The thing that bugs me about this is the guitar it was recorded with wasn't a Gibson Les Paul Standard like Yui has, and it's not a Fender mustang like Azusa has. Neither of their guitars have a Floyd Rose system on them, so the tremolo parts (like the one in this video) Yui's guitar couldn't make, and Azusa's wouldn't sound the same. It would have been better if the people that recorded the music for this show used the same instruments as in the show
There are no parts of this song that would actually need to use a trem though? If your talking about the part near 2:30, then that can be done by mucking around with the volume knobs, by turning it down and up or just have a pedal do it for you.
christian herrero The part at 2:00 isn't even volume or tone knobs, it sounds more like a pick slide. The trem part that I'm talking about is closer to the 2:30 mark. It isn't just vibrato either, it's straight up trem.

@@SetsuForReal Nope. They've actually released instrumentals for a lot of the K-ON songs on CD. Also in all OPs and EDs, they've also released separate tracks with one of the instruments removed at a time so people could cover an instrument in a song. They've also released a CD for the first OP where they dissect each of the instruments' parts to teach people how to play it section by section.
They(the actual musician behind the anime) probably used their pedal to record with looping section and played while the recorded track is being played. That's what I do..
