Nice to see that lineup for Nashville North. I worked there as a busperson for four Stampedes and I never saw the lineups. But I did get to see all the performers backstage. Some walked around freely, others had an entourage of body guards.
22:44 it's getting better in this regard though, go back several years Bow Tower, then Peace Bridge, more recently the new Central library and Studio Bell, all very awesome modern style architecture.

Some theories on why the fireworks were scaled back: I could be that the city blew its budget on an arena it doesn't need and somehow shifted the bulk of the cost to itself. It might be that water fluoridation is going to cost way more than they thought. Or it could be the tendency to over-pay for overseas consultants to put in fancy high-maintenance bridges. Could be...
12:12 Main reason for this, they are more spread out, over a +15 min timeframe with the show. My daughter performs with the Young Canadians and my own critique of the structure is that they start the fireworks far too early. They have them going during the motorbikes in the 'big ball of death' which is distracting (what are you supposed to watch, the fireworks or the motorbikes)? I think they should have run the motorbike number, then transition to the YC's emerging for their final number with the start of a shorter and more intense firework display.
