. I need to search out for a Korean BBQ place now.

Your lettuce leaf wrap was weak. You need to put a chunk of rice, some Gimchi, Korean salad ( not even called that), Double to Quadruple the meats with some sesame oil, salt and pepper combo sauce and then some Samjang. All in one bite otherwise it shows you aren't as badass you make yourself sound.
