Yes they were fighting over the light.... the keyblade war is the ultimate irony that they were all tricked by their own master.... the master of masters wanted them to open kingdom hearts for him pretty much. Since he can "see the future" he probably saw what kingdom hearts was and turned into the darkness long ago before even picking his appetences.... he is like sarumon from the lord of the rings... living as an eye in the keyblade passed down to master to master.... now in the hands of xehenort... but it all is well that sora and his friends will beat the shit out of him in some epic boss fight that will make us cum all over.
Dragonk116 not quite. There is a possible reason why the Master of Master's is so calm in Back Cover. Since he does know what will happened in the future, he's not from that timeline because of how his students speak respectfully and he speakes jokefuly. If his keyblade can see the future, wouldn't he have seen what happeneds after Kingdom Hearts 3, Xehanorts defeat? What would be the point of tricking his students if he can already see how Xehanort failed to open Kingdom Hearts?
LALO_KILLER17 The Master of Masters clearly knows what he is doing. Also if that's his real eye... I can't imagine him looking very human...... even the villains in KH do not have eyes like that. So its like I said, he most likely turned to the darkness long ago. As for my theory, his heart is probably in the key blade itself... I mean he did attach his dam eye to the thing so I can't see why he can't attach his heart to it as well. Even if you know the future it doesn't mean there can still be unpredictable factors that appear. This is all just theory and speculation on my part so don't take it too seriously.

OK I GOT IT KNOW THE STORY OF WHO THE MASTER IS. So heres how it goes and I think this Theory is the truth. Now first lets talk about each of the six names Ira-Wrath Aced-Sloth Lux-Lust Gula-Gluttony Invi-Envy Ava-Greed Now we have the six names meaning, each one is base on a sin, but the final one is missing AKA the Master The Master-Typhus/Superbia-Pride Now The Master tells everyone there BUT Lux that they have two roles. One hidden role and the second role known by all. The Master is pridful in himself, he plays his students like puppets. The Master is the tratior and his true name is Superbia or Typhus, but the define latin term for pride is Superbia. So Superbia is the true tratior. He trains Lux and has him past down the keyblade to others. Those wielders of No Name have a lust a lust for power. While Superbia watches waiting for his time. So in truth the war would never had happen, if the Five didn't listen to his teachings and work has a single unit, but cause he gave them rules. He knew by adding the traitor who is master to the mix. They would fight and create the war, thus giving him his opening. So there you have it Superbia AKA the master is the traitor within the book.

Zwei dude you don't understand. Keyblades doesn't choose mad people at 1st. They choose good hearts but even if they become coerupted later the krynlade won't go away. So the master was good at 1st but changed down the road. So that's the question. The 1st world of kh was an utopia all worlds together in peace and light. in Greek mythology, it isn't uncommon for people to be told what their fate and destiny is. But in the long run, it's they're attempts to prevent it that inevitably causes their fate to happen. He planned it out from the very beginning. He knew they'd try to prevent the war from happening, he knew that the doubt he planted would cause them to fight each other, and that their followers would follow suit.

Looking at this it seems my suspicions were true. The Master of Masters has got to be involved with the traitor if not the traitor himself. Look at his gestures and how he talks, its obvious the Master of Masters of CLEARLY a very smart man. He knows exactly what hes doing, what to say and HOW TO SAY IT and what will happen with each respective apprentice that he gives a role to. For people that believe its Luxu, I dont think this is the case. Luxu is doing as he is told, but I feel that whatever unfolds with Luxu, the blame will fall on him making Luxu seemingly the traitor when he's not. Its clearly the Master's plan and he is playing his apprentices like a fiddle.

After playing KH Unchained/Backcover ---> Dream Drop Distance, all I can say is that the Master of Master's is a vague hypocritical douchebag who enjoys toying with others and ** SPOILERS** is the true main villain of the entire series (explained below). Point #1: (Based on Chronology, Chaos Theory, and String Theory) To correct the Master of Master's remark about Fate and Destiny when he straight-up lied to Ira; The Past "Was" and cannot be changed, The Present "Is" and is being actively written, The Future "Will Be" unless current events alter it. Those with Foresight (future vision) know that the Future is merely infinite realms of possibilities. Countless paths and outcomes that may or may not happen, and that constantly change. So, it is actually very easy for someone in the present to alter the course of the future. Prophecies from Foresight can give some general insight into the future, but it is highly inaccurate. That's why prophecies about someone's fate or destiny often wind up being completely false, or at best, diverting from original estimates and projections. **The only way to know for certain that a specific future's outcome will come to pass, is if you actively meddle with the past or the present to make sure that a very specific chain of events occur to create that specific future/fate/destiny (hint) (hint). Point #2: BOTH Light and Darkness have to exist. They are, in fact, both sides of the same coin. Either one out of balance creates chaos. The simply truth is that "light and darkness" can coexist in harmony together when they're balanced and allowed to simple be what they are to create a whole. In essence, becoming stronger together then when they were separate (think The Land of Departure where light and darkness exist in harmony, and Sora and Riku). Or, "light and darkness" can exist in chaos, constantly warring with each other in an attempt for dominance. So, for the Foretellers to attempt to eradicate darkness from the realm and try to only "safeguard the light," they were in fact, creating a massive amount of chaos that would lead to catastrophic events. Of which, the Master of Master's had to have known about and foreseen. Point #3: The Master of Master's set everything up from the start. From his often hypocritical, cryptic, indirect, and unsubstantial commentary; to his laissez-faire and hands-off approach to leadership. A) It's common knowledge that organizations work better as one solid unit where everyone has the same mission, vision, and goals, and an equal stake in the organization. By creating strict distinct roles and making Ira the "leader" of the Foretellers when all the Foretellers were basically the same, set the group up for dysfunction. B) Dividing up and forcing Keyblade wielders into 5 separate factions that are in direct competition with each other doesn't do anything positive for unity, moral, and trust. C) The Master of Master's up and quitting/vanishing from his own organization without so much as word or any further instruction and leaving everything up to his subordinates, created an environment of failure. It doesn't work in real life, and it doesn't work in Kingdom Hearts. D) The Master of Master's took on and trained Luxu in secrete. He gave him the No Name Keyblade with his own Gazing Eye affixed to it and tasked Luxu to pass down the No Name Keyblade from Master to Apprentice so that the specific chain of events that led to the Master of Master's creating the Book of Prophecies would come to pass (The Master of Master's is quite literally meddling with the past, present, and the future and creating the outcomes he so desires). Due to temporal paradox, The Master of Master's needed to make sure that Luxu passed on the No Name to Master Xehanort, who had the ability to time travel, thus ensuring the Master of Master's had his "eye" in the Past, Present, and Future and could alter the timeline however he saw fit.
I find it interesting that Ava stated that the Dandelions would flee to the Realm of Sleep ("...a world that is different. one made of dreams" as she says"). We know this must be the Unchained portion but may connect with Ven. Nomura did say that a key art he drew would be important in Season 2 of Kingdom Hearts chi. Maybe the world they were in stayed in the Realm of Sleep and stayed as it was. Just like Sora and Riku visited past moments in DDD, maybe Ventus accidentally found his way to their world in the RoS. Meeting with Skuld, Ephemer, the player, and possibly Maleficent he gathered information from the past to help the pack in the future.

your right about the sigil being X (Chi) but your wrong about Luxu the traitor is the Master of Masters. The X (Chi) in question is obviously the X Blade and since the Master gave his apprentices their keyblades which were made in its image he has it. He betrayed them by playing them for fools. He played them for fools by deliberately giving them roles that would lead them into conflict with each other hence he started the damn war.
I have an interesting thought about this. I think the master of masters didnt puppet foretellers at all and neither he was the traitor, at least not alone. The traitor wasnt one only, but all of them. Every foreteller eventually began to show darkness shades at the end, each one was slowly growing darkness within , because of the so known "bangle" (which is guilt in kingdom hearts unchained X) and since all of them used this kind of power (they even say this in the movie) , they eventually fall into dark, because we all know from previous games that "darkness grows within hearts, and starts to consume it" even those who never thought on givin up, eventually are overwhelmed by darkness. This is why Master of Masters and Luxu, even tho they're hearts were consumed too (its clearly that at this point, each character has used darkness power in his own,somehow) they wear the black coates, so this way were able to protect themselves and the only two who actually were not "fully traitors" but instead some kind of saviours. If it wasnt for them, the world after these events would have been only darkness, instead, MoM, thanks to Luxu's help, saw what was about to happen, and decided to send (through Ava) key blade weilders with pure hearts throughout the worlds, so they saved the dark/light balance from the "inevitable" war which could have brought to a different end if,again, it wasnt for them. So at the end, MoM and Luxu, even tho were probably the ones who used darkness the most, were not traitors or puppeters but actually saved the world from the inevitable keyblade war by saving fragment of lights and sending them far away. Guys the traitors were the foretellers after all because they used darknes power and thought of never being overwhelmed without some sort of protection (like the coats) and fell into darkside so the keyblade war started..this is the truth sadly :( ..
Braig (Xigbar) is masters of masters as first of all he has a similar voice and personality and braig helps out xehanort a lot in bbs also xigbar says to xehanort i have my own plans and we know he can control time as he can warp/teleport another thing is that the masters of masters could be some one in xehenorts 13 darknesses and xigbar is one of them. also Ven could be linked with Luxu as you see xehenort had ven in the beginning of bbs and no one really knows much about vens past also ven could have done what xehenort done to terra take over some one elses body but forget everything so ven might not actually be ven but we dont know vens past

Buff... i'm soooo lost. So, the keyblade has an eye that let the master see everything that happens and the mision of Luxu is to have an aprentice and gave to him the Keyblade... until Xehanort. Unless... the master of masters is NOT the master of masters, but instead one of Xehanort's darkness's vessels who make a paradox in time inorder to make all the sets in motion. And no, Xehanort couldn't travel to this Time due to no Xehanorts existing yet. (Xehanort can only time travel to a time where he already exists, such as when Ansem SoD went back in time to when Xehanort was a teenager.)

ShadwDragn There were no traitors. The master's rules were meant to create distrust among the members. He knew about the Keyblade war and played is part in ensuring that it would happen in the future. Meaning the Master was the traitor all along.
I don't know about anyone else, but this was fuckin disappointing. Yeah sure we get some more insight into the motivations behind everyones actions, but I feel like it didn't really uncover anything truly surprising. Just have to wait for .2 to come out and see if it explains any of this BS.

I just came to a realization. The master of masters left WITHOUT the no name KB, having passed it on to Luxu. In BBS and in KH3 we see the no name keyblade hanging above a mantle, before Xehanort inherits the blade. This would indicate that Luxu, who we find out later is Xigbar, was the master to Eraqus and Xehanort! This means we haven’t even seen Luxu’s final form. He’s been playing with us this whole time. Xigbar really is a keyblade master and could still be one of the new lights.
I actually just noticed that the foretellers' keyblades have animal head symbols on them, and luxu's keyblade has that as well. I think it's an ox, if so, that would make sense since it has an "X" in its name.

Since he does know what will happened in the future, he's not from that timeline because of how his students speak respectfully and he speakes jokefuly. If his keyblade can see the future, wouldn't he have seen what happeneds after Kingdom Hearts 3, Xehanorts defeat? What would be the point of tricking his students if he can already see how Xehanort failed to open Kingdom Hearts?

So its like I said, he most likely turned to the darkness long ago. As for my theory, his heart is probably in the key blade itself... I mean he did attach his dam eye to the thing so I can't see why he can't attach his heart to it as well. Even if you know the future it doesn't mean there can still be unpredictable factors that appear. This is all just theory and speculation on my part so don't take it too seriously.

OK I GOT IT KNOW THE STORY OF WHO THE MASTER IS.
So heres how it goes and I think this Theory is the truth.
Now first lets talk about each of the six names
Ira-Wrath
Aced-Sloth
Lux-Lust
Gula-Gluttony
Invi-Envy
Ava-Greed
Now we have the six names meaning, each one is base on a sin, but the final one is missing AKA the Master
The Master-Typhus/Superbia-Pride
Now The Master tells everyone there BUT Lux that they have two roles. One hidden role and the second role known by all. The Master is pridful in himself, he plays his students like puppets.
The Master is the tratior and his true name is Superbia or Typhus, but the define latin term for pride is Superbia. So Superbia is the true tratior. He trains Lux and has him past down the keyblade to others. Those wielders of No Name have a lust a lust for power. While Superbia watches waiting for his time.
So in truth the war would never had happen, if the Five didn't listen to his teachings and work has a single unit, but cause he gave them rules. He knew by adding the traitor who is master to the mix. They would fight and create the war, thus giving him his opening.
So there you have it Superbia AKA the master is the traitor within the book.

He planned it out from the very beginning. Looking at this it seems my suspicions were true. The Master of Masters has got to be involved with the traitor if not the traitor himself. Look at his gestures and how he talks, its obvious the Master of Masters of CLEARLY a very smart man. He knows exactly what hes doing, what to say and HOW TO SAY IT and what will happen with each respective apprentice that he gives a role to. For people that believe its Luxu, I dont think this is the case. Luxu is doing as he is told, but I feel that whatever unfolds with Luxu, the blame will fall on him making Luxu seemingly the traitor when he's not. Its clearly the Master's plan and he is playing his apprentices like a fiddle.

After playing KH Unchained/Backcover ---> Dream Drop Distance, all I can say is that the Master of Master's is a vague hypocritical douchebag who enjoys toying with others and ** SPOILERS** is the true main villain of the entire series (explained below).
Point #1: (Based on Chronology, Chaos Theory, and String Theory) To correct the Master of Master's remark about Fate and Destiny when he straight-up lied to Ira; The Past "Was" and cannot be changed, The Present "Is" and is being actively written, The Future "Will Be" unless current events alter it. Those with Foresight (future vision) know that the Future is merely infinite realms of possibilities. Countless paths and outcomes that may or may not happen, and that constantly change. So, it is actually very easy for someone in the present to alter the course of the future. Prophecies from Foresight can give some general insight into the future, but it is highly inaccurate. That's why prophecies about someone's fate or destiny often wind up being completely false, or at best, diverting from original estimates and projections. **The only way to know for certain that a specific future's outcome will come to pass, is if you actively meddle with the past or the present to make sure that a very specific chain of events occur to create that specific future/fate/destiny (hint) (hint).
Point #2: BOTH Light and Darkness have to exist. They are, in fact, both sides of the same coin. Either one out of balance creates chaos. The simply truth is that "light and darkness" can coexist in harmony together when they're balanced and allowed to simple be what they are to create a whole. In essence, becoming stronger together then when they were separate (think The Land of Departure where light and darkness exist in harmony, and Sora and Riku). Or, "light and darkness" can exist in chaos, constantly warring with each other in an attempt for dominance. So, for the Foretellers to attempt to eradicate darkness from the realm and try to only "safeguard the light," they were in fact, creating a massive amount of chaos that would lead to catastrophic events. Of which, the Master of Master's had to have known about and foreseen.
Point #3: The Master of Master's set everything up from the start. From his often hypocritical, cryptic, indirect, and unsubstantial commentary; to his laissez-faire and hands-off approach to leadership.
A) It's common knowledge that organizations work better as one solid unit where everyone has the same mission, vision, and goals, and an equal stake in the organization. By creating strict distinct roles and making Ira the "leader" of the Foretellers when all the Foretellers were basically the same, set the group up for dysfunction.
B) Dividing up and forcing Keyblade wielders into 5 separate factions that are in direct competition with each other doesn't do anything positive for unity, moral, and trust.
C) The Master of Master's up and quitting/vanishing from his own organization without so much as word or any further instruction and leaving everything up to his subordinates, created an environment of failure. It doesn't work in real life, and it doesn't work in Kingdom Hearts.
D) The Master of Master's took on and trained Luxu in secrete. He gave him the No Name Keyblade with his own Gazing Eye affixed to it and tasked Luxu to pass down the No Name Keyblade from Master to Apprentice so that the specific chain of events that led to the Master of Master's creating the Book of Prophecies would come to pass (The Master of Master's is quite literally meddling with the past, present, and the future and creating the outcomes he so desires). Due to temporal paradox, The Master of Master's needed to make sure that Luxu passed on the No Name to Master Xehanort, who had the ability to time travel, thus ensuring the Master of Master's had his "eye" in the Past, Present, and Future and could alter the timeline however he saw fit.

I find it interesting that Ava stated that the Dandelions would flee to the Realm of Sleep ("...a world that is different. one made of dreams" as she says"). We know this must be the Unchained portion but may connect with Ven. Nomura did say that a key art he drew would be important in Season 2 of Kingdom Hearts chi. Maybe the world they were in stayed in the Realm of Sleep and stayed as it was. Just like Sora and Riku visited past moments in DDD, maybe Ventus accidentally found his way to their world in the RoS. Meeting with Skuld, Ephemer, the player, and possibly Maleficent he gathered information from the past to help the pack in the future.
Sigil Letter= X (CHI), so Luxu is the traitor, i suppose he is the traitor because he opened the box that master told not to open, but he says him: you will see, what a troll lol. The only thing i don't know is what is in the fucking box, really cool movie it gave us a lot of answers.

The X (Chi) in question is obviously the X Blade and since the Master gave his apprentices their keyblades which were made in its image he has it. He betrayed them by playing them for fools. He played them for fools by deliberately giving them roles that would lead them into conflict with each other hence he started the damn war.

I have an interesting thought about this. I think the master of masters didnt puppet foretellers at all and neither he was the traitor, at least not alone. The traitor wasnt one only, but all of them. Every foreteller eventually began to show darkness shades at the end, each one was slowly growing darkness within , because of the so known "bangle" (which is guilt in kingdom hearts unchained X) and since all of them used this kind of power (they even say this in the movie) , they eventually fall into dark, because we all know from previous games that "darkness grows within hearts, and starts to consume it" even those who never thought on givin up, eventually are overwhelmed by darkness. This is why Master of Masters and Luxu, even tho they're hearts were consumed too (its clearly that at this point, each character has used darkness power in his own,somehow) they wear the black coates, so this way were able to protect themselves and the only two who actually were not "fully traitors" but instead some kind of saviours. If it wasnt for them, the world after these events would have been only darkness, instead, MoM, thanks to Luxu's help, saw what was about to happen, and decided to send (through Ava) key blade weilders with pure hearts throughout the worlds, so they saved the dark/light balance from the "inevitable" war which could have brought to a different end if,again, it wasnt for them. So at the end, MoM and Luxu, even tho were probably the ones who used darkness the most, were not traitors or puppeters but actually saved the world from the inevitable keyblade war by saving fragment of lights and sending them far away. Guys the traitors were the foretellers after all because they used darknes power and thought of never being overwhelmed without some sort of protection (like the coats) and fell into darkside so the keyblade war started..this is the truth sadly :( ..

And no, Xehanort couldn't travel to this Time due to no Xehanorts existing yet. (Xehanort can only time travel to a time where he already exists, such as when Ansem SoD went back in time to when Xehanort was a teenager.)

I just came to a realization. The master of masters left WITHOUT the no name KB, having passed it on to Luxu. In BBS and in KH3 we see the no name keyblade hanging above a mantle, before Xehanort inherits the blade. This would indicate that Luxu, who we find out later is Xigbar, was the master to Eraqus and Xehanort! This means we haven’t even seen Luxu’s final form. He’s been playing with us this whole time. Xigbar really is a keyblade master and could still be one of the new lights.
This raises several questions and answers none of the important ones.
