Der intelligente und geniale Dirigent leitet das ausgezeichnete Orchester in verschiedenen Tempi und mit effektiver Dynamik. Echt hörenswert!

The English were masters in this genre, weren't they? Even Elgar wrote wonderful light works. I love the Wand of Youth suite.

Reminds very much of Dvořák, both the New World Symphony and Slavonic Dances, but also of the Viennese waltz and operetta.
