can we setup a sensor just monitor a static IP source address and collect all data?

Is there a possibility we can have PRTG populate the DSCP values in the netflow data?

Hey Santosh Kumar Kotla, you could use the Netflow Custom Sensor www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/netflow_v9_custom_sensor and filter for that (see: www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/filter_rules_for_flow_ipfix_and_packet_sniffer_sensors)

Hello, I have an issue with this sensor. It seems to detect only some traffic, not all of it. For example speedtests, mails and some websites are detected, but watching youtube videos doesn't affect the traffic. Live streams from twitch aren't detected correctly: prtg sometimes shows near 0 traffic in one minute of watching 5 streams, and sometimes shows correctly. Do you know what might cause this issue?

Hi there :) This would depend on the netflow configuration on the device and the scaning interval. PRTG doesnt manipulate the flow data, it just displays the data as it is received from the device. So the netflow configuration needs to be checked to make sure it is sending flow data from all the interfaces.
I hope that will help you! If not let us know!

How can i check which user use high bandwidth with ip address in my whole network using PRTG?

Hello Sanket, in order to check the bandwidth usage by IPs you can have a look at the "TopTalkers" Toplist (shown at 4:20). For further questions on this, feel free to reach out to us directly per mail at support@paessler.com
