*The Warning* has a bunch of new live videos released. I think that you will enjoy them more than their music videos.
The song above is from my youth during school days. 😍
Nope not until you react to Sonata Arctica White Pearl Black Oceans Live.
Heath I like you but no one cares about these old bands.
I've sent you money and you don't do the reactions so why should people financially support you for doing not what they pay you to do. It's pointless.
Idk why you do reactions anymore because you don't care what your audience wants so why should they care about you??
@@NeeceLoneWulf - A lot of people care about these bands.
It’s actually pronounced State/us Quo. Not stattus
They kicked off Live Aid in London.
Nobody ever stopped smiling at a Quo concert.
That right there is what Quo Does to you ! It drags you in and shakes your very core... and it NEVER leaves...
Do more quo !
That’s how you open a show , and they go right into another as soon as one is done
The very best of British Rock that’s Status Quo , now go and have a blast with 45 hundred times .
My first proper gig, Manchester Apollo 1977. Opened with Caroline. My ears rang for 3 days. F*****g awesome.
Being a very old man now, I am happy to say that I have been listening to The Quo since around 1964 or 5, and I still get a buzz.
They are The Quo.
Brilliant.
Rick was definitely one of the best rhythm players ever. Sorely missed this brilliant man.
He could have fitted for malcom young , both brilliant rhythm players , but Rick had a better voice
Anyone want this dude to watch the backwater and just take me up live at Wembley first frantic four reunion concert? I mean he'd freak out lol
@@simoncampbell3144 Yeah, definitely more of a singer than Malcolm hehe
The best.
Heh heh 😊@@simoncampbell3144
The good old days of live concerts for real. Status Quo awesome fucken awesome
Status Quo are legends
Caroline - One of the greatest show-openers of all time. Sets the tone for what follows from the opening chord and just gets better and better from then onwards. No pretentions. No airey-fairy solos. No nonsense. Just get on down, rock out and enjoy the party with totally honest good time 3 chord boogie. No-one does it better than The Quo!
U need to learn the dance 😅
@@davidroberts6664 Learn it! I invented it back in the day!!!
Now THAT is how you start a show! Fkn amazing! Nobody but nobody beats this band live
Amen brother - they are the best live show ever
Can not agree more.
Kin right man , lessons to be learnt. Never write them off
AMEN.
Try....... live aid bro 😊
I saw these guys in the mid 70’s in St. Louis. The band consisted of 3 guitarists and a drummer. The guys stood in a semi circle head banging the whole concert. To this day it’s still my favorite concert. 🤘🤘
Wrong....Two guitarists and one bass player
@@henrikloiske8572 Since when is a bass player not considered a guitarist?
@@henrikloiske8572erm...... Maths? 😊
Who were they opening for on that occasion?
If I remember correctly, it was Wishbone Ash. They paled in comparison!
Also check out the Frantic 4 concert in which teh original 4 members reunited after 20 years to play a final tour together. Two of the band members are now dead (Rick Parfitt - rhythm guitar; Alan Lancaster - bass)
I was at this show, headlining the second stage at the Download festival, opposite Linkin Park.
I’m a huge fan, I first saw them in 1984 and have seen them about 40 times since.
They were incredible that day.
I didn't go but from the reports they were the standout band of the festival..
Status Quo's first hit was in 1967.
'Pictures of Matchstick Men.'
They've been spreading joy like that here in the UK since the 60's. Many reactors cover the Queen set at the Wembley Stadium 'Live Aid' concert in 1985 - but what not many of them know is that Status Quo started that show in a memorable and thunderous way - setting up the day for all the wonderful bands that were to follow - (I'm a massive Nightwish, Babymetal, Lovebites etc fan) but I still find my way back to Status Quo - they don't get the love and respect they deserve. Take good care of yourself 😊
Agreed - any band could have went on first at Live Aid, but only one band could have opened the show and Quo did just that with the perfect song which, even though it was a was a John Fogerty cover Quo released in 1977, they made it their own and it seemed if it was written for just that occasion.
Yes mate. Bang on
💯
I still get goosebumps when I hear this, can't remember how many times I saw them live, but every time it was great.
There's a track called 4500 times. Listen to the 20min live version 🤘
One of my all time favourite tracks. Also Slow Train off the Quo album. In fact those two albums Quo and Hello are awesome.
More more more QUO please
Finaly mr. Rock and Roll finds Status Quo, the most perfect combination❤
I first heard this tune in the 70s and I've never tired of hearing it. This is a stonking version,
When you go to see Status Quo, you get 2-3 hours of exactly what it says on the tin. Fantastic live band. Sadly only one original member left in the band now but the original line up did get back to together 10 years ago, for what was for me, an emotional re-union. I was blessed to see it live. If you liked this, Try Blue Eyed Lady, Roll over Lay Down, Whatever you Want, Down Down, Roadhouse Blues, 45 Hundred Times, Big Fat Mama and so many more.
Bless you that was your first time- (snigger) lucky you!!
Instant dopamine release as Rick beats the first chord out of his Tele. Just fantastic.
You mentioned it sounds like Can't Stop The Rock. There's a reason for that. They sampled that opening riff of Caroline and used it as the main rhythm of that song.
I've seen these guys live, it was an absolute blast though i was half deaf for a couple days after lol. They have so many bangers, "Down the dustpipe", "Paper plane", "Roll over lay down", "Whatever you want"..., not to mention "Roadhouse blues". RIP Rick Parfitt.
I'm not a fan of Quo really but I've seen them live 5 times down the years, just a great live band.
Not forgetting the bassist, Alan Lancaster, who used to sing this song.
First up. The name of the band is Staytus Quo, but God bless America 😂 Francis Rossi is lead, and Rick Parfitt (the dude with the hair) is rhythm, and is sadly no more. The best thing about this is I saw them at the same venue in the late 70s and this is 36 years later and they still sound great. One of the best rock and roll bands of all time.
Caroline was Radio Caroline, at one time the only UK radio station giving them airplay. Then came the album Piledriver and the rest as they say, is history.
Que bueno verte crazy man tienes una dulce locura rocanklorela saludos argentinos quo the best
Apollo 440 sampled Caroline for "stop the rock".
Great live band. Seen them many times and always good to rock out too
This guy lives for rock and roll, love this reaction. Btw they start every show with Caroline.
My parents took me to see the quo for my 14th birthday. My 1st live show. Blew my little mind they did...also my eardrums
This is how they've started every show since about 1977. A great opener that led straight into, 'Roll Over Lay Down.'
The 1977 to 84 setlists were simply amazing:
Caroline
Roll Over Lay Down
Backwater
Little Lady
Whatever you want
Hold You Back
Rockin all over
Over The Edge
Dirty Water
4500 Times
Big Fat Mama
Don't Waste My Time
Roadhouse Blues
Rain
Down Down
Would have loved to see them then, but was born 30 years too late
now there's a couple of guys who aren't new to being on stage in front of a hundred thousand fans
quo 4500 times live miton keynes 1984. Very best Quo. Luv yer show.
私は1978のAgain and Again からの日本のファンです。
1997に来日した時には日本の小さなライブハウスで彼らを体験出来、本当にラッキーでハッピーだった。
Been a fan of Quo since I heard Pictures of Matchstick Men in 68 and one of my top 5 concerts was this band seen them right after Rick got out of hospital they played for 2 1/2 hours no opening act and I can honestly say is was a hell of a show. Also I remember a show where Slade opened for them that was a wild night, to say the least.
Your reactions are the best - your joy is an absolute delight!❤️🇬🇧❤️
One of my alltime favorite bands since the early 70´s. Happy band, pure rock songs. Such great music! You should definitely react to their best ones like "Down Down", "Rain", "Little Lady", "Roll Over Lay Down" and "Big Fat Mama". For me their early songs are the best ones :-) Thank you Mr.Rock´n Roll, keep on rockin´!
One of your best reactions kiddo.
I haven't heard this song in almost 50 years...
My band covered it in 1973..it's a really good song.
Status Quo always make you feel great...
I had forgotten this feeling until I discovered Band-Maid...but you already know about this.
You have seen the girls live and I hate you...😂
I'm in the UK. I hope that I live long enough to
share the JOY!!
Interesting fact...as Status Quo come on stage the tune that is playing is "Pictures of matchstick men" their first hit. 1968.
Don't forget...you've got to
"Keep running, got to keep running..." Say....
Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello....
Status QUO roll over and lay down !!!! Classic it’s what Quo are all about !!
Best good time live band I ever saw and saw them many times. QUO LIVE was recorded at the Glasgow Apollo my hometown. They opened every show with this song and were relentless start to finish. Awesome ❤
Without disrespecting Quo fans, yes all the songs are like this. Status Quo, are the epitome of a rock and roll, 12 bar blues band. A formula that worked for them so well and as others have explained, 'the quo' have been performing live, for years and years.
Years ago I bought a double LP of Status Quo live. It was released in 1977 but it was a few years after that when I bought it. It would be good if your band can listen to it and maybe get some ideas for songs in a similar vein?
Whatever you Want, Down Down.. Roll over lay Down.. and Rain! All Live-versions please.. In the Army, Rocking all Over the world, Again and again, and so on.. we have hundreds of Quo-songs to like.. 😆
Hi man
Been watching quo since the 70s.
12 bar boogie blues ,that's the quo thing, love it
I love seeing your excitement discovering Quo….they’ve done some great stuff and really know how to play their instruments
I never tire of listening to and watching this. I've seen The Quo a few times and Rick Parfitt is my 'guitar hero'. Glad you're enjoying it, too.
What you are looking at here are master craftsmen, musicians and performers Quo can run any band out of town. They play with the energy of 21 year olds, they deliver everytime from beginning to end.
My all time favourite band, watch the whole concert, they go straight into Paper Plane after that, another 5 minutes of hardcore rocking
Rick was the most powerful 12 bar blues rhythm guitarist ever, the energy he puts in is incredible, the string choice on his strat are so hard on the guitar it needs reworking every gig, as Rick says in the documentary
Seen the Quo 43 times since my first time back in 1981 - one of the best live bands ever, and their 1970's albums were simply awesome 🤘
Check out "Roll over lay down" from their End of the Road tour
Man, you felt the power of Quo.... 🤘
They are fun, upbeat and just make you happy with their music.
They did a few slower songs ' In The Army Now ' for example but they are a fun band on the whole!!!
Man i live your reactions and the way you feel the music
I have an abiding memory of Rick kicking off Caroline with the on off switches on the Marshalls glowing behind him. Any of use, of a certain vintage will remember a wall of Vox AC30s. That touch of feedback as Rick cranked the volume knob and hit that downstroke it cut like a lance!
HEY! I can see myself in that crowd!
Brilliant reaction😂
To date, seen them 34 times in concert in the UK. Last time was before Rick died. Gig was in a small field at the back of a pub in East Yorkshire, a coupleof miles down the road from where I live. A surreal experience if ever there was one. But bloody brilliant as usual. RIP Rick - you're missed.
You need to hear whatever you want and rockin all over the world
Listen to: Slow train ( album: Quo ). It aint slow !!!
This is one of the best reactons I`ve seen . So funny , Quo are an institution here in the UK . Sadly we lost one of them (Rick) and he`ll be sadly missed !
This band makes me rock hard...and yes I mean both meanings!!
This is the best song in the world quo quo quo ❤
Mr Rock N Roll you just got exposed to the relentless and extraordinary force of the greatest boogie rhythm guitarist, the late and great Rick Parfitt. He was one of a kind, a master.
‘Rocking all over the world’ is another good one. Yes the Quo are a happy high energy band from the 70’s.
Hi, if ur looking for a different twist on (as we say in the uk) stay-tus quo not stat us quo, try their “naked” album (all acoustic session) u’ll see the diversity regards E
Yeah I like it, I like it, I like it, I like it, I li-li-like it … Rockin‘ all over the world! Saw these guys three times … happy about that! But best Opener ever is Comin‘ Atcha Live from Tesla! Listen to it!
I seen the mighty quo over 140 times and met them several times, Caroline is one of the best songs, and rick was amazing rip, the band will never be the same without rick
Who'd a' thunk it - Thrash was invented by a bunch of Brits in 1973...
Also, Stop The Rock was originally built around a sample of Caroline, good ear!.
They are the ultimate good time rock band. I love your reactions, so much energy. Please do Roll Over Lay Down, the live 1970's version.
Loved that. Brilliant!!!!
I saw the guys at 2/11/1978 in Dortmund/Germany 💞💞💞
So many great songs by one of the best ever live bands.
Don’t think it matters, Drifting away, Riverside, Whatever you want, Roll over lay down, Don’t waste my time etc.etc.
By the way, it is Status Quo as if you were saying Staytus.
Whatever you hear that sounds like this....came from this. Theyve been doing this since the 70's ( when I first saw them!!😫). They went commercial after a while...sadly. but many of their older hits I still play to this day. Welcome to true headbanging🤣😁👍
SQ are iconic
Nice to see my old favorite band back from the seventies when I was a teenager ❤. I had al their albums.
Caroline is their traditional opener.
Rick Parfit RIP, was the rythem guitar PLAYER. You name a song, I know all of them. Check out:
Down down, or:
Roll over lay down.
Big fat mama
Paperplane
Backwater
The started in the late sixties, it's an band from England. Francis Rossi is the bandleadsingerguitarplayer, from the beginning.
I watched them some years ago in a live show in the Netherlands, near my home town. If you stay on this train it's no problem I have a giant list for you to share.
And we share a new favorite,
FLOOR???? 🤔🤫😉
Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱🔥⚡
I’m 65 right now.
Status Quo were H U G E here in UK & Europe since I was a teenager at school. They were very successful for many many years, playing basic 3 chord rocknroll guitar riffs and had hit single after hit single for decades…
I’m surprised they didn’t break into USA bigtime
I was there and they were fantastic. Some context for you. This was at Download Festival UK 2014. This is the second stage where they headlined on the Saturday night. What you don't see here is that on the Main stage Linkin Park were about to headline. There's normally a crossover of times between the last act finishing on the second stage and the main headliner starting on the main stage. This crowd that you see here for the second stage is the largest I'd ever seen it as normally everyone wants to get a good vantage point for the main headliner but as you can see, people here wanted to get a load of the Quo.
I've seen the Quo countless times, at least 20....they never fail to leave me on a high.
Can’t stop the rock actually sampled this riff for their song
A goosebump inducing start to the show and the way Rick tears into that riff is magnificent. Apollo 440 based Can't Stop the Rock on this track. Quo are still one of the greatest bands in rock.
Still going you come out off a gig with a great smile on your face.
You gotto get more quo on ure channel bro there the best❤
can't stop the rock was actually inspired by ,and used samples from, this song.
J'ai 15 ans pour toujours avec ces quatre là
Age 14, one of the first rock bands I heard on the radio in an English boarding school, they still define rock and roll for me. RIP Rick Parfitt! Those old Dudes can still tear up the place, OMG!
Je suis d'accord, c'était super ! Mais c'est passé, un peu comme moi. Status Quo est un immense groupe et particulièrement sur scène. J'espère qu'ils ne seront pas oubliés, tout comme le rock'n'roll d'ailleurs.
R.I.P rick he was truely a power house of a rhythm player one of the best
Mr Rock n' Roll 11:02 11:02 you might like to know that music Quo walk on to is a riff from their first UK hit in the 60's " Pictures of Matchstick men ". A catchy pop tune from before they reinvented themselves with a heavy sound .
Great reaction fella!
YES!!! I hoped you would do this!👍 More quo!!🤘🤘
@mr.rock n roll if u want more status quo u should do a reaction to this what ever u want that will get u head banging as to ive been a quo fan since i was 9 years old and i am 53 year old now and i still head bang to rock music its great to see u head banging your awesome Dude keep up the videos
Dude I saw em live with their original line up and did the ‘74 live album! It was the most fun show I’ve ever seeen!! Everyone jumping and tossing beer in the air, it was great 😂😂
I was so desperate to go and see Status Quo in concert, that nothing was going to stop me from going when I got tickets. Not even when my appendix burst on Sunday, had surgery the same day, and was at their concert on Friday.
Status Quo are the Absolute Definition of Rock ‘N’ Roll
And Rick Parfitt stood in front of he’s stack ripping the Ass off he’s Guitar He Is
The Absolute Definition Of A Rock Star
My life band 16 -65 ty quo rip rick xxxxxx
seen them maybe 7 or 8 times and got to hang out with them a few times too great band and great people rick will be missed R.I.P
The Quo cover of The Doors song "Roadhouse Blues". Is better than The Doors original..In my view.. Listen to that on the End Of The Road concert '84.. The entire concert is brilliant..
I have seen them 3 times. They are an earthquake of pure delight.
