Overall I thought Iga was the better player tonight. She was aggressive and her shots felts more solid than Linda’s. She just had slightly more errors and shanked a few of her FHs and put a few BHs into the net. And with Linda’s strong first serves, that was enough to make the difference.
Even the top players like Swiatek and Rybakina are simply too one-dimensional.
Yes, they are more consistent and mentally stronger, but there isn't anything in their games that seperates them from the pack. They play the same baseline bashing no thinking required game that everybody else does.
On a good day the make less unforced errors and win, but on a bad day they can lose just like that.
No plan B (let alone plans C, D, E and F) 🙈
Jabeur is the only half-decent technique player, but she can't move.
If they are so bad then how they are on top of the rankings? Care to explain that? Maybe it's because they play smart and always finds a way to win? They have plan b, c, d. It depends on the surface too, you clown and comedy piece. Australian Open hard courts never been strong surface for Iga Swiatek, considering that she only reached Australian Open Semi-final only once in her entire career. You aren't analyzing at all.
