I just got blacklisted by Anthropologie too for an order that never even got to me! Their customer service is awful. I've never heard of a company doing this before! Not impressed with it at all!
I would suggest not just awful totally illegal you can’t take money from people and not supply the goods and having many years of experience in the Furniture industry anything physically bought back damaged is photographed damaged and a credit is raised with the manufacturers then thrown away anyway and the same if it’s bought online you get the purchaser to photograph the damaged item and then ask them to dispose of it much to expensive to pick up and return rubbish. The manufactures just adjust it out of the cost of the next shipment. I’m pretty sure if reported to consumer affairs they would have a lot to answer for here in Australia we are very strict on retailers

Where I live, the oldest buildings are 100 years old and pretty boring. The idea of a light pink room sounds wonderful. I look forward to more videos.
Your lovely house is full of surprises. Lots of goodies to unbox!!! Your house is a reflection of both of you and what makes you happy, so no excuses! Having said that, if I could share what I’ve learned along the way for what it’s worth. Find picture of what you love in interior design Pinterest or insta as inspiration for the look for the whole house, including a color palette so that the whole thing flows from room to room. You don’t have to do it all at once but over the years but it will gives you both a clear vision. Also, as a rule, interior designers start with furniture & are rugs /fabrics next, then wall paint color and lighting last. Hope that helps!

Some years ago we painted our living room with a shade of white that was pink tinged. It made the room so warm and we used it again in our next home. There are many shades of “white” that are tinged with another colour so good luck and go for it!

Another wonderful video! We bought our new house in December and are currently renovating it. It’s an old collection of barns in the south west of France. We know the buildings are old, but you’ve really inspired me to doing some investigating into the history of the buildings. Thank you! If a pink room is what you want do it. It's good for you to have one room that you love, especially with your favorite colour. The time of the sample seems quite serene and soft. I am from Canada and love design, so go for it.

Last year I saw a series of a house in my city called A House Through Time and loved it as they went back seeing who had lived there and found the history about them. I still miss the time when two young local girls used to sell their chickens' eggs. They would come in all sorts of interesting shapes and colors.
I love your ideas for the extra little touches you want to put on ‘your’ room. The light pink looks lovely and will really brighten the space. If you don’t want to go full trim since the panels are so prominent I would look into the little decorative appliqués (onlay appliqués) I believe they are called. They are more subtle and I think would give the walls a more feminine touch without it becoming too busy. Loving the content lately...all the best!

We live in a 400 year old farm cottage which should possibly look more like sections of your home but has never had the chance to be restored in such a fantastic way. I'm enjoying your settling in videos so much. Just an idea for some of your products, you could arrange a box of things to go in each guest room including spare hairdryers etc so your guests can come to stay and use, enjoy and/ or take away products. this will disperse your things around the home and give them new purpose. xx

Could you please give the overall layout of your gorgeous house, how many bedrooms, bathrooms, drawing/sitting and dining rooms, any others like a study or library? I love what you’ve shown so far, but I can’t really picture the interior arrangement. I am fortunate enough to have a laundry room with adjacent sewing room (both small), because I do spend time caring for and tweaking my wardrobe.

Another wonderful video! We bought our new house in December and are currently renovating it. It’s an old collection of barns in the south west of France. We know the buildings are old, but you’ve really inspired me to doing some investigating into the history of the buildings. Thank you! Im planning to see if the marie and church have archives, when I’m able. I’m also really inspired by the comments left on your pink room video...suggesting to decorate in keeping with the style and period. I am definitely taking this message onboard. Gorgeous house with so much character and history. Last year I saw a series of a house in my city called A House Through Time and loved it as they went back seeing who had lived there and found the history about them. It would bad lovely for you to do the same and it would have so much more history. Love watching your videos everyday seeing how you and Charlie style and decorate the house.

I love your ideas for the extra little touches you want to put on ‘your’ room. The light pink looks lovely and will really brighten the space. If you don’t want to go full trim since the panels are so prominent I would look into the little decorative appliqués (onlay appliqués) I believe they are called. They are more subtle and I think would give the walls a more feminine touch without it becoming too busy. Loving the content lately...all the best!

Just a thought Josie, but perhaps you could designate, for the time being anyway, the little secret passage room for your incoming packages, for the unboxing? That way you’re avoiding any germs going into your kitchen by containing them in that area. X
your house is amazing, so lovely to see. We live in a 400 year old farm cottage which should possibly look more like sections of your home but has never had the chance to be restored in such a fantastic way. I'm enjoying your settling in videos so much.
Just an idea for some of your products, you could arrange a box of things to go in each guest room including spare hairdryers etc so your guests can come to stay and use, enjoy and/ or take away products. this will disperse your things around the home and give them new purpose. xx

Could you please give the overall layout of your gorgeous house, how many bedrooms, bathrooms, drawing/sitting and dining rooms, any others like a study or library? I love what you’ve shown so far, but I can’t really picture the interior arrangement. I am fortunate enough to have a laundry room with adjacent sewing room (both small), because I do spend time caring for and tweaking my wardrobe.
