One minor detail I'm going to add in case anyone else was having issues. If you have the editor open and are trying to run the packaged project the packaged project will not track. However, if you close the editor and then run the packaged project the packaged project will now track.
Thank you .. can you again explain these steps for UE5 .. but I did as you did but I could not like something missing Please again please explain it with plugin update
so i got as far as 3:46 where you close it out and restart...I get an error of "The following modules are missing or built with a diffrent engine version: "mysavefile" Would you like to rebuild them now?" and it says it can't and then closes everything out. I made no changes, added nothing, uploaded nothing. I only created the file and enabled the C++ thing and I get this. help?????
So, I believe we got stuck on the same error, and when I went back and looked closely I noticed I had an error because I didn't have Visual Studio downloaded. I'm still learning, but I think it uses visual studio as a compiler for the C++ code we put in... Well, anyway, you can just download visual studio and once you have it try again.
@@Guest-wr4bj I found a few links to what i think is the correct version of visual studio (here in case someone needs it visualstudio.microsoft.com/ ) ...then learned just the other day this whole time I needed to use a diffrent program due to my model type.

Hi! After putting in the plugins in the project, when I open the project it says "missing modules, the following modules are missing" etc . Why do I keep getting this message?
I get following error when reopening the project after adding c++ class: 'Following modules are missing or built with a different engine - 'Name' - Would you like to rebuild them now?' Can't open the project after
Hey great tutorial! I have seen your previous one as well and it was also helpful. Will you be doing a tutorial anytime soon about how to set it up/connect it to twitch? I have been searching through the internet but haven't seem to be able to find anything helpful on how to.
the initial zero context for big-booba-energy is amazing lol I'm really interested in the pre-made model that you now have available, but my brain is also like "i JUST finished drawing my oc's face makeup and birthmarks. I'm still new at this, hoping it will be a smooth transition getting her to have the rigged cheeks without recreating her from scratch.
When I got to this point not knowing if I have to do my shaders manually or even how to do them. I continued with the video steps but I couldn’t start because something is disassociated, unable to compile. I don’t know what it’s talking about and I don’t know what to do. 🙃
Bless you, you are missed, and I look forward to your return to Twitch. Got to the part where it is time to restart the engine after creating the C++ class (using 5.1 btw), and I get the following messages. 'The following modules are missing or built with a different engine version: VtuberTutorial (-> title of project...) Would you like to rebuild them now?' I say sure, why not, and click Yes. 'VtuberTutorial could not be compiled. Try rebuilding from source manually.' Hmmmm? I'm certain I am doing something monumentally plebeian. Your wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
Still works, but I faced one weird issue: model in unreal engine stayed in T pose. Turned out that some models for unknown reasons do not work, even though they move in vseeface just fine. Any other model works. On UE5.1 works fine using 5.1 plugins.
Hey! I think I'm create the same stuff, but it may be a stupid question... Do I need a second PC for unreal app, or I can minimise performance cost like in vseeface or something like that? I use my own custom model, it's semi-realistic, and look well everywhere, but not in unity based apps. Maybe there is the way how to run custom ue5 based apps and streaming with something else running (games etc) on single PC?
Hi I'm just wondering because I don't have enough money to buy a fancy PC and all the VR tech but I'm able to use a remote PC, is there a way to use those VR applications even if I'm using a Virtual Machine?
Possibly a dumb question but I followed all the steps and got the same result as you. But, as someone who doesn't have full motion capture devices, is it better to use this or just use Vseeface by itself? Cos aside from perhaps having my own custom little room in Unreal Engine, I don't see a huge advantage atm.
I'm having trouble when i put in my vtuber her hair bones seem to go crazy and she doesnt change from T pose with vsf tracking, followed all steps accordingly. Unsure what could be wrong with the import.
Howdy, having a slight problem with vseeface to unreal. The port numbers match but unreal doesn't have any changes, for some additional reason I have to set the alpha in VMC4UE to zero or the skeletal mesh will disappear.
thank you! this was very useful and informative. I had a question, would something similar be able to be done with a model downloaded from the unreal asset store? like is there a way to convert those to vrm etc?
Do we still need to use the old method to package the project, so it's not running in editor all the time? I couldnt get UE5 to compile using the old method ;w;
Thank you for your wonderful tutorial. It's really helpful!!! I have a few questions. 01. My character doesn't change in the T-shaped pose, is it because there is no mocap data on the body part? 02. Blendshape is very unstable. It's not like that in vseeface, but it becomes very unstable when it comes to unreal. Eyes, nose, and mouth shake like vibrations, or break when they don't shake. How can I fix this?? I would appreciate it if you could reply. Thank you always. I hope you are always healthy and happy!
Will this work with using a webcam for tracking too? Ive seen some tutorials on getting a webcam software to send to Vsee and i wonder if the rest would be the same?
@@Fofamit Good to know. :) I'm currently building something in Unity (I've learned a lot since I made the original comment), but I'll keep this in mind should I decide to switch over to Unreal for comparison. You're videos are wonderful. At some point in time I'd like to see someone compare really expensive high end mocap setups like xsens and any of the various VR gloves and maybe use mid range stuff like Vive and inside out tracking with Quest 2 as a basis for comparison since that's what most viewers are accustomed to.
