He is the main reason I still watch Gunsmoke on tv.
He was friends with the Stockwell family. My buddy another cowboy asked me to ride an unbroken mule the owner didn't dare ride. Another friend Bert had passed away another cowboy friend so in honor of him in my mind I took the CHALLENGE . It was great fun crowhopping around while Willie held the hackamore . I'd of been bucked of but for the help. The mules name was Festus, great fun.
He is still my favorite actor! I still watch Gunsmoke! He was the best!
