Gryaznov is one of the most able & talented pianists that are around today. I am a pianist myself (nothing of his calibur), and his playing and his transcriptions give me such joy and hope in today's artists. I do wish him ever-lasting success, he is absolutely amazing & inspirational.

One of my favorite pieces ever, across all the legendary greats. What a brilliant idea and such a fantastic transcription. I have been listening to Gryaznov's Valse-Fantasie for the last 4 years and finally started to work on it myself a month ago... I have a very long way to go! It must have taken me 30 minutes to watch this video to the end, due to the number of times I was rewinding obsessively to try to begin to comprehend the magic heard and seen here.
This was absolutely a wonderful, stunning, and frequently jaw-dropping performance, played on the best piano (in my opinion) of all time; a very worthy instrument for such a worthy musician. I had the fortune of trying an F308 very briefly some time ago. It would be an honor to play on such a piano again, hopefully with this piece under my fingertips. The soaring passages such as the one at 3:00 are incredibly exhilarating, keyed so smoothly and rhythmically (maybe mythically) as presented here by mr. Vyacheslav. It would take hours to dissect and analyze every bit of sorcery in this performance. I aspire to this level of technique - and above all else, the soul!!
    Thank you Vyacheslav and bravo!

Hello, just curious if you kept working on learning this transcription - it's one of my favorites of all time though I fear it's too advanced for me to learn. Passages like 3:00 are what breathe life into me!

Flawless. What a tremendous achievement to play this live. A beautiful transcription and a perfect performance. Yeah. Too good to be true... I admire the precision and the sensitive and precise control over the whole dynamic range and his outstanding superhuman coolness.

Рахманинову можно было на темы Паганини написать, и Вам можно на тему Глинки! А получилось очень замечательно, Хачатуряна и Свиридова тоже напоминает в чем-то! Здорово!
