In the mixed team that has both skaven and underworld you can. Just created mine and got essentially 4 stormvermin with block to start with. Edit: And you get gutter runners :D
Fenris Silverfang I created one too, but made the mistake of choosing an Underworld Thrower, thinking his animosity wouldn't be an issue when throwing to his Gutter Runner brethren, but I was wrong on that one! Lol
UW is easily one of my favourite teams. The amount of dumb things you can do with them is amazing. I went with the 4 re-roll starting setup. It was super scary during the first game, but because we have a mostly AV7 league(only a single Nurgle and Ogre team) so far it was the right choice. It might become more viable should Cyanide ever adapt to the Team RR for Piling on. It is nice to have a PO monopoly on tabletop :D
While one more ST3 is great, this is not what makes the Underworld team work. If you want to rely on strength, it's the wrong team pick :) apo and rr's are far more likely to get you wins (while still having a team). You should NOT be a contact team with these guys. Blitz, retreat. Run through opponent's line like it isn't there, fan out behind them and shield the player going through. Trust me on this... As soon as you have 2 heads everywhere on the gobos, they become the defining part of the team, with the Skaven as support... :)
That is true - as long as you start with apo and 3 rr's I think the core is good. Then it's really a question of how worried you are that you'll lose players, or how you play ...if you - like me - love the foulin' also before DP and possibly without Bribes, then the extra bench is a bit of a must :D
I'm a st3 sucker too. 12 players (all rats), 3rr + apo is my way to go. Not only i pay about strenght, i also have another guy with G access. That early block is essential imo. I like to have one linorat with wrestle and one with block (usually 1st one getting block, not necessary if i have thrower with block that i can use on LOS, then i can get wrestle for another lino). I also don't like to rely on +3 dodges which happens a lot when opposing force marks goblins. Having ball carrier and 5 st3 dudes means also more blitzing options (sometimes killer/killers are too far or can't reach.. with more players you can spread out way more). This happens especially when there is either early turnover or otherwise poor rolls (like trying to knock Fleshie down but you get pushes and it just Standfirms).. and i really don't like to block with troll but early on you kinda have to do those LOS blocks with mb.. and failing that is something you have to recover from.. having more st than dodge gives way more options to deal fails like that. If i was more of a fouler i'd start with 13 for sure, but since i'm maybe more "safe" player so i really like that one extra G-access st3 instead of 2 gobbos. With random mvp system it is even more essential to have one more G-access guy that 5spp can land on. Also if there is no injuries after 1st game you most often can afford that 13th player (goblin) anyway ;)
Generally they are a safety and ball hawk since they get wrestle, horns, tackle and two heads on normals. Take dodge on doubles and every stat up you can. If they get doubles on their first skill then you can take mighty blow and build him into another killer, something like mb -> block -> claw -> tackle -> horns -> two heads or pro.
Underworld are awesome - but I would turn the second thrower into a surf machine - Frenzy, Horns!! No one pays attention to the thrower behind the LoS, and boom - they are one down. :-)
Do the legendary Edition still use the old Pill on rule ? Or is it updated to the new version ? If it is updated it is probably not worth taking anymore
Thanks mate, and welcome to both the hobby and the channel! There's several trailers on the Focus channel, which I've borrowed with permission: ruclips.net/user/focusinteractivesearch?query=blood+bowl+trailer
Im a very hard skaven fan - always getting back to them - and i love killer vermin - so this team seems like alot of fun and a nice alternative for me ^^ thanks for showing Sage - are the mutation visuals good on them ? man cant wait to try them out ^^
A Skaven-Underworld mixed team would be great because you could field 4 Storm Vermin, 2 of which can mutate on any stat-up. I can't wait to try this!
Aw! You can't get two from each team? I guess if forced to choose, I'd go with the ones that can mutate.

"Sooo... They are kind of racist..." Made me laugh 😂

I love the casual "They are kinda racist." Sage threw in there to explain the animosity skill.
gr8 guide but i'll go with doulbe thrower with no doubt cause it's another str3 player

you can start with troll + all rats + 5 gobs + 3 rrs + apo you'll have 12 players only but i think is the better way to start imo

I can see that, but I really prefer a 13th body. Would rather skip the apo than the 13th man, I think.

My favourite team by far, cant play skaven and goblins kinda suck after one drive so why NOT PUT EM' TOGETHER?!
Glad to hear it. Why can't you play skaven though? They're really kind of awesome. =D
Wait so what’s really the point with the shaven linemen, or what should you use them for
Radishman back fielders or surfers

Decent speed and can throw too with no animosity

Legendary Edition uses CRP, so definitely still worth taking.
Is that line that Jim says at the start of the video from the game or did Cyanide record new lines? I don't remember hearing it anywhere else.
It's from a trailer video.
Oh cool. I just got into Bloodbowl recently so I haven't seen any trailer videos. Love the channel by the way ^^.

doesn't feel like playing skaven at all with no gutters
but the armor 7 + 2 storm vermin thing does ^^
In my oppinion skaven are gutters! ;) but ye they have 3 skaven units
Skavens are racist? Based as hell
Claw goblin > two heads goblin!
Lmao I didn't know skavens were racist turns out goblins are not tho
