And they had to have their evil endeavor to discover the bond they could have had all along, for Nora to have her father, for Damien to grow a heart, have regret, for admitting guilt, shame, regret to Sara for very personally killing her sister. Damn this show is deep. There's a lot of fourth wall break, pop culture reference, self ridicule but it hits hard with emotion and character building.
