My moon valley friendship plant is struggling a little bit as well, the leaves on mine have started to turn brown on the edges and the leaves themselves aren’t as green as they were when I first got mine they look lighter green and more reddish in the middle, could it be that I’m not watering it enough? Or it’s getting to much sunlight? Thanks for the videos!
Its so hard to say with these fussy plants. They can be really picky sometimes. It could be the soil is staying too dry inbetween the waterings. I water whenever the soil begins to dry completely. Being careful not to under or over water, which is tricky with these. I also noticed mine doesn't like any heat above 85° f in the summer. I have to take mine in because its dropping leaves due to the excessive heat we've been getting.
Stacey Here we grow again Thanks for the advice, I’ve started watering it a bit more and it seems to be doing better so fingers crossed I can keep it heading in the right direction!
I have one but shes drying out on her leaves :( her bloomings are turning brown. How can i fix this? Im watering her at least once a week. I may have over watered her in the beginning but now im letting her soil dry out. I did move her away from our window but we really dont get much direct sun.
Do you find that this plant likes humidity? I have one in a 2 inch pot that I've had a few months but I haven't noticed any new growth. She gets bright indirect light from my east window.
From my experience, they don't need extra humidity but I'm not an expert by any means. These can be prone to fungus and bacteria so try to be careful with the amount of moisture your putting around it.
my moon valley friendship plant is kind of struggling a bit too, because the ends on a couple of them are turning brown, but other than that she’s been doing fine and growing new babies. also, her soil is not dry, but not too wet. and along with that she gets a lot of indirect light, so i don’t really know why she’s till struggling a bit. is there any chance that you may know?
It can be a lot of different things.. soil is too dry, its suffering from nutrient burn, sunburn.. It has outgrown its pot etc.. narrowing it down is the only advice I can give... Is there anyrhing else happening besides the brown leaves? Is the entire leaf turning brown or is it just on the ends/leaf tips?
Some ppl say yes and some ppl say the prefer less humidity.. I guess it all depends on where it's located and what conditions it's in. Try putting a tray of pebbles filled with a little water underneath, so the plants raised up, not touching the water. This will create a more humid environment for it, if needed. It's all an experiment until you find a happy medium for your type of climate. Brown crispy leaves usually means it needs more humidity from my knowledge.
Hey hey. My honeymoon valley friendship plant is sadly dying. The stems are brown, some of the leaf had leaf rot and some of the new growth is dying too. This plant symbolizes my inner friendship with myself. I would be devastated is she dies. Idk how to save her. The only option I’m feeling is to try propagation. Anything I can do?

I only give these a few hrs dappled/filtered sunlight through the blinds. Nothing too intense or they can show signs of burning.

Do you mist them? I had one that died and I think its because it wasn't getting high enough humidity.
I was wondering the same thing... ???
