@19:07 I start to explain how things might have gone if the opponent in the Lab had not quit out. I was a little bit all over the place and mentioned swing with Leader but it was Locked down. Just for the sake of clarity and after re-analyzing the situation, I think even with rusher we can't win as RY Sabo because of the Blocker, Leader Effect, and 1 Life on the Bonney. Long story short, the Bonney should have done what it was doing, eating up the board and keeping the Sabo locked down because then it couldn't even get us to the Dragon next turn. Then, we have 2 Characters on the board that can attack (no Leader from Doffy). We swing with Karasu for 7-8k and reducing Bonney's Power to 4k, they just eat it to go to zero Life and they rest down our only other Attacker. At which point, a Rush card still could not have saved us because of the Basil. Sorry about the confusion.
Thanks for the review VV!!! I learned a lot here. I was the RY Sabo. I felt like I lost the fight even though they left and now seeing the comments, I probably did. Didn't know why the Bonney left, but any advice from the comments would be great guys. Trying to get really good with Sabo! Thanks :D 🎩🔥
I think the reason I win a lot with Bonney is people don’t expect me to play very aggressive. I usually take the first life or two depending on what’s in hand. I’ve even started dropping cards like cavendish or carrot on turn 3 if I go first and pass up urouge. He has become a bit of a maybe I’ll play him. Mid game a lot of times I’m dropping Pedro if my opponent still has a board then either rosinante into carrot or bonney typically or 9c Zoro. I played a kaido that took out my Zoro. I work the board a lot and play the long game if I have to on decks like doffy or zooro. Decks like st14 Luffy can be a bit of a nightmare for any deck I play including the mirror lol but I play fairly aggressive with “slow” decks and it usually produces good results.
Had a few looks into this leader, most recently considering the 'foxy package' that Reiju runs. Not as good as in that deck (its nice that some foxy cards are seeing play atleast 😂) but getting an op08 pudding out early to reclaim don lost to leader ability or a bonclay to ramp is pretty good! Just not sure whether the decks wants to play aggressive or for the late game. The leader loves to race for game as start at 5 life and swinging 7k late game for free each turn is outstanding, but 8-10 drops in red are so good right now!
Yeah same, not sure if i should play to ramp and drop big bodies or just rush and swing wide with 7k-s. I kind of prefer the aggresive variant since its unique in this deck.
That lab game was wild. I think I'm just so used to you running that killer RY Sabo deck that other versions just seem kinda.... wonky? But, also, as. primarily green player WHAT WAS THAT 4K TO LIFE TURN AND NO BLOCKER!?
I think it’s so funny that enel even as a “tier 2” deck can still realistically place high in a tournament. My brother is an absolute beginner at this game and I gave him my enel deck and he’s probably got about a 50% win rate. He just stays consistent through each set. I think katakuri does too. I made an egghead katakuri and egghead Yamato deck and they both actually play really well. I’m sure it’s just that yellow is just always nasty with life manipulation, ko and trigger effects but still.
That would be interesting to present the difference in build of RY sabo between east and west. And also why they build it this way and why we play it the other way ( metawise and card meta counter wise)
The Bonney wins the lab game no matter what even wit dragon. Leader was frozen under doffy effect. Also whoever said it was prolly timer running out for Bonney is most likely right or the Bonney just got tired of playing bc they knew they had it. (Or potentially they were afraid of double kid killer which wins the game)
I agree with you that east builder for ry sabo with revo build kinda slow, n i still using the zoro n kk rather then 5c ace with baby, from southeast asia btw, ;)
I was just trying out this leader on the sim minutes before this video came out! Untapped potential Im telling ya man, once you hit 3 life your a monster on the field. -Goya

THIS IS JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR

I've been asking discord for an 09 list. Hell yeah!!
I think my OP09 list needs some work, but it's at least something to mess around with, a decent starting point for now.

I'm excited to watch Eustass "Captain" Kidd. I can't believe that Nico Robin isn't even on the Tier list for the East 😢
Yo yo my guy vivi bro love the deck ill have to play it some you know i have the deck irl build hahahah
I wonder if, in the lab video, the Bonney just got disconnected or if they ran out of time...
the bonney player and the shanks player remembered they left the stove on
Safety first

"Useless Captain Mid" ? In Shanks Meta
I AM HYPED UP !
pretty sure the bonney ran out of time on the time clock
That’s what I was thinking too
