@@neilbagchi7093But his daughter clearly means more to him than his wife because being widowed is a far less impact than being childless. That's probably why his wife's death didn't make him realize anything. In fact, the fear of possibly losing his daughter made him reflect on killing Laurel because he killed her to spite her father whereas nearly losing his own daughter made him see what that felt like is. That's a real heart❤
He shows emotion in this scene that tells us that cares about his daughter and will do anything he can so she does not turn out to be like him Amazing acting from him as we are getting to see character development for him :)
Damien done a lot of unforgivable things before because he hasn't known the feeling of someone to love then. Now if only he could get back to time to undo those horrible things to save his daughter he would.Wonderful scene showing a realization how powerful love is even to someone who've done bad & horrible things to change and see goodness.
Critical hit The person Sara hates the most, who murdered her sister : gives her the reason to keep or pursue Ava as her girlfriend Chance of redemption ? and proving love, yeah you get why Darhk is disgusted by himself and afraid to lose Nora, he didnt care in S4 about killing his own daughter, he almost went through it. Then he was brought back, given a chance to prove he can be the father she needed, not necessarily given the chance to be a better person, but to give his daughter a father she needs, so she have father. And he corrupted her. And they had to have their evil endeavor to discover the bond they could have had all along, for Nora to have her father, for Damien to grow a heart, have regret, for admitting guilt, shame, regret to Sara for very personally killing her sister. Damn this show is deep. There's a lot of fourth wall break, pop culture reference, self ridicule but it hits hard with emotion and character building.
Ok, so i knw tht darhk is the most unfogivable villain, i mean he paralyzed felicity, he killed laurel, amd everyone was so happy when oliver decided to drive an arrow in his stomach. But now, listening to wat he said to sara, i just wanna forgive him now.
Unforgivable in arrow maybe, but not in the arrowverse. Idk about supergirl show, but ik that zoom is worse then Damien like yes Damien killed and paralyzed important characters, but zoom is a serial killer and he enjoys killing while Damien does everything or did everything for his ark. Zoom is the most unforgivable character in the show i don’t watch supergirl so idk
Stephen Nguyen first you should give Supergirl a chance. If you have Netflix you can catch up on the seasons there. As for your assessment about Zoom being worse than Damian I don't know I mean yes Damien did everything for his ark and of course more importantly for his daughter and his own warped sense of self-righteousness but despite all that he seem to genuinely enjoy killing no different from Zoom.
Master Sensui ok u may be that Damien does enjoy killing, but at the same time he does it for his ark while zoom does it just because he finds it fun to do. Like that story zoom killed officers and saved one officer to tell the story about zoom and then killed that officer later that night, but Damien would of let that officer live and not go kill him at night and for supergirl idk I watched the first couple episodes I kinda liked it, but there's so many episodes and yes Ik it's as much as flash and arrow, but its not as good as them heck it's not as good as a show called shameless that I don't feel like watching it like the new show blacklightning is better then super girl in my opinion and that show has like only 9-10 episodes
I think his arc will end on the finale. He will either sacrifice himself, get killed by mallus, or help defeat mallus, but will abide to his agreement with Sara and be killed by her at the end of the episode, and maybe have Nora join the legends in his place?
So Damien and Sara are at the same agreement Damien admits that if he could take killing Laurel back,he would. Then later Sara agree to help Damien and then get revenge or maybe kill him in the season finale
I mean, love's the only thing we got in this world. Without it, nothing really matters. Hmm. And who knows what we'd become if we didn't have it? (c) Joe West
Wow harsh comments about Damien. Yes he's done unforgivable things but he now feels Genuine remorse and if he could he'd take it back. He's not pure evil guys, he's Human just like the rest of us. We all do things we wish we could take back.
On par with Deadshots flashbacks, Iris getting through to Marlize and Barry and Becky's conversation in Jitters. Damien spoke from the heart here and Sara understood and knew his words.
This is scence is so interesting. It's what happened when you stretch a evil person they develop a good reason over time. Idk what happened but a scenario where he's a legend? Hmm? He's buddy with Ray and Nate?
I just realized this parallels how Malcolm Merlyn felt when Tommy was killed during the Undertaking. Both Damien and Malcolm's selfish ambitions ended up endangering their children's lives, showing them what they had done and how their darkness had blinded them from being good fathers
Halo Galaxy it still might happen. Remember just because he loves his daughter doesn't mean he won't hurt everyone else still. It's just at this point he's in "save my daughter" mode and if that means working with his enemies he'll do it.huh I just now realized the similarities between Damien dark and Malcolm Merlyn
@@JustShin11 They are similar but malcom merlyn is more reasonable and forgiving. Trust me, they are in many ways similar which is why they made good friends/duos but malcom merlyn was close to his daughter since the start
I want laurel earth 2 to do a guest star I hope Katie does and she says yes and I would love to see her up against Damien knowing he killed her earth 1 counterpart and she is actually a meta human which means she stands more of chance against him then earth 1 laurel and I know why Oliver didn’t bring back earth 1 laurel because 2 doppelgängers can’t live on the same earth as stated in batwoman and Oliver thought she deserves a chance to live and be happy with lance the father that was returned to her
Damien has no heart Even his daughter there's heart full with darkness and cold he's the same murder who killed Sara's sister with a arrow he's a monster
Can't say that. He showed so much emotion in this episode, his body language expressed so much pain and most importantly disappointment of himself for how he treated his daughter.
Mari Hillestad he kill Laurel and Cowardly put a arrow on Laurel he has a cold heart in him with no humanity he never going to change and forget what he did to Sara's sister Sara should kill him to avenge her own sister's death
Andrew James rafols if you think about it the same could be said for Sarah as well and even Oliver Queen or did you forget that they killed innocence as well especially Sarah during her time in the league yet she was given a second chance. I'm not saying be a dummy of course not because despite him loving his daughter that doesn't necessarily change who he is true so if you really wanted to change he's going to have to show us something. Similar to Malcolm Merlyn if you remember when he sacrificed his life to save Thea or Captain Cold when he sacrificed his life to save the legends. Like the real world, the world and the arrowverse is not black and white but grey
Aw is your little sob story supposed to evoke some kind of emotion Damien? News flash it didn't, glad you are suffering Darkh, you deserve it and more for all the pain you have caused, but most of all for killin' Laurel. Don't expect any pity or mercy from me Darkh, you'll get none.
PHIFan-MIA I think at this point it's like what was it all for? The only thing he ever gave a damn about is possessed by some Demon kind of makes you reflect
PHIFan-MIA that’s what happens when a character is popular. Look at Snart and Mick and Killer Frost. Hell go back 20 years and look at Spike from Buffy.
You can say they are. Somehow, i see Nora being brought to life by the end of the episode. I think Damien's arc will end on the next episode. Neal McDonough is such a great actor.... You can literally see emotion in his eyes
Damn Damien Looked and sounded so broken . Rip, his lil daughter
Now Damien knows what Sara felt when he murdered Laurel.
Well he felt it also when he lost his wife
Although we didn’t all agree with Laurel’s death on Arrow, on the bright side it made Damian Darhk work well as an enemy for Sara on this show.

He shows emotion in this scene that tells us that cares about his daughter and will do anything he can so she does not turn out to be like him

I would not mind if Damien becomes a Legend or a series regular.
Jeremy Hall eh maybe
Not likely to happen given his history

some sort of anti-hero like captain cold in a flash
MSP - Mostafa Saad Productions I know. It would be a nice change if he wad a series regular as a good guy.
So Damien and Sara are at the same agreement Damien admits that if he could take killing Laurel back,he would. Then later Sara agree to help Damien and then get revenge or maybe kill him in the season finale
Damian feels sorry that he killed Laurel!? Am I dreaming?
BOT 2 well when the only thing that you give a damn about is possessed by a demon, it makes one reflect on the choices they made in life
No its all real
I know. LOL. It's just shocking to see it.
Where's your heart when you murdered Sara's sister at star city huh you will always be the same colded bitch for ever murder Sara's sister
True. Well, at least he's gone now
Looking by all of these comments we all have a heart to forgive Damien ...hope CW makes him a series regular and into the Legends Team
@Cer El The only reason it would have been wierd is because he's a badass murder with some good humour and he doesn't fit the team
This was the moment i forgave Darhk for everything he had done.
