Woody admits when he’s wrong and tries to praise when the other side of the aisle does the right thing. He can be pretty annoying occasionally because he interrupts, but he’s gotten better at it
@@camjohnson5517 That makes sense, thanks for putting it into words. All I really understood was sometimes he’d interrupt someone or have a differing political opinion but nothing that warrants just a torrential downpour of hate.

There is no great filter. It's just a cyclical reproduction of possibilities that are reinstated into the universe. Anything that kills us eventually helps us. We can't have an understanding of good without understanding the bad. What we see as bad is just the universe pushing us towards a more sustainable set of possibilities as a species via an antagonizing "rebirth". We strive towards good, because the bad exists. Therefore the bad is the good, until we reach some set of unified sustainability, or get filtered back and reinstated later within the universe. An inertial push that drives the universe, and our species is just one step of a way bigger, beautiful, mysterious creation.

I like Rodger Penrose's theoretical take on what caused the universe as we know it. He mathmatically and empirically proves that eventually all matter will decay, accept we have yet to ever record electron decay. This makes sense because its possible every single electron in every atom is actually the same electron(Heisenbergs uncertainty priniciple also points to this). Thus if every single piece of matter decays into energy and shoots away leaving only all the electrons which are predicted to not be able to decay... something incredible happens with current physics concepts. If every single electron is the same electron that will mean there is no thing in the universe to observe them(observer effect, simply means interactions). This places all electrons into a super position, ontop of that it also means there is no longer ANY refrence points in the universe. No refrence points means no time, nothing to be relative too. In physics terms this essentially makes the universe, having expanded unthinkably large by the time all this decay happens huge but the moment the last sub atomic particle decays leaving only electrons, all electrons become 1 electron, with no refrence points. Instantly the universe becomes infinity small, infinitly dense, and without time. Thats literally the conditions of the planksecond before the big bang!
Its so brilliant, however it relies on several unproved theories so even he admits its just a wild theory. I love it though because it just cleans everything up and wraps it in a nice bow.

I'm not sure this qualifies as a theory, rather than an unverifiable hypothesis.

@@Tunkkis No, that is by definition a theory. It was constructed out of studies, other theories, and practically understood physics. The data already existed. A hypothesis is a scientific premise WITHOUT pre-existing data. The whole point of a hypothesis is to collect data & verify it (which then makes it a theory.)
If I can't do anything with the answer, what does it matter? Not like make money or get fame, but even help the scientific community or something. Am I gonna write a paper and try and convince them with the source being, "dude, trust me, it was revealed to me in a dream"? By the time they could prove me right is the time they'd figure out the answer themselves anyway, so all it'd be good for is being right ages after I'm dead.

I remember talking to one of my physics professors about what was before the big bang. He had an interesting take on it. He said "it doesn't matter". I was like what of course it does, like don't you want to know what was before? And he was like: "No, because that would be before the laws of physics or science as we know it and thus would have no bearing on our world. It's nothing, irrelevant.". This still kinda shocked me because it's like well surely at the very least it represents the impetus for our world would could have profound scientific value to how and why our universe is the way it is and even tell us if or when the universe will end and also if another will follow or if we could simply start one any time, like there's a lot that I think could effect our universe from a previous state. I just found that answer from a proper doctorate in physics to be such a weird cope, it felt like when religious people are all "God created everything" and your like "who created God?" And they are like "no one, he always was and I don't care to even consider the impossibility of an infinity based impetus for a finite world." And it's like.. uh oh Kay... So you're just going to square that circle by pretending it's not an issue, I cal shenanigans.

A hypothesis that goes along with what we observe is that every atom will eventually bounce off each other enough times in the right ways that they will no longer ever have a way of interacting again. This explains why the universe is observed to be expanding and so seemingly infinite.
It is likely we live within the equivalent of a jar. We all elbow and push only to find that the jar is (seemingly) infinite. Eventually, our never ending (seemingly) spirit for adventure leads to each one of us finding so much freedom that we alone could not make contact with anyone else again.
The Big Bang in this hypothesis is that something caused the domino effect of atoms clashing into each other to create mass>force>etc that we observe as life.

when it comes to the fermies paradox, I like the analogy that we humans trying to find intelligent life in the universe given our current technological prowess is akin to trying to catch a fish with a cup in the ocean. the universe is just so big that the chances we are alone are close to zero, but the chances that there is a hyper species on our level or above in the next 10 star systems that we'd be above to properly observe from earth with our satellites is.
The las vegas shooter was rumored to have help, possibly from gov agencies bc so much was covered up.
Lahaina chief of police is/was john pelletier during the maui fires. He is also illegally the coroner there. All kinds of suspishy things happened before during and after those fires. Officers closed off roads while people tried to escape only to be stuck in or turned back in to the fire. Thousands of people are missing but somehow only just over 100 are declared deceased.
Pelletier was also in the higher ranks of las vegas police force during that shooting. John also had fbi high ups at his law enforcement graduation ceremony.
