If we read every scripture literally, then what did Jesus's blood and flesh taste like? 1Cor1:13-14. This is why pre-trib teachers will never understand prophecy. This is also why you never hear pre-trib teachers quote what JESUS taught. For example; Mt13:30,37-43. Mt25:32-33. Jn5:28-29. Lu17:28-30. According to Jesus, NO one left behind when he returns. Dr. Woods has a wonderful presentation on figures of speech in the Bible and how to tell what is figurative and what is literal. It’s on RUclips for your edification.
And MANY pre-trib teachers quote Jesus and teach what He taught. In fact, Woods is pre-trib. At the 31:52 mark HE quotes Jesus from the book of Matthew. Most pre-trib teachers quote Jesus extensively because He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Of course, as with everything in this world, I’m sure there are false teachers in every doctrine.
This is why you have been deceived. I gave CLEAR scripture proof, that you obviously did NOT take the time to study. Thats why you replied without addressing them, and NOT one single scripture of your own, to prove I'm wrong. Now teacher, go back and look at the scriptures I gave of what Jesus taught, and pick just ONE where Jesus taught a pre-trib rapture. I doubt I will hear from you again. 2Tm4:3-4. @@rosemary702001
You are 100% right. He did mention Mt24:37. However, this is how pre-trib teachers decieve the unlearned. If you had studied your bible, you would have noticed he did not mention verses 38-39. They were eating, drinking. Then the FLOOD CAME and took THEM ALL AWAY. Does JESUS teach he left some BEHIND? Or did he take THEM ALL. P.S. Pre-tribers do not extensively quote JESUS, and when they RARELY do, they conveniently leave out verses that prove they are teaching falsely. Also, what is it with pre-tribers that NEVER reply to the scriptures I give of what JESUS taught? Like YOU!!! @@grgustafson3777
Just FYI...someone's position on end times does not (by itself) make them a false teacher. Christians have many areas where they disagree on non-salvation issues. Non-the-less, that is the unfair accusation post tribbers hurl at pre-tribbers. Dr Woods explained this phenomena once by explaining why post tribbers are so angry, and it has to do with what they actually believe. With the explanation, it made sense. @@grgustafson3777
