  • Join us to celebrate the official launch of The Legendary Uli Women of Nigeria. Following the lives of eight women from a small Igbo village in Nigeria, Ambassador Robin Sanders pays homage to the declining art form of uli (oo-lee) and the women who keep it alive. Sanders, the former U.S. ambassador to the Republic of the Congo and Nigeria, examines the intricacies of uli displayed through symbols, motifs, and cultural praise of Igbo ancestors.

Beautifully well put, it's always great to expand our knowledge on languages so brushed off when they actually have such creative, and meaningful importance to a community
