I was there... there was a constant background chatter... it was a reunion of deadheads who had been in the covid cold iron bed! A little rain that day... on and off. I am old... I was friends with J Mattson , now of Dark Star Orch back in 1979. Many bands cover the Dead. Mikaela Davis and the band are absolutely exceptional. ( and they got the short stick in New Haven.)
Yes. Unfortunately that seems to be the norm everywhere these days, no matter who is playing. Very annoying and disrespectful; I think that excess alcohol consumption is a significant factor.
I'm just getting aquainted with Mikaela's music. I love her Grateful Dead covers, especially this great song.
Beautiful. Angelic voice. Beautiful cover.
She's good, real good. I bet Garcia and Hunter would like the performance.
They do.
So great to see this music carried on through generations. Someone’s smiling down on us :)
So beautifully sung so incredibly moving it seems it should go on forever!!❤💀
I love the way you sing this, Makaela. It’s haunting and captures my entire awareness. Truly breathtaking. .

Does my home town proud. Not only can they play, but they are beautiful people inside and out. The show talkers though...blah
I should be so lucky 💋💋
Was it raining, or some other excuse? Otherwise, the audience seems somewhat rude. You can hear people talking over the music.
Hey audience! Shut up!
Why aren't they listening? So much talking.

That amp looks huge, though it really isn't.
Soulful rendition. Too bad the crowd was yapping.
Classic song but not the best for a large loud venue concert or Playboy After Dark.
Playboy after dark was actually about as good as It gets for a performance of this song
Rude crowd

Yup, how can they be yakking during this?
