Very touching and well made video. Like Dana always says, it's a crazy sport, one fight can change your life. For good or for bad. I've been following Thiago for many years, every speech, every interview, he's that nice, humble and gentle guy. Nothing but respect.
This put me on a rollercoaster of emotions for sure. When he fought Glover, I could see that he was still dangerous, but Glover was on a mission at that point and almost unbeatable. Anyway, wish Santos nothing but the best, he was for sure one of a kind at his prime ❤.
only people who tore their acl and meniscus completely know how impossible this sounds. when i tore mine, i couldnt even extend my leg let alone standing. not to mention the unbearable pain.
His story is both inspirational and sad... Inspirational because he recovered but sad because he didn't recover 100% and was never the same fighter.. After his recovery he's only won 1 fight.. cut from the UFC and lost 7 out of his last 8 fights... and looks to be near retiring...
Thiago santos' knee was already messed up. If you watch his fight vs Anthony Smith you can see him having issues with stability their too. Luckily Smith is an easier fight.
This dudes pain tolerance and mental fortitude are inspiring to me.
Testicular fortitude
Always rooted for Thiago to come back to his old form. A beast and a gentlemen.
Nice to see videos of guys like Santos. His story is better than most of the hype trains they try to blow up.
I’m 4 weeks post op acl reconstruction, both medial and lateral meniscus repair this video gives me hope that I’ll make a full recovery 💪🏻💪🏻🙌
Update;9 weeks post op, now I can walk normal again. I’m back doing cardio on the elliptical 💪🏻
Congrats UFC for this series, best content released so far, truly inspirational! You're a warrior Marreta!

His post fight speech after Jones made me appreciate Thiago 100 times more!
Um guerreiro so quem morou no rio de janeiro sabe

One of the more underrated strikers on the roster
Watching this on my hometrainer bike after two surgeries (shoulder and knee) last year and I feel so inspired and motivated
é um vencedor por natureza. toda minha reverência. massa o ufc produzir esse documentário. são histórias que devem ser contadas inúmeras vezes.
What a beast
He’s an inspiration.

Inspiring aye right then
Still a fan of Mr Santos. His best skill is Muay Thai. If Sagat was Brazillian.
1:08 His knee pops 😳
Makes you realise how underpaid some of these fighters really are
Gave him the brazilian rocky speech😂
Would really like to see Thiago have another successful run one last time maybe retire with the gold
Not a scarier striker in his prime than the sledgehammer…
Thiago Silva The man who kicked JJ ass
santos fucked glover up dude lol. He had one of those cartoon hematomas that looks like a bowling pin.

if youve kept up with santos youll know he was done for T enhancing... respect to the guy but come on man
This is a fucked up title after what Jon Jones does to everyone's knees lol.
