These kind of pedicures take me about 1h 15 min and I charge 40€ (21% tax included) I'm located in Lloret de Mar, Girona, Spain. more info.... this is one of my clients who comes every 2 months. The damaged area that is growing out I think it's due to client buffing the nails and wearing polish for 2 months does not help ;( About chronic onycholysis: Many of my clients experience it and they have had it for a while so it's very difficult to correct it unless they are willing to: - have the lifted part of the nail trimmed every 2 weeks - change the shoes so the toes are not squished (the cause of this kind of onycholysis is improper shoes!) - go without polish for 12-18 months Cutting the nails out once without changing the above will not correct the issue. I have to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE the exfoliation disks. I use them with my e-file set to reverse and about 20,000 RPM. Mine are black/medium and I use the medium most of the time. You do such GREAT nail care. I would love to find a technician in the Chicago area that does the same skilled types of Mani pedi in my area. Keep up the great work. 😊💅
I am in Chicago too...would love to find someone too! I stopped going to salons and do them myself because they don't know what they are doing. But I would love to find someone
Thank you so much. Please show us more videos about education on onycholisis. My family and I are in need of this kind of teaching. I love your videos!
Hi, Anna, from Tennessee! I love your videos and have learned so much since I found you on RUclips. I have been dealing with peeling nails for a while and have been following your advice regarding warm jojoba oil soaks. My nails (in my opinion) look reasonably healthy, considering what all I have put them through. I need to know if you or anyone knowledgeable in this area could tell me if I have caused some recent nail separations by over filing my nails. I DO NOT file (buff?) the tops of my nails EVER. I only file the free edge, and only with a glass file. I filed my nails down to the skin recently, so much so that the next day,I had hard skin sticking out where the free edge used to be. Two days ago, I removed my nail polish and discovered that the nail looked funny. Your videos helped me to realize that the nails had separated from the nail beds. I trimmed them way back I guess I have to give up my beloved polish until they grow out. Any advice or comments would be appreciated. Can I continue the jojoba oil and warm soaks while I wait for this mess to grow out? Thanks in advance!❤
Superb video. Need to do all that to myself. I was wondering, how can you be sure you're not touching the surface of the nail plate when you're using the efile to remove the cuticle and dead skin?
Love your videos. Could you please tell me what kind of nail file you use in the video where you reshape the woman’s nails to looker longer and less wide? Thank you
So happy to know you're wearing barefoot shoes!! They're not very popular and some people seem to think they're weird, unfortunately. But I've never had more comfortable shoes in my life, not to mention they're so healthy for the feet. Pozdrawiam i życzę wszystkiego dobrego🤍
Hi Anna! Can you do a video about japanese manicure? I see kits for at home japanese manicure called P-Shine everywhere and I don’t know if they would be beneficial or harmful to the nails if done without filing the surface of the nails or just lightly buffing? 😊
What is the name of the tool that removes all the gunk from under the toe? @11:26. Also, about 90% of your links are not working for me. I am in the U.S. Is that why?
I've never heard of barefoot shoes before so I went on a little Google adventure. While they indicate the toe box is wider the ones I looked at seemed to hit very close to the top of the toe area. I developed runners toe in both big toes after wearing the wrong sneakers and walking in Paris. Lost both big toenails and am about 4 months in to nail regrowth. I need to make sure this doesn't happen the next time I travel. Both big toes sit up higher than the other toes. Any thoughts? Also, have you done any videos about nail regrowth after nail loss? Not finding many photos for comparison.
Hello! Thank you for watching :) Alcohol based disinfecting spray. Later on urea foam to soften the skin a bit. At the end after the filing I wipe the feet with hot towels. :)
Yes, it's Kaleidoscope :) Barcelona is about 1h 30 min from Lloret. There is a bus that goes from Barcelona directly to Lloret almost every hour in high season. It costs about 11€. The bus stop is about 10 min walk from my studio :)
Seeing the size of the brush, I would bet it’s the OPI Repair Mode treatment. It’s for helping the nails not to break or peel off as much. She made a series about this product, which seems to have helped another client with nails peeling off her hands, over the course of 4~5 weeks. I just bought the treatment myself (€25) for my toenails, which look a little similar to the ones in this video.
Ps. Cuticle Police here :) I didn't push back the cuticle. I nudged back the skin fold and then I removed the cuticle using e-file. If I pushed both cuticle and skin fold back then I would have to dig the cuticle out from underneeth the skin fold. It's so important to know the difference :)
What a lot of work - €40 is not much for this. Sad, that the client doesn't appreaciate her nice feet. She could go easily without polish with her healthy and not deformed toes and feet.
Onycholysis certainly can be chronic like clearly in the case of this client (she’s had it for years= chronic). I explained more in the description box.
Hello ❤ The index toe is causing the lifting. It puts pressure on the corner of the nail. So your client needs a toe separator. Probably that foot is longer/wider. Measure it… Only thing you need to do is cut away all of the white free nail. A drop of oil each day is of course going to help. Try it yourself 🫶🏻 Victoria
Yes for sure :) I mentioned that in the description box. It's different when people come to you to fix a problem. Many times (most of the times) my clients come for a pedicure so their feet look better. They are most of the time not interested in cutting out the lifted part because it's gonna "look bad". This client doesn't want to keep the toes polish free for the winter nor have that separation cut out so the separation is chronic, meaning it doesn't just grow out on its own. Chronic doesn't mean that it is not possible to be fixed. Check this out: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6360979/ Also, I have had that happen many times, the separation might be bigger and it will not grow out properly in 1 month. So sometimes people try cutting it out and then I don't see them back whole winter They come back after the winter with grown out nail, still separated. The separation needs to be cut out until it fully reattaches. Which can take months. I also have clients who wear separatoes and then they squeeze their feet in normal shoes. In my opinio separators might work if you give your toes a space to spread (barefoot type shoes for example)

Wonderful I am sitting here watching this, loving the music, learning and doing my jojoba treatment while I watch. Thanks Anna. Jo in France 🇫🇷
Oh Anna, what a work! I enjoyed watching perfection! The choice of music is divine!👍👏👏👏♥️🙋♀️🌹
Just checked where you are. I might even be able to make it to your salon, from just over the border in France ! Jo in France 🇫🇷
Wonderful! Are you in Perpignan?

Wonderful work, as always, Anna. What color did you use? It looks like Dazzle Dry; Kaleidoscope or Beloved maybe. Thx.
Yes. Kaleidoscope:))
Fantastic video✨✨✨✨✨ Could you please tell me what the metal tool for cleaning under the nail is called?

Hello there :). Same advice applies :)
What nail companies don't tell you about nail buffing.

Thank you for the reply! Ok so I guess I will just put more oil and kerasal on my nails and hope for the best then😅
So soothing ❤

Please show a DIY pedicure at home. It would be so helpful 😊
Is there any way to safely manage a pincher/ingrown big toe nail at home? It is not cutting into the skin, but it is trying to grow into it.

Hello from Texas:)
What do you spray on the foot at the beginning and second??
Hello! Thank you for watching :) Alcohol based disinfecting spray. Later on urea foam to soften the skin a bit. At the end after the filing I wipe the feet with hot towels. :)
beautiful result! Is that kaleidoscope by Dazzle Dry? How far is Lloret de Mar from Barcelona? I'm planning a trip to Barcelona🙂

Hi, just a quick question... why didn't you use cuticle remover on her toes? Does that irritate the fungus?
This client does not have a fungul infection. More about dry pedicures: ruclips.net/video/bpP6-3uyEfg/видео.html
Should we clean under our nails and toenails please? Dot
Yes. But gently
What was that clear polish you put on the white areas after pushing back the cuticles?

Hello, welcome :))) 🤗
I am currently undergoing laser treatments for this issue. Does anyone has experience? Was it successfull? With Fotona.
For onycholysis?
