    Sumana Biswas, born in 1980, has a diverse educational background and a rich artistic career. She completed a Bachelor of Visual Art with a specialization in Applied Art from Rabindra Bharati University (1999-2004). In 2016-17, she completed the Google Certified Professional Program in Digital Marketing from Manipal Prolearn in association with Google, Bangalore. Additionally, in 2014, she pursued a Certificate Course in Script Writing for screenplay through workshops conducted by renowned Bengali Film Director Mr. Atanu Ghosh.
    Sumana holds a Certificate in Acting from the Institute of Media Entertainment (2011) and a PG Certificate in Appreciation of Indian art with a specialization in Applied Art from Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Kolkata, where she ranked first in her dissertation on "Manada Sundarir Kantha" (2010).
    Sumana Biswas has an impressive exhibition history, showcasing her paintings in various prestigious venues. In 2015, she participated in a group show at Chitrakut Art Gallery in Kolkata in February. In 2012, she had a duo show at IL SOGNO (Italian) Restaurant in Kolkata in October and a group show at Academy of Fine Arts, Gallery new south B, Kolkata in September, which was organized to support the NGO-HRIDAYA FAMILY owned by former footballer Mr. Chima Okorie. Sumana also designed the event. In 2010, she participated in a group show at Studio Napean Gallery in Mumbai in December and the Shimul International Painting Challenge at Gorky Sadan, Kolkata, in October. The year 2009 saw her involvement in the Shimul International Painting Challenge, a painting competition and workshop organized by Shimul Music Circle in association with The Russian Center of Science and Culture, Kolkata, in December. She also participated in a group show at Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore, in November, and had a sponsored group show at Eye on Art Gallery, Kolkata, in April-May. Additionally, she contributed to group shows at various galleries such as Karma Art Gallery, Kolkata, in March and a 'Nirvana' sponsored group show at Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore, in January.
    Sumana has actively engaged in art camps and workshops, demonstrating her commitment to artistic development. In 2015, she participated in an Origami Workshop conducted by filmmaker Sudarshan Juyal in Dehradun in May. In 2014, she was selected as one of the three participants for the International Documentary Film Making Workshop in Dhaka, Bangladesh, during the Dhaka Film Festival organized by Rainbow Film Society, Dhaka, in January. Notable contributions in 2013 include her participation in an Art Camp organized by KMOMART, Kolkata, in January, a Theater Workshop taken by Gobardanga Shilpayan organized by Oihik-Srishti sukher ullashi, Kolkata, in August, and a Workshop on Acting in front of Camera taken by Eminent Film Director Bishnu Maity organized by AFT, Kolkata, also in August. In December of the same year, she took part in a Workshop on Screenplay Script Writing conducted by eminent Film Director Atanu Ghosh and organized by SKG Media NITS, Kolkata.
    Sumana has received recognition for her artistic contributions, earning the HiFive Employee of Zigy.com for best performance in 2016. In 2010, she was awarded the First Prize in Dissertation on "Manada Sundarir Nakshi Kantha" during her PG Certificate in Appreciation of Indian art (History of art). The year 2009 saw her receiving a Special certificate in the Shimul International Painting Challenge.
    Sumana Biswas continues to make meaningful contributions to the art world, actively participating in exhibitions, workshops, and earning well-deserved accolades for her artistic endeavors.
    In the realm of acting, Sumana has been involved in various projects, serving as a lead actress and contributing to communication, set design, and costumes. She has collaborated with OIHIK, Calcutta Performers, and Theater Place, working on productions like "Srishti Sukher Ullashi," "Tamal Rai Chowdhury," and "Gourinath Banerjee."
    Sumana's foray into feature films includes notable works such as "Abby Sen" directed by Atanu Ghosh (2014), "Hemlock Society" directed by Srijit Mukherjee (2011), and "Ak Phali Rodh" directed by Atanu Ghosh (2011).
    Apart from her artistic pursuits, Sumana has actively participated in art camps, workshops, and received awards. Notable awards include the Special Certificate in the Shimul International Painting Challenge (2009) and the first prize in her dissertation on "Manada Sundarir Nakshi Kantha" during her PG Certificate course.
