This home was once beautiful with detail. By painting out all the woodwork the detail recedes and it ends up looking like an expensive-ish modern home. When you paint out the woodwork what you get is the fabulous MDF look. Tastelessness.
Where's all the natural wood that is keeping with this style home???? It's beautiful but the original character has been whitewashed away with painting all the natural wood trim of the time it was built... such a shame. That's the whole character of a craftsman style home. That's my opinion, anyway....
Beautiful old house. Painting all of that gorgeous woodwork white and adding canned lights with colored LEDs is a travesty. The owner should have bought a new house and left that gem to someone who appreciates it.
TOO MUCH PAINT !!!!! Craftsmen were all about WOOD. The grain of a beautiful piece of wood, as individual as a fingerprint ! All this detail has been lost. This looks like a remodel by Kelly-Moore or Sherwin Williams ! The whole point has been missed here. They just didn't get it...
