Masterpiece by a Top Notch artist
A top notch artist, Todd. And a band of top notch musicians. The rhythm section of Tony Sales and Hunt Sales is adding so much to what Todd's created. Listen for the bass, and then to the drums and see how Todd's other instruments and his vocals connect. How they are united by the Sales' unity. Good spot GSalvadoreno17. In fact this Todd Rundgren's tune was recorded 15 years before Purple Rain. Also, guitar solo sound in Purple Rain is inspired by Todd Rundgren's psychedelic era playing. In a few words, Todd was an inspiration for Prince.
Prince is a well known Todd fan. I like that people notice the touches in Prince's music!
