Many thanks, even 7month after, this helped me to play some vr minecraft, and honestly after beating the dragon in vanila on pc, just enjoying the cities we built, villages we discovered and hils with vast landscapes is really great

Everything works perfectly, since you can see that it is working on the monitor, but on the headset there is only a Steam VR screen saying "loading", is there any way to fix it?

You can play on aternos servers online with friends and they don't need the mod, which is great
So I set up the mod, and it works, but for some reason I see the game on my desktop on VR mode, I can move my head in VR, but on the VR headset itself I don’t see anything, I just see the steam VR loading screen when you’re launching a game.

Everytime I launch vr, it always crashes, never when Im flatscreen, only vr
it wont open vivecraft it is this version of vivecraft is a mod and doesn't have an installer please place this file inside your mods folder. even tho its is in the mods folder
I am a little confused with steamvr. When you are in the steamvr environment, does it just automatically connect to minecraft or do you need to press something in steamvr?
Once you’re in steamvr, launch vivecraft and click the vr button in the main menu

do you have the fabric version of the mod, as well as the fabric API? also make sure that all the versions match up
ive got a quest 1 and quest 3,i tried it for both but the same problem happened,when i click "VR mode" it flashes black and white constantly then eventually resets everything,at first i thought that was a quest 3 problem since right at this point in time,quest 2 is more developed than quest 3 and can actually run it easily

1.24 is the latest, just download the version you need for the fabric api and vivecraft

Hey, I wanted to play VR on the server. I connect my Quest 2 to PC via cable and launch SteamVR. The problem is that in the goggles, the game stutters when moving, even though it displays smoothly on the monitor. Any advice? (RTX 3070Ti Gaming X Trio + 32GB RAM)

Hey man, I'm curious... Since 1.20.2 came out a few days ago, do I have to wait for a new compatible vivecraft release to play MP with my non-VR 1.20.2 buddy? Just decided to get into it, but I think I chose an awkward time between releases (latest version's 1.20.1 on the site). I'm cool with waiting, just not sure how many days after official updates they tend to release vivecraft updates. Figured you'd know way better than me. Thanks in advance.
Yeah you’re gonna have to wait for 1.20.2 to release unfortunately, hopefully it’ll release fairly soon though

Every time I try to turn on the VR mode I get this message:
Render setup failed: Hmd Not Found Presence Failed (126)
VR provider: OpenVR_LWJGL
Any idea how to fix it
Make sure you have steamvr open and try again

It works! but there is a glitch where u cant go anywhere, it just runs in place...
When i installed the vivecraft thing you told me to, it didnt show up the fabric part
i opened minecraft with the correct fabric and there is no vr option
Make sure you downloaded the fabric version of the mod

Make sure you launched the fabric loader in the Minecraft launcher, if it still doesn’t work let me know
you can extract your files if it do not say "executable jar file"
idk how to discribe it to be understandable but when i try this and launch the game with steam vr everything and fullscreen it it wont full screen on my vr air link like it still thinks i am on the desktop and still gives me mouse and stuff and its like windowed and the actual game is in the background and every time i try to go into the background the game just dosnt care about inputs anymore like at all so i only can play it in window mode which first takes away all vr eperience and second makes me montion sick bc the cursur still spins me around but faster then normal

When I launch the Fabric, I don't get a switch that allows me to toggle to VR mode. How do I fix this? I made sure to launch the fabric.
Did you download everything for the correct Minecraft version? Also make sure that you have the fabric version of vivecraft and not forge
If I have a server and I put the mods in does the client need them for others to the person in vr?

im trying to do this exact method but every time i try i get: "VR Init Error Render setup failed: Cannot read field "SetTrackingSpace" because "org.lwjgl.openvr.OpenVR.VRCompositor" is null VR provider: OpenVR_LWJGL" when i press the vr on button on the main menu. I have no idea how to fix this. any tips?

Yeah, just download the forge version from the website in the description

No, it only depends on what mod loader you want to use it on. (And obviously the forge version doesn't require Fabric API)@@CresDrago

Depends if you’re using an oculus headset, the oculus app isn’t supported on macOS but supposedly SteamVR is. I’d look and see if you can find a guide for vr on mac

@@jaethabeast there’s a way to do it on bedrock but it’s slightly different, you can probably find a tutorial for it somewhere

Make sure that the Minecraft window is in focus, just use your mouse and click it once you’re in vr mode
