    Fucking hell, I'm not even old enough to remember this time but the music and Grace Slick's gorgeousness takes me back to a time I shall never know. Some things never really change though I guess, legendary stuff.

    Jack Cassidy was one of the greatest bass players in rock n' roll and his powerful bass lines delivered the driving force of the Jefferson Airplane sound which, together with the other musicians was half the equation. Grace Slick's trademark voice and persona provided the other half of the equation of this most highly successful and iconic rock band.

    • @Pimp-Master
      @Pimp-Master Год назад

      I like the bass where it slowly creeps up into the next verse...sorta ties everything together without resorting to a cheesy turn around.

    Hey, Grace Slick.. what a phenomenal voice! One of the best gigs I ever went to was a double-bill of The Doors and Jefferson Airplane, Summer of 68 I think, at the Roundhouse, Chalk Farm London.. Now That's a memory I cherish! Love it.. Px :))

    A time I will never have the privilege to fathom, yet I covet the slightest state of occurrence. One of the most vigorously, proscribed, enthralling voices I think there will ever be. Her eyes infiltrate my psyche; I am humbled by the cosmic profundity of her being. Grace Slick your talents are a muse that demand approbation for the edification of generations to come. This aptitude is not finite to a generation; they are to be esteemed for those with the aptitude for perpetuity.

It was included in a documentary on the first 25 years of lunar exploration, and it included (mainly American) cultural things as well. I really liked hearing it, so i decided to look it up when i got home, so here it is! Great song!!

    @Frank332666 I've been taking a historical journey back to 1969 through the music, movies and events of that year and those leading up to it. Without the drugs and political pressure of the age, I am re-living this time of of free love and introspection as well as the historical feelings of the time period. I am studying The Doors and Jim Morrison, Led Zeppelin and Steppenwolf, movies like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and Easy Rider as well as the Apollo 11 and 12 Moon Landings.

    to all the people wanting to be born in the 60s. you don't have to reborn in the past. just change the future! create a new channel and make people follow you. that's what this people where trying to do! and they didn't succeed , we might do it better....
    here is a good example from today. music can be fun,happy, profound, and successful. enjoylife.
