In the Democratic Republic of Congo, intense fighting resumed between the army and the M23 rebels. The army launched an offensive against several positions of the rebel group. A spokesperson for the army said that several localities have been recaptured from the rebels. Clashes were reported on several fronts in the North Kivu and South Kivu provinces. The offensive comes as the M23 rebel group has amplified attacks in recent months. The years-long conflict has resulted in widespread nationwide displacement. According to the UN, nearly 7 million people in the country were internally displaced by the end of 2023. The worsening violence has also led to an escalation in tensions between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda with the government of Dr Congo accusing Rwanda of supporting the M23 rebel groups.

No one has been denied citizenship in Congo. The Constitution of DRC grants the Right of citizenship to each Congolese born in Congo before the Independence of 30 June 1960. Those who came after have to apply for citizenship. The wanyamulenge are in the government, national army, public administration. Why President PK keep lying to people.
