"all of that 8 inches is right here in the legs"
That could not have been an accident, almost spilled my soda.
This might be one of my favorite videos made by you guys.
Beautiful.Informative. And fun all at the same time.
I dig it.
I've seen your videos before lol. I like your Mustang!
Thanks! Much appreciated.
I came to the comments to say exactly the same haha :)
This is my first video from smoking tire , and its already the best video i have seen from this range on youtube !
So also my favorite
Wow time flies. 9 years ago
When every teenagers dreaming they wish can having their super car like ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, etc...but here "me" probably the weirdest boy out there want a giant SUV such this thing, Cadillac, suburban, Tahoe, etc. But this beast is really took my heart since it first came out...I want this thing more than I want anything in this world, I rather have this car and having a regular nice house though...I adore this one, I really imagine who made the design of this car, I believe whoever it is they will have same taste as mine...
Ray you are sooo me
Seeing this 7 years later, have you gotten one? I live in a tiny efficiency and am about to have one shipped to me across the country. Beautiful suv even today
For those who think Range Rovers break down, get over it. The new Range Rover engines are 100x better than the previous range rovers. They don't break as much as the old range rovers do. The reason why Range Rovers were so bad is because before 2013, Range Rover hired members of the Union, and they sabotaged the cars. Now, Range Rover is owned by Tata motors, and they fired the Unions. Range Rover is much better than they used to be.
That's so true. My brother owns a 2013 range rover sport autobiography and it's at 93k with no major problems and we beat on it a lot. Mind you the service is a lot but what do you expect out of a $100k suv
Alecmartin01
I didn't know that about the unions, interesting. And pretty shocking considering what I've read in the past about how much union workers demand to be paid!
+Alecmartin01 I have a 2007 LR3 with 145k on it, and aside from the air compressor its been problem free and I BEAT on it. Iv'e rode that thing at 125mph for many miles at a time and not even a single vibration, and still relatively quiet. Handles high speeds beautifully, and the handling in general is pretty good especially considering the size, however I've driven a new LR4 and that handled considerably better... almost unbelievably good.

NO THEY FUCKING DIDN"T
Somewhere out there there's a guy going, "yes, its classy, and yes its a quality car... but what it really needs are sum PIMP DUBS and a neon underlight..."
hahaha
His name is probably Tyrone aswell. Yes i went there, come@me
This!
Possibly the best SUV on the market right now.
"It can probably go out on its own and like, bring back some girls" Hahaha nice !
It was a blast watching this. The Range Rover is such an 'in your face' machine. It's beautiful, bold, elegant, and most importantly capable of giving a great time for it's passengers.
Nice review! I own 2008 LR 3 with 112,000+ miles on it so let me be one of the few owners that you have heard from who has no complaints about Land Rover reliability. In 5 years I have only had to get the right front passenger window fixed because it would not go all the way up...it would stop short about 1/2 inch. It cost me about $150 to get fixed. Everything else has been routine service: oil changes, tires, brakes, etc. No problems with the engine, electrical system or anything else. It has been truly a very reliable vehicle. If it wasn't I would have gotten rid of it a long time ago. I always tell people that I would not hesitate driving it across the country at any time.
Nice review Matt. You can’t beat a Range Rover. I’ve had several around the world (United Kingdom and New Zealand) 👌
So glad you mentioned the original LSE from the 90's so many people think this concept is a new thing for Land Rover
Another great video Matt! Excellent car review like normal, and a hilarious ending to boot.
Great review, I'm one of those previous owners that's had issues. It wouldn't be a Range Rover if it hadn't had problems but I'll stfu about that! Stunning vehicle pure luxury and brutal off-road.
That was an amazing review. The DJ bit at the end was great!
Best Range Rover review ever.
Love the ending
Me too....
Video ends and acid trip begins at 10:00...
yea, what kinda of bong hits were they doin at the end....do they have anymore????? share?
😂😂😂😂💯
This is quite possibly the best episode of smoking tire ever filmed. There is so much want induced by this video, that I might suddenly buy one on impulse, financially crippling myself while doing so. But that's okay because I'll also buy and install my own DJ booth in the back to ease the pain.
The car that could do it all, concur the off road, a luxurious ride, gets you laid, & has it's own music video! 10/10
Saw this truck at the auto show, it is god. Just phenomenal.
Loved the pimp ending
For sure I like that track alot. I've had some systems but 19 speakers.. jeesh. Thats gonna sound amazing. Anyone else notice those center channel speakers underneath each rear LCD screen. Must be 3-way components in each door, 4 "center's". Couple in the rear "deck" trunk area, and a sub.
Juan Castillo Didn't he say 29 speakers? 19 would be crazy but 29 is pimping.
Tom Wright My bad, 29, i have no solution for that number of speakers lol.
2008 RRS here. 140k. no major issues. basic maintenence. the ZF trans and 4.2s jag motor are superb. many new cars that I could have bought for the same cost that I paid used, but I've been very happy.
Beat was hot.
I like the video....clear explanation that makes me want the Range Rover Autobiography even more. I love the places where I can see the swift movement and the sound.
Psst...the song at the end had some serious sound...awesome.
That beat was so awsom
Great review. I like your view on the cost. I remember when the Maybach was new a magazine said the owners are so rich that buying one was like a regular person buying a t shirt.
Correct about the super rich.
If measly millionaire spent one $1 a second it would only last him 11 days.
A billionaire spending $1 a second would take 31 years.
A VAST difference in wealth. A t shirt indeed.
Mat farah and the crew, this is one my favourite videos so far. I loved the way ended the video with some good keys and bass! Keep up the AWESOME car videos.
I love how someone is all like what's so special about your car? While they probably drive a beater...
I loved the Road Trip approach to this video. It makes the viewer more engaged with what you do. Sure, you basically already reviewed car, so there was time for that, but i would love to see it more often.
this is our new model. All car reviews must have a non-review element that we think the viewer will find interesting.
First of all the review for the Range was good as hell. Written for a person interested in the logic of an SUV like this. I'm getting one. The DJ part was great! Appreciate it!
Looking so sophisticated in black, great review....
Like the dj, but can we get the Countach secretary back;)
You guys really picked the perfect place for it. About as off road as this thing will get. Great scenery and camera work too.
That DJ , super awesome ending. +1 everywhere anytime !! keep it up !
That DJ set scene made my life. Well done.
Rolls Royce 4x4...perfect description. Always love your vids, Matt. Love the new format!
The sound track in this video was so good!
lol! The music at the end of the video just nailed it and shows what the Range Rover experience is all about in North America. Has anyone ever noticed that hip hop music sounds a lot better than the mainstream ones when it is stereotypically ridiculed like this. I actually enjoyed this one a lot!
Not gonna lie that mixtape was fire!
A very good film! These episodes just keep getting better, and you have just doubled the rate at which i start to suffer waiting for the next.
The ending was probably the best thing ever!
This is definitely the best car review ive seen, everyone else always puts cars down and says their rivals are better but this one was funny and so positive i loved it.
That's why I like Matt; his honesty as to what a car is about.
jody024 exactly man hes the car reviewer of the century, i love the one he did for the Hennessey Venom GT haha that was so cool.
Haha loving the music video clip vibe at the end ;D
Oh and I love that 50th anniversary Rolex Sub. I have the same one but in black!
Brilliantly done! Love the endings now. They always give me a good laugh!
Last soundtrack is awesome! Like the range rover!
Bringing the smoking tire magic. Nice work Matt.
I like this new style of videos, keep it up Matt & Team!
excellent duty done matt. made day of range rover autobiography. Amazingly great shoot u did e
with this marvellous machine
I really like your presentation, good information and explanation with some humor. Good job bro!
The song in the end was great.
LOL! Awesome ending! XD The podcast brought me here.
Best ending of any Drive video, by far the best..lol
Ok. I love the beats at the end
I love the comparisons to jeeps with a range rover..
thats how reviews should be made.. you guys r better than Top Gear the american version
American Top gear is a piece of shit
i see american top gear as a comedy show instead of an actual car-review show
Great video. Hats off to Matt and the team.
This was the BEST SUV review!!!!!!
man, that sound at the end of the video is siiiick!
First time I stumble upon this channel... Great video and I loved the ending lol - totally subscribed! Excited for more videos :)
This guy's personality is fun!
I like him!
I want it now. Thanks for the info. I was looking into that model. Great.
Great video and awesome ending. Haha, didn't see that one coming. Well done sir!
Awesome video!!
Shame there's no snow in Mammoth, but you guys have definitely made the best of it haha.
Cracking fine ride, Bartleby.
I think this is the best video you guys have ever done. Just exceptional all around.
The music is so hypnotising, I love the Sport but now I dont know, this review was good
We love it guys. Great video and the ending was the cherry on top! Automotive Addicts
Wow guys best review of an SUV ever. The ending was genius haha
3:27 "big 32" flat screen tv's" DAMN that must be one old sign!
Out of all of your videos I've seen. This one, I believe, is to be your best. Keep up the good work and creativity.
Its a super luxury SUV no doubt but it has big time reliability issues not only with engine but some of the electronics inside the cabin
Just fucking brilliant. And the tune at the end was sweeeet! Big ups Matty boy.
What a fantastic review!
Great music video at the end. Good video all round
i need to win the lottery. this is so slick.
In a couple years, they will be affordable.
its 2017 and i am still waiting till 2022
Haha really enjoyed that mini music video at the end, kudos fellas.
Awesome scenery. Great review..
Might be my favorite video yet Matt, good shit keep em coming
The Smoking Tire, THAT was a great review.
My favorite 3 parts about driving the SWB full size autobiography:
1. Sound system 2. Power 3. Rear massage seats.
Nothing beats a Range Rover and i can't wait to drive the LWB in a couple of months!
good luck spending a fortune fixing it lol don't forget land rover is owned by india now hhahahaha
kuo3300 I fail to see why you noted it was now owned by indian people?
like, does that change anything?
the UK isnt too different than india as well, especially in universities its mostly either middle easter or indian professors teaching us.
Just got ours... THE BEST!
How'd it hold up? @@eurolok003
awesome review, love that you're not to "serious". Keep it up
lol! The music at the end of the video just nailed it and shows what the Range Rover experience is all about in North America. Has anyone ever noticed that hip hop music sounds a lot better than the mainstream ones when it is stereotypically ridiculed like this. I actually enjoyed this one a lot!
Awesome job guys, it was great meeting you! Great little bio on the town too!
This is a great video!
***** I actually ran into them at the car wash. I had been watching their channel for some time. Very cool guys.
That's so cool, you give them your resume???
Lol, I don't Cecily & Marti would want me gone all the time.
Take the kid!!! You can give the "Dad" outlook on all the videos!
That ending was funny as fuck.
DJ breakdown...awesome
Perfect video for a perfect car.
The music at the end is strangely fitting for it…
This ride already looks sick but u guys' job get it sicker :)
Excellent video. Beautiful footage, very informative and the voice over cracked me up a couple of times. Well done.
My families one arrives in one and a half weeks! Cant wait!
I am in love with this car!
What an interesting video! I love this car so much!
brilliant review... well done Matt.
I have to buy this car, no matter the price. Amazing job guys
Solid review, as always. You, Chris Harris, and that one guy that subbed for you while you were in Sweden (he got to drive a R8 v10 plus) are my favorite reviewers. I find your humor really interesting as most car reviewers on RUclips are bland, biased, and boring. I also like how you're not a stats guy; you realize cars are more than about their 0-60 or quarter mile. Anyways, great job!
pure poetry, this guy
Best 4x4 love it esp in black!
I love The Smoking Tire episodes
Last minute made my day..! I don't know how but I'm gonna have this car soon!! Bed breaking!!!!!!!
I'm not remotely interested in buying a Range Rover, at this very single, and very broke point of my life, but this video was super awesome. The cinematography, story-telling, and overall creativity that you guys are capable of is awe-inspiring. Wherever it is that TST and /Drive take you guys, it will be well deserved.
