Last trains through Glenhuntly Station

The old Glenhuntly Station is closed and the new Glen Huntly Station is coming 🔜.
The last trains have stopped at Glenhuntly ahead of our team demolishing the existing building to make room for the new, modern station.
The boom gates at Neerim and Glen Huntly roads are set to go for good mid year.
Trains are currently running express through Glenhuntly Station, with a shuttle bus operating between Ormond and Caulfield to connect Glen Huntly passengers to Frankston Line services.

The new Glen Huntly Station below ground in a rail trench will open in August. And then project finishing works will be fully complete by early 2024.

Old Glenhuntly station was an eyesore next to a level crossing death trap. There’s no reason to miss it.

There is only one reason to miss it, and it’s the fact that it had a third track (other than the tram Square at Ballarat, which was around until 1970) the Glenhuntly Tram Square was the only tram, square with three tracks
