One other tip, you can apply a small audio delay in OBS to better sync your audio to the models mouth movement.

First thing I want to say is that this is by far the best video on this topic that I've seen.
The second is that everything worked except for the physics. I followed the instructions exactly using the hair as you did in the video.... and nothing. No matter how much I move it around it stays put (yes I clicked play first). I think it must be because the structure of my model is different from yours in Unity. Rather than existing in the same tree as the head, it's listed separately under the avatar separate from the body like the clothes.

weird question but would you be able to mesh vseeface facial tracking with vmagicmirror through a homemade vtuber program using either unity or unreal engine? I love the vmagicmirror for the keyboard and gamepad tracking but it's facial tracking lacks a lot compared to vseeface

I use Spout2 image capture just because it allows using VSeeFace without turning off UI.
I am just learning about this tech. Quick question. Why is your avatar that you use to narrate your video is waaay better than the one you are showing us in the video?
i had to watch this more than once because there was some things that i missed or thought i missed
first lets start with the camera ( 2:35 ) , why did you set it to OBS virtual camera? (note i currently have a 1 pc setup and have a Logitech brio webcam. )
second, thx vm for the tip to turn off head movement from iPhone tracking and use the webcam instead - HUGE improvement
third, spout is op - even in single pc setup. it hides the ui even when you are using the ui in vseeface. allows me to switch avatars without anyone seeing the ui.
whats the tracking you have in the corner?

I made my avatar on Vroid Today, I exported it as a VRM. But, when I set it to Vseeface and when I click on start I get this error message that I should be only using models from Unity. Any help???

I loaded my avatar and hit start it loads in fine, but nothing is happening, it doesn't follow any of my movements, am I missing something? I have a Iriun webcam which I'm using my phone for as my camera, any thoughts?
In the startup on the top right there is a drop down menu for cameras. If your webcam is not in that list then it will not work for basic webcam tracking. If it is listen then it should work like normal.
In the case your phone to pc camera is not working you could try using Droidcam for Android, or EpocCam for iPhone... unless you have a iPhone with FaceID then you can just use iFacialMocap or Waidayo.
Not sure if you're still having this issue, but that webcam app does work with vseeface (I've used it myself). Make sure that the camera isn't being used by any other applications before starting up vseeface. I had it open in a different program a couple times and vseeface couldn't access it for tracking. Hope that helps!
