Hi Derek, I appreciate the kind words🙏 I have used the festool and the mirka both are awesome machines either way they have both there ups and downs. Not to sure on the other two brands. I was exactly the same when I was deciding, I checked out some reviews on them both and decided on the mirka system. As you've indicated you use your deros on a daily basis so I'm sure you put it through its paces. How long have you been using the DEROS daily? I've just ordered the same deros sander but only am considering cancelling the order after hearing so many issues about it failing.

Just a more professional approach. Saves me wearing a mask, and clean up. They are designed to be run with the extractor. You get a smoother finish, less sand paper clog and not breathing in harmful particles.
@@paintingbyjosh makes sense josh I’m a decorator in Scotland 🏴 and use it a lot indoors it’s a great bit of kit, I have a nilfisk aero as an extractor .

hey mate, the backing pad can last years depending on how much you sand. The pad savers can last up to a few months.

Had two of these machines both great to use However both packed up after the warranty ran out with not slot of use 🤔
Mirka makes a beautiful ergonomic lightweight sander. Unfortunately their reliability sucks.

Why are you using a dust filtration system outdoors ,? this is just an observation not a criticism
