@@BlahWes0023 funny huh...you would assume that. But oddly enough folks with thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of equipment and hours upon hours of work time can often add up to still not knowing as much as you would think. Maybe some basic courses in metalurgy? stuff like that?
@@bobbertbobby3975 I just don’t like to critique people would probably know more than I do. Also, I would assume this is more for show than use. He also filed the interior of the cut, which I would assume would actually round out those 90• in at least some way.
I liKe that you slim the blade down, those portions make a big difference. Very pleasant look, and in my opinion, a great user experience. Beautiful work, I can see the passion.
A beautiful piece of work, but are you not concerned about the sharp angles on the shoulder creating a place for a crack to occur being that part takes so much force?
if i recall these electric tools heat the metal a whole lot too much and compromise the overall quality of the blade you'd end up with a better tool using a good old stone
Nice. The subtle change in profile made that peice.
Изумительно, отлично, виртуозно, прекрасно!!!
Two thumbs way Up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello! My name is Lauri from Finland :) That's awesome work, very beautiful knife.
I wish can work with you and serving you just for learn me thats art you have made 🌷🌷
Nice Koss my friend 💪
Looks cool! The rounded shoulders are there to distribute stress, and filing them to 90° as you did creates stress risers.
Was wondering that myself, but I figured he knows what he is doing.

@@bobbertbobby3975 If the knife is used as a puukko is intended to be used this makes absolutely no difference whether the corners are round or not.
Its made in Kauhava. You could split a 4inch toolsteel bar with it.
When you ground down that fresh new edge … I felt that …
Glad you’re staying safe.
beautiful puukko

Wow... so beautiful.

What an incredible piece
Why did you square off that nice round transition between tang and blade?
It looks like stress risers to me, where it will break off.
👍👍
absolutely stunning!
How long did it take you to learn how to make these types of things?
2:46 that part is rounded to prevent it from cracking, isnt it?
Is it ok to remove it or does it create a weakspot?
I was thinking it would cause a weak spot also.
That's very wrong
@@marcoalimandi6013 my statement or what he has done?
