I never even thought of listening to country music in all my life, and im almost 40 years old. That is until I heard this man and Drake White and started digging into their music. i decided real quick just from Stapleton and White that i wasn't letting the fact that it is classified as COUNTRY music stop me from experiencing it. It's MUSIC... Real music. When it hits you in the soul the way this does, and you find yourself on a mission to try and hear everything they have done, who cares what genre it is. It's music. It's real. It's f****** awesome.
I agree. I feel compelled to mention though, I think most of Drake White's radio stuff isn't nearly as good as the versions I heard him sing in concert. Not sure if the record companies made him change it or if it was his choice or what. Chris Stapleton never disappoints, in my opinion.

I cannot stop watching this man. I'm obsessed. His voice speaks to my soul. He seems to soothe me, in such a guttural uncommon way. He resonates within me, on a level I can't even explain. I cannot wait to see him in person. I think I will faint. His soul. He gives us everything. All that he's got. This is so rare.
