I don't mind hearing about the batteries one bit! That's how I found your vlog several years ago! We'd just had a wind storm here on the prairie of central Illinois. The power had gone out and an elderly neighbor was sleeping without her CPAP machine. I started looking up reviews on the Jackery and other batteries to try to convince her to get one to run her CPAP. I happened upon your Jackery review and the rest is history! I had never heard of narrowboats or the British canal system. But I'd spent my childhood "out in the weather" working on the family farm and taking care of a horse. So your travels in the wind and the rain, and your cold sunny days take me right back to those days when often the sweetest part was stepping into the cozy house with supper waiting. Thanks for reminding me! May you and Bonnie have many more years exploring on your beautiful canals. All the best, MadSci/MadDog aka Deb and Winnie (my rescued white German Shepherd-Husky)
Heidi, you are a very nice nutcase, you are never nasty with your comments or about people, that is why your subscribers stick around ... love your attitude to life, thank you for your post. 👍🏴☠
.Thank you Heidi and Bonnie for sharing your latest cruise, I do like to see all the generous people who leave you all those wonderful gifts. It does my heart good to see your viewers showing their appreciation for your shows. All the best Heidi and Bonnie ❤Stephen.
Heidi don't ever apologise for babbling thats why all us nutcase's love you and your channel.😂 Laughed too much at your cold eyeballs 😂......and naughty Jim😉. Keep warm , good luck getting your gears sorted and enjoy that warming tipple.😂
So good to see Heidi and Bonny again on their travels,, Bonny looks so relaxed sitting on the roof, ecky thump that's a strong rum you have there, to be enjoyed in moderation, weather here is quite white at the minute, I hope your gearbox gets sorted, Thank You so much for taking us on your travels, looking forward to the next one.
Do hope the problem with the gear thing is now sorted now nice you met up with your friend Nicky again and the dogs remembered each other grand vlog has always babble on has much has you like lol tc the oldies
That Lemon Hart & Son rum is truly powerful stuff - 75% alcohol (151 proof for US tipplers). One story I heard is that 151 proof rums were popularised among early expedition ships heading towards the Arctic Circle as they had enough alcohol content so as not to freeze. So if your narrowboat gets frozen in this winter, your special 75% rum should get you through the worst of the weather.
I came upon your channel 2 years ago and you had me at ( tighter than a nuns chuff)😂 I absolutely adore you!! I'm in the US, much love to u, stay babbling babe..love Cindy
I think you and Bonny will really get along with an air Fryer. We have one and it is really works good for us. We take it with us in our RV and use it outside. It is a little hard to clean up however. Looking forward to watching how you get along this Winter. Burrrrr.
I enjoy your babble! You taking care and loving 🥰 Bonnie is one of the best things. We get so much from our dogs, I know, but you have helped one lucky little soul. 🐶 and that’s fantastic! Happy cruising. 🚤
Its alwats good to see the sun 🌞. Our weather has gone rainy and cold, and then snow ❄️, oh joy. Bonnie looks cute in her little coat... my overproof days are behind me, that's all i can say. Lovely to have presents
❤ I do know a lot about getting it in gear from the rear- don’t be rude! And usually a bit more oil and a slap on the side helps. Although sometimes it has to do with the angle of the dangle. ❤🎉😂😂😂😂
The happiest nutcase on the cut Heidi 😊 just promise you will NEVER change ❤ the nutcase aura is rubbing off on Bonny too 😂😂 I love seeing her, when she’s being a daft, divvy nutcase, she’s such a happy girl ❤❤
We use our air fryer for almost everything that the oven can do it normally knocks a few mins off the time. Always look forward to Heidi Day and our weekly chill out.
Hi Heidi, have you ever thought about getting a Honda Or Yamaha generator? They are super quiet, and you wouldn’t even hardly hear them. Just a thought none of my business. Lots of love from Australia.
I found my great grandma used to play in the arts the time William Shakespeare was alive how crazy. To think my great great mother was around England at that time 😊😊😊
Flipping heck, have you seen how much that rum costs!? You have quite the mystery admirer there!! I wish you hadn't turned away from Wolverhampton. I was hoping you would go there. Until I was 11 I lived with a canal at the bottom of my garden near Wolverhampton and practically lived on it. Would love to have seen the canal network around there

Heidi you will sleep after that rum l really think your have your boat so cosy and nice l was just thinking about the long bar you push forward and noticed that the wooden blocks with holes in on the ceiling what the rod goes threw are getting quite worn maybe you could have some one put new ones in with possibly a metal ring inside the blocks to stop the wood wearing away and maybe the rod will move smoother. best wishes to you and Bonny take care have a nice weekend 😊😊❤
Yes to an air fryer. I’ve got two, a cheap one that is a simple air fryer. Also a Ninja Max, that air fries, slow cooks, pressure cooks, steams, grills, roasts, bakes, sautés and more. With the two I never need my oven! They may be power hungry, especially the Ninja, not a problem for me living on-land but may be to you on a boat. Lovely vlog as always, stay warm and safe both of you. xxxx
Ahhhhh, Lemonhart 'Overproof 151' - that'll keep you warm, whether you drink it or set something on fire with it, ha! You were on form with the innuendo this week, hope your gearbox is sorted!
It makes me smile when you arrive on you tube ❤😊 you chill 😎 or is the Swan on the water statement correct everything serene on the surface but the legs of the Swan going like billio under the water 💧 I think that is a great analysis of stress lol ❤😊

Hi Heidi, I haven’t written a message to you in a few months. I’m still subscribed and I love your vlogs. I enjoy your art from your travels. Bonnie is doing so good with big dogs. It’s really nice of people to leave treasures for you, and Bonnie. You’re very special Heidi. So I see why someone came from Florida to meet you. I’m sure they were disappointed when they found we weren’t there. I like dark rum. It’s good for mixing. Be safe, and I’ll see you next week. I always get real excited when I see that you posted a video, it was driving me crazy all day and there was a video here and I was running errands and getting my car fixed and other things, didn’t have a chance to watch it earlier, but I’m watching it now.
Because sun is so low in sky, could you not hang the panels along side of boat to get more direct rays on them, plus even Bonny had a look at that premature turn :)
Fisting, holes, nuts and cock ups... there's something you don't hear everyday 😂😂 Cap'n Cheeky Innuendo is back and making us laugh! Great to see Nicki and Finn again ( hope you gave her back the mop you "borrowed" ages ago!) Love the technically detailed explanation of how your gearing system works - I feel like an expert now 😜🤣🤣 Stay warm and take care Captain 🏴☠️🏳️🌈 Btw- That lady reversing the boat- what a legend!! It takes me 2 hours faffing just to reverse my boat 2 feet- what's the secret 😆
Winter is definitely here. warmed up to 15F from -15F here. (that's below 0C for you folks) Yuk. I was shortening foundation posts at my sister's house. Weather turned to a misty rain at the end. Don't like rain in winter. Always been surprised that your gear system worked so well. If that rod loses some stiffness (don't be rude) with age or many places where moving joints could become stiff from wear with age. Hope it's a simple fix. As always I enjoy your videos.
Hey Heidi omgoodness you are a professional u made that turn so good wow, so good to see Bonnie and all. I love this time year too we are chilly at night 8°C the high in Orlando is 17°C. I enjoyed watching see ya soon 😊your friend Cindy from Orlando Florida ❄️🏝❤️
I've got one of those floppy Bluetti solar panels. What they don't tell you is they're not all weather. You can't leave them out in snow or rain. So it's true what they say, a floppy one is useless when it's cold and wet.
My airfryer is the best thing I've bought in years , I got rid of my full size oven as I never used it , I cook everything in the airfryer and the microwave , the trick with the airfryer is to reduce the cooking temperatures and times by about 20% , you will wonder how you managed without one .
Hi Heidi HOPE YOU ARE OK, The sound of your boat I love it Bonny has really took to the lifestyle she is such a lovely little dog take care lovely lady X
Hi Heidi, while you prepare for winter I’m preparing for summer, it’s going to be 35C or 95F today in Melbourne! I find it hard to believe you found your tipple too strong🤣 Loved seeing Nicki again, any plans to catch up and travel through winter? Linda
Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, your videos are always an absolute joy to watch Heidi.

I’ve a Yamaha one and it’s much quieter than my engine but getting petrol is a bit of a faff as the marinas and coal boats don’t sell it

Don't like rain in winter. Always been surprised that your gear system worked so well. If that rod loses some stiffness (don't be rude) with age or many places where moving joints could become stiff from wear with age. Hope it's a simple fix. As always I enjoy your videos.
Thank you 😃🏴☠️❤️
Hey Heidi omgoodness you are a professional u made that turn so good wow, so good to see Bonnie and all. I love this time year too we are chilly at night 8°C the high in Orlando is 17°C. I enjoyed watching see ya soon 😊your friend Cindy from Orlando Florida ❄️🏝❤️
Awww thanks Cindy xxxx -3 here at the moment
I've got one of those floppy Bluetti solar panels. What they don't tell you is they're not all weather. You can't leave them out in snow or rain.
So it's true what they say, a floppy one is useless when it's cold and wet.
Yeah I know but it’s really good still, I just put it out on nice days
@@TheNarrowboatPirate Yep, all part of the kerfuffle of boat life. Still better than living in a house 🙂
So happy to see your video! Just love your vlogs x
Thanks so much 😊
My airfryer is the best thing I've bought in years , I got rid of my full size oven as I never used it , I cook everything in the airfryer and the microwave , the trick with the airfryer is to reduce the cooking temperatures and times by about 20% , you will wonder how you managed without one .
I can’t wait 😃🏴☠️❤️
Hi Heidi HOPE YOU ARE OK, The sound of your boat I love it Bonny has really took to the lifestyle she is such a lovely little dog take care lovely lady X
Thank you 😃🏴☠️❤️
Hi Heidi, while you prepare for winter I’m preparing for summer, it’s going to be 35C or 95F today in Melbourne! I find it hard to believe you found your tipple too strong🤣 Loved seeing Nicki again, any plans to catch up and travel through winter? Linda
Not this time I’m afraid it was just a very brief catch up 😃
Nothing like a Fire Breathing Rum Wench ! !
🤣🤣
I wish I wasn't so far away Heidi would come and give your box a good going over
😂😂
Love all your vlogs. Years ago my old dad showed me how to do fire breathing tricks with that sort of high powered rum.
