Tretinoin helps a separated nail heal? Wow! That’s awesome! This happens to me every summer and now I finally know how to fix it. Thank-you 🙏🙏🙏

Well, it might! Please let me know if it helped. Why is your toenail separating like this?

@@TheSalonLife My guess is that I wear polish on my toenails for too long without a break, and also because the toenail gets damaged through sports (micro traumas to the area when I exercise outdoors in the summer) - I'll be taking much better care of my toenails this year!

Ask your local Gehwol distributor. Are you in USA?

Okay, so I bought the nippers. Cut right back, used Tretanoin on that area most nights and it does seem to be working. I still have a way to go, probably a good few months, but 🤞🏼

I have been dealing with this for quite a while and a couple of my fingernails. And my podiatrist who treated me for a toenail infection that healed said that I could put ciclopirox on the nail. Well, I don’t remember how he suggested to apply it. My question is should I cut off the bubbled up nail and then apply that lacquer all over the nail bed or should I just apply on the nail without cutting off the part that has bubbled up? I Had assumed the reason why my nail just didn’t attach back to the nail bed as a grew was because I also have eczema and my hands are too dry so before I buy a bunch of over-the-counter products that would moisturize my nails, I came across your video when looking up the lacquer and thought I would ask. Thank you.

I went straight to my bathroom for the Tretanoin 🙏🏼 By the way, do you think theFeryes ingrown nail clipper tool would work to cut the separated nail away?

No, the Feryes clippers as much as I love them they might be too bulky for such small area.
