According to 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV), God always wants us to give him all of our worries, for it states, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
A movie I highly recommend: The Gospel According to Matthew (starring a very animated and engaging acting performance by Bruce Marchiano, who plays Jesus). This is a word-for-word adaptation that has a unique take on the body language and charisma of Jesus, and also makes it easier to understand and quicker to read the story. I am hopeful that this movie gives you peace, love, hope, security, comfort, and answers, as it did me, and continues to do to this day. God bless you.

Before you Catch Feelings, Consider This | Original Poem by Made2Express
So… you finally meet someone you really like…
You get an opportunity to get closer to her via conversation, text messaging, or officially going on a date, hoping to have interests alike
The problem is, you’re nervous as hell, and don’t want to “screw it up”
But you figure, you made it this far already, why not suit-up,
and see what’s up about this opportunity
Your heart starts racing, you begin to feel the pressure
You know you don’t want to put this person on a pedestal, but still, you make the mistake of trying too hard to impress her,
rather than simply observing if you two have mutual chemistry together
You see, love is not forced
Most of the “pressure” should come from excitement, not from anxiety as the source
I’ve been there many times… I can relate to the pain
So allow me to explain,
the mistakes we make that drive many of us insane
First of all, failing to prioritize love over lust leads to confusion
Who is this girl really? What does she have to offer other than her body?
Without this information, you’re creating an illusion…
a delusion, if you will
The problem is, most people simply aren’t willing to sacrifice lust for love
Ironically, waiting until marriage to have sex will help you win her trust
Statistically speaking, relationships are more likely to succeed in this way
If you have the self-discipline for it, it sends a message to the woman that you’re not with her to just play [games]
And this isn’t about “religion”
This is about a decision to focus on what actually matters
Speaking of what matters, another mistake that causes unnecessary anxiety and pressure is focusing too much on labels
Who cares if you’re “beta”, “alpha”, “blue pilled”, or “red pilled”? These fables…
It puts an unnecessary expectation on you to be perfect, otherwise “no girl will like you”, as they imply
It’s just stupid too.
This isn’t a video game
It’s not like everyone’s walking around carrying a visible ranking like it’s 2K
Not only in relationships, but in everything, trust God
For an unbeliever, this may sound odd
but it’s fundamentally important, and here is why
At the end of the day, she’s just a girl
This is facts, something you cannot deny
She’s not God.
Understanding this develops maturity,
and will destroy your insecurities
There are about 4 billion females in the world
To say there isn’t at least one who you’ll get along with just sounds absurd
Trying to be perfect will destroy you,
Friends don’t have to try unbelievably, impossibly hard to become friends, it just naturally happens,
think about your best friend… you know this is true
Focus on expression,
worry less about impression
If for whatever reason it doesn’t work out with this girl,
it’s not the end of the world
How you respond, you decide…
I know heartbreak can hurt, but this isn’t something we need to commit suicide over
I believe heartbreak is just a part of life
You have to be willing to get your heart broken, in order to find a wife
Telling her your feelings, your intentions…
for your sake will save you from unanswered questions
It saves you from wasted time
It’s okay to be nervous, but it’s important to note that you don’t have to be… ok?
God has your back, and if you believe that, you’ll be alright either way
Remember, no matter how amazing someone seems, they’re not God, understood?
So shoot your shot, and if it works out, good.
If it doesn’t, that’s also good.
Treat it like a learning experience
And don’t be so serious
Have fun with it
You’re not going to go from date number #1 to wedding day in a week
So take it one step at a time, bit by bit
Creator's note: My intent with this poem is not to shame the red pill community as a whole. Because honestly, I think there’s a ton of helpful advice that can be gained from these videos. Red pill dating advice has helped me in many ways even to this day. However, I do not believe it’s the ultimate dating advice, as it can get very toxic the deeper you go. The ultimate dating advice in my opinion is biblical dating advice. The Bible is the True red pill.

Thank you for this, I really needed to hear this. Lately me and my gf haven't been on even terms and I know both of us have been stressed out at school and at home, we both have been having disagreements and fights that have lasted for days and now weeks. She told me she has been falling out of love with me and that she's not sure if what she feels is true, I took it too personally and it has been affecting my mental and emotional state so much so that ive started to doubt and loathe myself for the simple mistakes I make. I always feel so anxious when I mess up thinking she'd start hating me again and when it's her who messes up I'm afraid I'd say too much to the point that it hurts her and goes too far.
I love her a lot and she's been a wonderful person to be with but I always feel pressured and anxious whenever I'm unable to do the things she wants or expects from me. I don't want to lose her I just want her to understand that there are still stuff I can't do for her. She's amazing and I always feel like I'm not enough, that I won't ever be enough for her bc of how I am, I'm tired of feeling this way.
Thank you for giving me a breath of fresh air and relieve some weight off my chest bc of this vid. It really helped me realize that I don't have to give it my 100%, just enough of what I can. I know that it will all be worth it soon. Hopefully.

I think part of the anxiety has to do with social media. It makes you feel like you’re less because you aren’t in a relationship. So then you need this girl to like you so you can post things and not feel left out. You just gotta remember that nobody posts the entire truth and you aren’t being shown everything. That has helped my anxiety in this area a lot remembering that.

i’d say same, but i never really was interested in prioritizing romance in the first place. i choose to live life through a Platonic point of view, as Self Love and Platonic Love are the most important forms of love. remember to not get caught up in the idea of romance and all that, and just focus on friendships first

That episode where rigby took advantage of mordecai being too scared and nervous (which it’s okay to be scared and nervous ) to tell Margaret his true feelings was a bitch ass move by his own best friend . But mordecai overthinks a lot , but I love the interactions between him and Margaret. They’re so cute and the show itself really shows their character development just like gumball and penny 🥰
Even though I absolutely love TAWOG, I feel like the relationship between penny and gumball is too pure, straightforward, and not taken seriously enough for me to feel invested like I do with mordecai and Margaret

Can I just say, this is really well written and poetic. The message is really beautiful and I go through this a lot so thank you for giving me the words for it. Mordecai is a lot like me. We both overthink a lot of situations and are afraid of making mistakes. He is a character that I heavily relate to.

I literally grew up watching this series always thinking how he could fall in love sooooo easily but then in the future I started experiencing it..
I don't know if you've seen the cartoon network miniseries "Over The Garden Wall" but the character Wert's story with the girl he likes is very relatable to me and matches well with this topic, I don't think a full video could be made from it, since there's not much in the actual show, it being a miniseries and her only being in two episodes aside from only being mentioned in others

this girl and i got along really well, and i asked for her number in volleyball class last week. which is something i had never done before. we’ve been texting, this video came up at the perfect time, as i was gonna ask her to go out tomorrow! no matter what happens, God has wisdom for me to gain from it. whether its to not be so nervous all the time, or whatever other lesson he has for me. asking her for her number was already a huge lesson for me that its not that bad. so excited for not only the opportunity to be with her, but also for me to grow in my faith and self improvement! i’ll update in a bit
