Met Ken Curtis at county fair in. Indiana. He was a really sweet man. Met him during meet and greet . He was so impresed with my little Daughter, that he kept her on his lap during the entire meet and greet and gave her candy before we left.

I'll never forget Festus. I've watched the entire presentation, and am still wondering what his ugly truth was!

Very nice tribute to Ken Curtis, but the podcast title caption is pure cickbait, mind you it did get my attention.

  • @suethompson1740

  • @johna7661

He is the main reason I still watch Gunsmoke on tv.

  • @DanMoen-zz2ew

He was friends with the Stockwell family. My buddy another cowboy asked me to ride an unbroken mule the owner didn't dare ride. Another friend Bert had passed away another cowboy friend so in honor of him in my mind I took the CHALLENGE . It was great fun crowhopping around while Willie held the hackamore . I'd of been bucked of but for the help. The mules name was Festus, great fun.

  • @tammiehonican76
