I have been working on IT for the last 25+ yrs. I just read ur 1st 2 lines and provide comments.
There is no age barrier and u will face difficult initial days that's is all.
I will give one eg. One of my relative was working in mechanical field and he wanted to switch job. He undergone training on SAP MM. somehow he got into start up at age of 46. He worked for 1-2 yrs in start up. He got offer in Infosys.
There is nothing working in doing EC and get into ever green field.
U can rock in EC if u r really intersterested in this field..

    Hello mam
I am 2021 EEE graduate. Now I want to learn vlsi course in a private institute.
    VLSI has 4 courses
    1.Physical design
    2.Analog layout design
    3.Asic design and verification
    4.RTl coding and FPGA design
I planned to learn physical design. But some people are saying that there is no scope and placement for physical design. And I am not interested in the coding part. So, from the 4 courses which will be best? Which one is having future scope?
    Please clarify me.

But one question mam nothing wrong in applying for vlsi startups but there are service agreement of 3-4years and huge compensation fee if we break employment bond these things ruins...!!!
No doubt the software, resources vlsi startups use are expensive but it somehow grills to Agree huge employment bond and service agreement

If you are seeking work-life balance and a stress-free career, this field may not be the right fit for you. The demand for excellence is high, and we have little tolerance for mediocrity or complacency, especially from fresh engineers.
Your resume should speak for itself. In many organizations, the number of projects has either stagnated or declined, leading to increased competition among internal teams and subcontracting companies. The expectations are higher than ever, and the semiconductor industry has significantly evolved over the past six years.

Mam, I discontinued my previous bachelor's degree midway. And planning to do a new degree in electronics which I think I will graduate in 31 age i.e like 2030. Considering my age on graduation, can I get a job in the industry? My plan is to do BS Electronics Systems from IIT Madras. Please guide me mam, because I'm in this dilemma about choosing Data Science degree or Electronic degree.
As far as my interest goes, I'm equally interested in both, when I was in my school I was very passionate about electricals and was messing around with them a lot. In 12th I was interest in game programming i.e C language.
Please tell whether the electronics industry will give a job to a 31 age no-experience guy if he does all the right things well, like resume building, projects, skills, soft skills and all other things you mentioned in your roadmap video, and also considering the guy is graduating with top cgpa from IIT Madras.
Sorry for writing big paragraph mam, thank you in advance.
Edit: Just finished watching this video, understood that I should try to join a startup if possible. Still anxious about my age ,🫤 Please either give me a positive hopeful push, or give me a harsh reality check. I appreciate both 🙏
